A neat idea i have about a boss mechanic could be you have to explore the boss tile to "find" the boss then fight it down to about 50% health and go through another search before finishing him off. All while in the search you have the unit health decay with the clerics ability disabled and boss has the regen per tick enabled to encourage a hasty kill on him. To beat it you would need to bring units that can deal damage while also having units capable of searching to fully kill the boss. Would work i think best late game.

an fyi for all the people checking every 10 stars or so (like me) to see if you can unlock the extra ability; the ability takes 60 stars.

There should be a way to destroy or sell the cards you don't want.. selling would be better though.
A way to open all chests of a certain type at one, not just 10 at a time would be nice.
Also double clicking on an island on the map to take you there instead of hitting the travel button on the left would be great too.
Hovering over things like the guild hall, quests, the buttons below on the left and right should have a little description or more information on it without having to click on it. For example, the guild hall could have a quick window pop up when you hover showing all the guildians in that particular town. Hovering over the quests could show the name and stats.
And what does adventuring even do as a stat? There doesn't seem to be any information on what the stats actually do to help.

I feel like your level should contribute to some kind of "increase gold production %". It's not really worth prestiging island 10-11 because it's just too expensive compared to the payout (gold/exp and chests).

Great game! Found a little bug: When opening chests and using the open x10 option, the chests visually remain, and you have the option to melt them after. Doing this will freeze the game on the melting screen.

If you arent going to make it a possibility to roll higher cards than the chest rarity, at least make the cards BE EQUAL to the chest rarity. Im tired of rare chests dropping 2 uncommon cards.

Bayport is too powerful compared to its level and even higher level islands. Mine is granting over 220M / min whereas my other higher level islands can't even get close to 20M... Fully maxed out.
Y'know this has come up enough times and we've never had a solution but I just sketched something out that might work. We'll see when we can actually do it, of course.

Yes I cleared cache and even tried a different browser and still had the same prob with the game loading. Loved the game and your others though.

Ok, well glad that my report of the Explorer issue on Bunny Island Prestige was not mistaken, gratz on quickly pinpointing the problem, and thank you for the goodies chest. Thumbs up all the way ;)
We've had people mistakenly think they lost guildians (it's just hard to keep track of them), but nope, you were right! It just wasn't related to Prestige it turned out. Bugs can be hard to narrow down, haha.

hi, i liked the game, but sadly after last patch i cannot load it anymore on my pc (quite an old one). It often happens with webgl games as soon as they start requiring more memory. Thanks for the efofrt and bye (i'll try to come back to see if that issue has somehow been fixed, but i doubt it will
Our memory requirements didn't change from Sunday to Monday. Maybe clearing your cache will help? But WebGL can be sadly very mysterious about why it works and when it works.

All I see when I start up the game is is processing on the bar. Never loads into the game. Wasn't having any probs yesterday.

UPDATE: An issue popped up starting last Thursday or so where some new players were failing a server check and thus losing their first Explorer. It ended up feeling like Prestiging was killing Explorer cards, but the reality is that players weren't getting that first Explorer successfully added to their inventories.
A few other people were getting issues with the tutorial not moving forward from Bunny Island, and HOPEFULLY this will fix that issue for them. Let us know if that still doesn't work for you!
A fix for that is out, and we're giving everyone some FREE EXPLORERS and basically the contents of a Store Chest to compensate.

Some people are losing explorers when they prestige the first island. It's something that SHOULDN'T be possible to happen but there are enough people mentioning it that it seems to be an issue. We're looking into it, and hopefully will have a fix when we find out what's going on. Apologies!
Hmmmmm. Sounds like something may have gone wrong during the tutorial. Any chance you've refreshed the page/game and tried again? The next tutorial step SHOULD kick off and you can continue. But if that's not happening either, we'll have to look into it. Something may have bone wrong with a server call.

