I just get so impatient. The gap between 200's and 300's is so large. Then I reset for the added Angels... But then it never seems to go any faster. Some day I'll get there... And then I can be free...
That grind to the 300s is the true test of the AdVenture Capitalist. Soon you will have more tools for your journey. Then, perhaps, you shall set your sights even higher...

Great game here. Really looking forward to the update! Why is the Unity plugin required? It will not work on my work PC.

@murcat If your computer has anything that qipes data (such as cookies) from your computer that's why your data was wiped. You have to stop deleting data, otherwise this will always be wiped. 50 angel investors isn't much, so at least you weren't too far in.
P.S. Anyone know where the information for this game is kept? I want to clean out my history but don't want to delete my saved file.
It's stored in your player preferences, which is a Unity file. This shouldn't be affected by clearing your cache. We're working on some save/export functionality as well - coming very soon!

it takes anywhere up to 8,000,000,000,000 to get a single angel investor
im at 80,000,000,000,000 and I still only get 1 angel investor
Yes, Angel investors increase money made from all sources by 2%

Does the angel investors give you 2% more cash from each item you purchase? or 2% of your money back to you when you restart so lets say you restart and you already have like 800 billion or something?

Hello, as far I understand, you can only gain Angel Investors, when you reset the game? But it says I will gain 0? Can someone elaborate?
This is literally the reason for the delay. We've been trying to ensure that it won't. Our testing indicates it won't. But it's going to be scary hitting that upload button soon...

You can also load it back forth between browsers to double the impact of the money. I tested it, the levels were exactly the same on both browsers, but one had a ridiculous amount of MORE money.

I noticed an interesting bug. So, for some reason, I wanted to load the game in a different browser, to test it from the beginning, without having to lose my current levels. So I loaded it in FF (My primary browser is Chrome). And not only did FF load the game from my current level in chrome, but it also gave me a buttload of a money. Like, septillions. As a result I had buttloads of Angel investors. So I reset. And started over again. It appears that the higher the levels, the more pronounced the effect is. But seems like a quick cheap way to get quick money.

My Google Chrome crashed and now I lost all my progress had 19K Angel Investors :( oh well... gonna start over again, so addicted to this game :D

@aarionui Very much agreed. At over 600k+ investors, when I reset, I can almost immediately take everything to 200. My clicking finger loves this idea.

Amazing game, I really do love it. I hope your promised updates come soon because I'd hate this game to become stale and boring. Great concept, great implementation of the concept into a game, all around great.

One of the most needed updates to this game, has to be the ability to buy a bunch of things at once, so maybe add a buy 5, buy 10 and buy 25 button to the UI.
We're going to be adding some active / anti-idle features for the active Capitalist. This will likely be in update #2. A way to hurry things along. A micro-management feature, if you will.

Stop complaining about Unity, this is where browser games are headed, Flash Player needs a whole rework to remain viable online. Sure, it is not needed to run an Idle Game like this, but having Devs using it as a platform will be the standard from now on, until the next best thing comes along.

You don't have to do anything to earn angels. They're given out according to how much money you've made. Make more money, get more angels.
Getting some Angel Investors = getting lots of Angel Investors. Don't be afraid to reset fairly early. 50 Angel Investors will double all your starting profit margins.

Once you hit 200 everything and a decent number of Investors, is it better to go for 300 oil companies straight away (since they're the asset bringing the most money anyway) or logically, from lemonade stands on (though I've read the prices cease to increase in logical progression)?

Interesting that this game replicates part of the ultra-capitalist attitude that is not found in other tycoon games. First you're playing for the money. Then you're playing for the number of businesses. But after that, all you care about is the influence, the people that follow you. Admit it, eventually we're just playing for the Angel Investors score.
