This is seriously the only point and click game that I actually took the time to read the books and diaries. Good thing too, Otherwise, I'd be stucker than a duck in the muck. xD 5/5

Very well made game. Carries a hint of the Alice is Dead (chpt 1), along with Sagittarian's rougher humor. 4/5, for certain

* although i can't tell if the hammer is one towards The Sagittarian, or if it is just because of its significance to the story

he he, there are quite a few references in here....although i can't tell if the hammer is one towards The Sagittarian of them, or if it is just because of its significance to the story :/

The following items can only be collected once you know you need a certain potion: Tonic - In the tavern, off the shelf; Cricket - Under the girl's bed; Mushroom - In the bushes by the door to the girl's house; Egg - In the reeds next to the porch of the woodcutter's house; Potion - Bring the ingredients back to the Alchemist.

I'm not going to write a linear walkthrough because most of this game is just wandering around talking to NPCs and reading diaries to find out what to do. Instead, here's a list of where to find items: Pumpkin - Porch of woodcutter's home; Knife - Box on floor of Alchemist; Hammer - Drawer in Girl's bedroom; Candle - Above fireplace in girl's home; Jack-o-lantern - Combine pumpkin and knife, then carved pumpkin and candle (cont.)

Nice game. The items needed were in logical locations. Same wonderful artwork as your other games. Some of the music seems influenced by The Eagles "Hotel California."

The large description block that appears when you click on something gets obnoxious after awhile, covering up a lot of the screen and requiring a click to dismiss. Having it appear on a short timer might be better.

How abrupt the end! It is a really, really pleasant game. The art is lovely, the music splendid. To top that, a decent, interesting story! This is clearly a winner. I'd just wish the cliffhanger didn't left me with so many unanswered questions. Still 5/5 and I'm looking forward to episode 2. Thank you!
Yeah, thanks so much! The primary reason I ended there was the fact I had reached my 10 meg limit. However I plan to release the following episodes as quickly as possible, as to not keep people waiting. :D

Games where there's going to be a story really should be released all at once. Usually by the time the later pieces are put up, I've forgotten what's going on and I've lost interest.

Really nice combination of storytelling, music, and art! Feature suggestion: Allow me to press a button on the keyboard instead of clicking "Close" whenever I examine something.

The game looks pretty good so far, but there is one almost game-breaking problem this game has: The red arrows you use to navigate the areas are waaayyyy too transparent. I'm having such a hard time just trying to find these arrows to find out where I can go or how to get out. I was stuck looking everywhere when I got to the book, just trying to out how to get out.
Other than that, I'm enjoying it so far.

Interesting story, but some of the locations feel awfully random. I had to click on a background bush in order to find the mushroom. It feels as thought the objects should be more evident. Still, it wasn't actually difficult or frustrating, so I guess it worked out okay.

such a great twist on the classic point and click games. Nice story, not so difficult that you want to look up a walkthrough (if there is even one). Keep up the great work!