It would be nice to be able to lower the spawn rate of a group you've upgraded. Sometimes, having too fast of a spawn rate actually slow down the farm rate due to clumping, so it would be nice to be able to reduce it to help spread out the locations.

kind of lame that if you played before you have to wait 7 hours to do anything, after waiting months for an update. im stuck with my guys running same quests till bosses show up, cant unlock next islands till boss is defeated... ugh

Prestiged bunny island from stalwart to hardy. Bought all the quests. Maxed them out. Walked away from the game for a bit. Came back to find the game was throwing an "Out of allocated memory" error. Upon reloading the game, my explorer squad in the bunny island was completely gone. (As in gone gone, not back in my inventory). And my prestige points were reset.

Running a Cleric Explorer Knight combo in the challenge island. Please note the order of unit placement. Oddly knights would slot into the &NoKnight Card slot but this setup seemed more within the rules the game was portraying...

I should add that I also received back the two prestige points I spent on the explorers too, so something strangely reverted. My quest I bought on stalwart bunny is gone too.

Well, this is weird. I somehow lost my explorers on bunny island after prestige. They were there. I placed them on the island and max upgraded them. Went offline for a few hours immediately afterwards, came back and they were gone and were no longer in my inventory.

What happend to SilverEyes, also happened to me btw. I thought it was intentional, and since didn't feel the need to prestige but my Team from Bunny Island is indeed gone as well, and I am certain, since I had no Units in my Inventory before hand, and couldn't re-place any in the Bunny Zone after the Prestige.

i had the same issue as silvereyes. I've made my first prestige and i had no explorer available after that. I don't see any info explaining how many of each guildian you should have and what they depend on btw?

@TheHippoGryff: First, apologies if my request for you to test the issue seemed rude, was not my intent, just a simple request. Will send you playfab ID by mail, have a look if anything seems odd... now you got me doubting, but I'm still pretty sure I didn't get that explo squad back after the bunny prestige.... kudos for the game, and thank you for your time.

@THEHYPPOGRYFF that is incorrect, at least for bunny island. The explorer squad from the bunny island prestige from normal to stalwart did NOT go back into my inventory. I had no explorer squad available before the upgrade, and I expected to have one after (the current squad returning to inventory), but I STILL had no explorer squad after the upgrade: hence, that squad did not return. Please test.
We do test. We've tried to recreate this on our end and the Guildians have been returned as they should be. It should (should) be impossible for items to be removed from your game like this; it's simply not designed to work this way. If you like, drop us an email at guildquest@hyperhippo.ca along with your PlayFab ID (Settings screen) and we can take a look to see if anything looks off.

@SilverEyes_FR They're not lost, they just go back into your inventory! Prestiging an island auto-removes any equipped guildians you have there.

When doing my fist prestige, on bunny island, from normal to stalwart, the explorer squad there was simply lost. I now find myself with one less squad. I have worked around this for other zones, by removing the squads before upgrading the zone through prestige, and then reassigning the squad(s). This is however an issue that should be looked into.

@xerros You can check by hitting the little "build" button that's a toolbox. That toggles the quest details on and off. If you see a little token underneath your quest that shows a coin x2 then you're getting x2 gold there!

Also I would focus on maxing just lane 1 and then leveling the path to the point that about half your peeps die before the boss, this is IMO the most effecient

So far loads of fun, prestiging is quiet expensive but overall not that hard to soak if you set your farm lines up properly on other islands

hmm well at the very least it isn't showing up on the stat screen of the quest. maybe it really is rewarding double what it says on the stat screen, but there's no way to check.

Thanks for the update! By the way, the 2x gold for adventure quests is bugged. I have it equipped on ember island, and it is doing precisely nothing.

Attention returning Guild Quest users! If you have a save dating back to when we had multiple islands (November ish?), then you'll still have your inventory, your unlocks, and all your offline gold/xp. There should also be a couple single-use chests gifted to you that have been giveaways the last few months while you were offline. But now there are new islands and a new prestige system and a bunch of other things!
