If I am heading on a quest, it is safe to assume I am going to take my full number of troops per type. Not often will 6 individuals take a quest.

I cannot help but hate when a good game is ruined by simple bugs...the whole concept of a idle game is to be able to walk away but u gotta sit here and make sure you x out of the event screen, 2/5

If you go and play Guild Dungeons I, it actually has significantly better balance in my experience. You can get more of each building and the documentation of everything, while still not good, is at least enough.

It's got a few flaws, such as it being entirely possible to 'micro' your taxes by setting them up RIGHT before tax-season, so it's not quite 4/5. I'll rate 3/5 for now, it'll be 4/5 when you patch the various bugs and exploits, and if you build upon this to create a sequel that allows us to watch the combats, make quest-event decisions, and so on... It'd be 5/5 easily, and I might even pay for it (but, if you're going to charge, please do not release it here. Just leave a link in the description of the free one or something)

BUG: My recent quest will progress.
Result, I can not progress in this game...
Well there goes an ancient good game out the window. Too bad, it was quite thought provoking and fun despite its flaws.

pretty nice game with some obvious flaws. It takes quite some time for ressources to gather, but it is not designed to be idled. Getting ressources over quests is quite annoying, cause you have to put together items/troop types every time again. That is what makes me stop playing it, as i have to do that REALLY often to collect enough mushrooms.

I've had 0 population for quite some time. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have max hovels and am generating quite a few resources. I've built an inn and some other civilian buildings.

really neat game, one thing though when i built my casino it did not give me the 5g per turn, i reloaded to make sure but still not there ;-(

When queuing up a quest, the first unit you select should be the one you don't mind losing. Seems like the first unit you pick is always the one to die.

i figured a glitch. it says i have quest on by that message you get but i havent send guys or finsidhed one ? how come that its still saying that when not on a quest or finished it

It's too bad this never got updated. It would have been a great idle game if questing could be automated to some degree and if the automatic pausing was eliminated.

A repeat last quest button would be invaluable. When farming mushrooms, it is tedious to keep clicking troops and supplies when its the same setup each time.

Lots of the building prices and maximum production rates are disproportionate to their usefulness (like the silver mine, way over-priced for just +1 production). And the casino didn't even boost my gold production, which was a shame after spending 500 gold on it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The foundry is a bad idea. It completely removes all your iron, and there is no way to get iron production above 10. That seems like it must have been a mistake.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Lumber should really have more buildings for increasing production. You use at least 10000 - 20000 wood on various things, the most used of probably any resource.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@joshthesax Yes, you buy 20 iron for 40 silver, but you sell 20 iron for only 1 silver, meaning that the actual conversion is 200 iron = 10 silver = 1 gold, meaning that the foundry is actually about 20 times more efficient than the market.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Am I missing something? The Foundry converts 10 iron to 1 gold, but 10 iron is worth 2 gold in the market (10 iron = 20 silver = 2 gold)

There's a glitch where you gain population at a different time than tax happens so if you set tax to max at the end of the income tick then set it back down you can keep gaining normal population

Few things to consider (some may be in the game already, apologize if they are):
1) Reorganize the constructions menus. Put your starter buildings at the top, not in the middle. It wasn't until I built a lumber mill and a few mines that I realized a woodcutter existed and was super cheap.
2) Add an income/expense sheet, so we can know what we are getting and spending.
3) Highlight either the resource we are missing for a construction or highlight what we have already, this is just a QoL issue.
4) Have all the troops greyed out and have the ability to mouse over to see what building is needed to make them.
5) From what I can see, there are only hovels. Possibly add different houses that have different functions: Mansions, +2 max pop, +2 silver (limited), Townhouses: +8 max pop, Farmhouse, +2 pop, +1 random food (limited).
Just my opinions.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really like the concept, but it definitely needs a patch to address the many, many spelling and grammatical mistakes. Making the economy more 'Settlers-like' and allowing players to determine how to allocate raw resources if they are used for more than one purpose would much deepen the feeling you're managing an actual economy.

Starting tip: SELL all your gold for silver => BUY 100 wood => BUY 3 woodcutters => BUY 100 hovels => put taxes at lowest => wait 10 min to get a decent income => work on industrie first, buy what you dont have with the silver/gold you're raking in.
