The timer for the later buildings is too long in my opinion. The bank has a timer of 1 hour 42 minutes and during that time it provides no benefit at all as I can't reinvest the extra income elsewhere, and the return it gives is smaller than the investment I made. IIRC it takes 3 payments to simply break even, which is around 5 hours, and this is for the first one in a chain that increases in cost exponentially. I personally don't think it makes for a fun game, the timers are too long. The timers should start short, and the achievement bonuses should increase the income amount rather than shorten the timer.

I really like this game, but I have a few suggestions that'd make it a bit better in my opinion. First, there should be a tutorial. Obviously this isn't a very difficult game to grasp however it's always nice to have just a little heads up as I totally forgot about the upgrades/managers button. Another thing that I can think of is a little notification somehow whenever you earn an achievement. Lastly, a "customize your character" option so you can spend money instead of automatically looking at your dude get nicer :^) That is all.

I just had a great idea!! You should make the option to "Donate to charity" as a means of earning Angel Investors faster. Like, make it so that in the long run, it would be a waste of money as investing in the businesses would earn you more faster over time but in the short run if your pretty much ready to reset and just want 1 or 2 more investors before the reset you can donate the rest of your money. That and as a bonus, people could also donate the annoying .00 cents at the end if they wanted to....like me....DOOO EEEEEEETTT!!!! Like this post to make it a thing people!!!

Children, remember. Eat your vegetables, do good in school, but above all else, start a lemonade stand. You can make billions off of that.

It's another generic idle. But, from what I can tell, the balancing is almost correct. It has the initial parts (when you first buy something and up to the first 15 or so upgrades). However, afterwards, it just becomes a burden, where you throw million and millions of dollars into something that only generates one million per hour or so.

Oh, welcome back sir! Ah, yes, you'd like to buy another lemonade stand? Excellent, right this way. Now, seeing as it's your 300th, it'll cost 2.5 billion dollars. Inflation and all, you know how it is.

I got enough money to buy the world 10x over in less than a week! Want to find out how? Click here: http://www.kongregate.com/games/HyperHippoGames/adventure-capitalist (yes, this is ripped off from someone who posted this in the same format for idle mine, but i still think it's funny enough to be put here)

I got 7 AI when I hit over 2,2kkkk...easily calculated, 300 billion dollars earned equals one angel investor. Am I right?

Interesting bug: If I turn off my computer or hibernate it while the game is running, I don't see a gain in cash or angel investors. Only if I actually close the game will offline cash be accumulated.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Bob_howdy84: in my experience, the game continues when it's closed. If you keep the game client open and, for example, hibernate/sleep your computer, it'll just continue where you left off when you continue. If you close the application and open it again a while later, it'll calculate how long it was closed and advance your counters accordingly.

great game but since i had such a high income and haven't been able to log into the game for a few days i think i'll never get back in. It must be trying to calculate how much money i have for the days i been offline and just freezes for 10+ minutes

Thanks for limiting the money counter's significant digits a bit. When I have quadrillions, I don't need to see the pennies flashing by. Keep up the good work.

I like this game. I agree with the recommended updates. The Angels add a lot of replay value.
@Holymetria Your game is linked to you Kong account, so you can log in with a different computer and your progress will be saved.

So somehow mouse keys are making me double click and get 2 of items instead of just 1.... this has put me very much in the negative a few times... not sure if this is a bug or intended, but i thought i'll comment to let you know.

All chiters in this game. Everyone says: "I have 150k angel investors". "No i have more i have 500k". "I have even more i have millons". Bloody chiters. Changing PC settings ..

If you have an equal amount of everything the oil company makes up approximately 2/3 of your total income. Also the income per second per oil refinery you own is about 4 times as much as the income per second per bank you own. This being said, other than for achievements everything else is pretty much useless once you get several oil refineries and banks.

It's the real capitalism! You start with a lemonade stand and after a huge work you reach more money than you'll spend in 3 lifetimes. But you can't stop, because you need reset and gain more money.
Why do you want more money? well, if you don't want money, give me yours.

Grimnok if you're into numbers and stats, you can calculate the Return on Investment and Base Cost Per Income with the data given, it would just take a lot of time and excel spreadsheets.

i managed to gather 110 angel investors and i reset the game. Now, if i reset again, my angel investors will sum up or i ll get only the new ones? ty
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Since I am someone who likes numbers and statistics, I would like to know something like "money invested in each venture", "money made by each venture" and "current output of each venture". That would be awesome :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Would be great to have a button "Buy all", because at a certain point, you earn the money for 200 things really fast, and you have to click 2.000 time to complete it. It would make the reset easier.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@TheLaw118 Not necessarily. Once you hit a certain point, Angel Investors begin coming rather rapidly. Im around 20k myself and have noticed that the rate of increase can become rather crazy.

Every time I look at the manager's description, I read it "Automatically ruins the __". Guess that tells something about my attitude to managers
