Did you know you can put yourself in debt temporarily by clicking with both buttons on a purchase? I thought that was a cool little bug that isn't exactly game-breaking

I do not quite understand why everyone is doing the math on what cost/yield is for every investment. Face it, the only thing you need to increase the lower ones for is the achievment brackets. The Lemonade Stand will simply not return your investment past 100 (or 50 / 200 and finally 300). It only helps in making your oil rigs (and the other investments) done in half the time when you can get it at the same brackets as all the previous ones, and maxing out your Oil Rigs should be your first priority past 100. Since 1 investment in an Oil Rig level (whatever it's timer is) yields more than 100 Lemonade Stand upgrades.
So basically you want to upgrade cheapest to highest from 1 through 100 one bracket at a time, and backwards from Highest to Lowest from 100 and up.

If you've ever played 'cookie clicker' then angel investor system should be fairly obvious, they accumulate with every reset. Certainly as with every idle game, more content would be welcome, but for an early release, this is great.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Are you planning on making more resources to use? It feels like there could be more than just the current 10, or maybe more upgrades to maximize the capitalism.

I'd like to see a "money per minute" (or per second?) for each investment at the current number. That way I would know, if it is better to buy another shrimp or hockey team... Otherwise: Great feature, that it runs offline!

I'm not certain if the game made it apparent, but Angel Investors do accumulate through multiple games. For example, if you start a game and earn 100 investors, then earn 400 more on the next game and reset you will have a total of 500 investors, not just the 400 from the current game. This method has been helping me stack up investors. I was afraid after having reset once to reset again as I didn't know if I'd lose the first ones I gained, but on a whim I tried it and was pleased to see them added to my previous total. The more you know...

you can't rely only on oil companies think of other resourses too ... they got faster payout period and in busines TIME IS MONEY :P :)

I've noticed that the car will occasionally be parked atop a misplaced bag of money. I feel that no true capitalist would drive over his hard-earned money. Roads made entirely of golden coins are acceptable, however.

hey! The right-click does the same as the left click!
you can double the speed of clicking by using both buttons!
actually, i'd prefer a +5 or +10 button.
Great game, by the way. thanks for making it work offline!

totally geeked out on this and set up a spreadsheet to calculate cost effectiveness of the different investments in order to guide progression. thanks devs!

There haven't been all that many games where I have seen $100 Quintillion dollars before... I will second the motion though that it is amazing that it continues offline. I wonder why nobody else does that with their idle games?

I wish the timer on jobs rounded to the highest second instead of rounded down, as it's a far more realistic time estimate.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As it's not obvious, resetting the game while you have angel investors DOES carry those previous investors over. For example, if you have 200 investors and resetting would give you 300, you'll start over with 500.

"Sir, your empire has grown so much that there are 100 Angels waiting to invest in you." "What makes them so special?" "They each provide a 2% investment value, though you will have to start back at 1 lemonade stand" "WHO CARES! SIGN ME UP!!!!!" XD

if you wind your system clock forward to cheat, buy something, and wind it backward, what does it do? Does that object earn negative dollars?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Haha you dev's just love your easter eggs. On the car wash the name of the manager is a referance to Breaking Bad. Walter White (Heisenberg) XD

To make this the ultimate idle game, there should be an upgrade you can purchase that automatically purchases the cheapest upgrade, and it can be toggled.

I don't like how the money bag get's overlapped by the car, but if you go to another tab, such as the managers tab, it disappears.

Very fun.
Minor graphics bug: on the portrait of the dude, with the suit and two bags of money, the second bag disappears behind the grass every time I go to another tab (achievements etc.)
Playing via Chrome if that changes anything.

Error :D at 277 million angel investors, upgrade prices are vice versa around lvl 300, what was cheap is now expensive :)
lvl 313 oil rig upgrade costs 38,000,000,000,000,000,000, while newspaper lvl 301 upgrade cost whopping 97,000,000,000,000,000,000,

so from this game we learn that investing in a lemonade stand can help you become capitalist :o ok i got to make some lemonade stands !!!

@Breakthru As someone who has coded before, I assure you games like this are more than reasonable to take more than 2 weeks to update. It's not like he needs to fix bugs, he's adding full features.

This easily turned into a more addictive game then a certain cookie based game ... love the offline feature and the upgrades are such a sweet idea.. and the achivements that make the income roll in faster the more you get, just hoping you will add more of those like 500+ and beyond for those whom get REALLY addicted to the game lol

So where's the tipping point? At what point does each resource become cheaper than the one before it and when does Oil become the cheapest thing in the world?
Oil becomes cheaper than the bank at 268, and the cheapest of all at 276.
But you've already spent a lot on it by then.
It's cheaper to get Oil to 282 than it is to get the bank to 282.
It's cheaper to get Oil to 287 than it is to get anything other than the Lemonade stand to that value.
