This game has lots of minor problems such as preatty strange economy and production system, slightly overloaded interface, non-friendly quest and battle screen (boring repetitions of the same operations and poor info about how troops skills really works), impossibility to participate in battles 'personally'.
Still i find this game preatty nice because it reminds me 'Heroes' 'Settlers' and other good old games. If author will remake global economy system and bring more dynamic in game 'Guild Dungeons' will be really nice.

Suggestion: More buildings that produce iron, or make foundry consume less iron, or consume iron at a slower pace, i.e. 10 iron every 5 turns for 1 gold.

the iron issue is stupid, why on earth would i not send more miners or something? the consumption is higher than the income... i mean seriously, this could be a very popular game if not for stupid little quirks like that...

if you keep careful monitoring you can jump the tax rate up right before collection and youll still get the full amount this decreases the chances of something bad happening because of the hike but increases your income

(Part 3) 5) max out your crops, wheat is expensive and you’ll need a ton of it. 6) do not build a foundry, if you do say good bye to your iron. You need iron to play this game, you need a ton of it. Do you not buy more than you need if you have a foundry cause it will take it all.
Look, there is no guide or help documentation for this game so I hope this helps. I was fun to play this game even though it can be so super annoying. Art is beautiful, the copy is the worst. Good luck! Below is how I beat the last quest, the lair:
Larz, 200 succubi, 200 fithlings, 201 berserkers, 222 minotaurs, 259 archers, 200 guardians
Climbing pick / backpacks / utility belts / medicine / antibiotics / war dogs / spy glasses / whetstones / rope

(Part 2) 3) Here’s the main trick: build your city! Just keep building everything you can purchase. The more you build the faster people come (420 is the house limit, get to it fast. More houses = more tax money). When you get troops like the minotaurs and fithlings create a nice brigade and go out and savage. I know it SUPER annoying to do, but actually the more you quest the more stuff you bring back. Hit up the reflecting pools quest a lot to get mushrooms. 4) if you get a full population, don’t be scared to raise the taxes. Drain your population down for a while, then lower it. 5) Drainstone is pointless as far as I can tell, doesn’t do anything as well as the relic vault, and smithing. You need research, so make that an early goal.

Well I’ve played this game for 4 days now (thanks furlough) here is my assessment (part 1). Overall it was fun and captivating. Obviously there are some major flaws and annoyances but I’m not going to talk about that those cause I think it’s pretty obvious that the developer isn’t going to fix them. So what I’ll do instead is help out the new comers with some tips and tricks: 1) take is slow is right, but you can’t just walk away. This is best played while doing chores. You gotta check in every so often to make sure that a window isn’t preventing progress, but the game has to run constantly for you to make any progress. 2) I read the comments after a while and I read that you have to have archers – this is false. I beat so many quests without a single archer. Mostly I had to do cause I couldn’t figure out how to get archers (I think you need to build the longhouse).

I can't give this game 5 stars due to the massively annoying questing system (over 2 dozen clicks just to START a quest, and they get forgotten each time), and some quibbles about resource balance.

Good place to get stone=Darkwood quest (stone quarry)
Hunters=help prevent starving
Monks=protect against poison
Minotaurs=awesome fighters
Archers=range fighters
Henchmen=carry loot (30+ to carry all 200 stone)
Leader=Ern helps prevent starving

I don't get it. I beat a lvl2 quest with 5 henchmen and 5 conscripts, no tools, and a lvl4 quest gets 20+ scrappers & 10 fithlings & 25 conscripts with some basic equip killed. wtf am I missing?

How can you forge an ancient bracer? I mean think about it, it's ancient by definition. If you've just forged it, it's brand new.

I have to agree with Ahihoel, and Phaytle.. This game needs a tutorial to get started even if just for the first of everything needing doing with the option to disable it for seasoned players.

I agree that the quests badly need to have a 'repeat last team' option. It would also be good if you could leave a quest in the middle of preparing, trade or research a bit, and come back to finish it off.

Accidentally closed out the window while my troops were out on a quest. I come back and the troops are still out but the progress bar for the quest doesnt move. Cant do any quest or get my troops back. Please fix this bug!

I feel this needs to be said..Some Blackfoot Gnolls set a storage shed on fire. Crap happens, yes? My problem however, is I lost forty percent of the COPPER that was stored in it. Are we stoned, or just not paying any attention whatsoever? Metal melts, but isn't destroyed by heat. Kinda goes with the territory y'know. Perchance one could take a little more of reality's physics into consideration in future versions?
