Good concept, bad execution. Some of the levels are luck, not skill. Also, the physics engine is off on a couple of levels.

in the walltrough theres somthing weird i didint get... a ball of 40 str and xplosive :/ im in lvl 14 and dont have it

What this game really needs is some way to tell what your last shot looked like. Especially on level where indirect fire is the order of the day, it becomes very frustrating to try to resolve levels.

got by 17 by having to get it while it was teetering, i dont think of that as a great level. sure it is a given by design of the game but it frustrated me to the point of wanting to stop playing and destroy my computer by pulling a 9/11 on it remotely. anyways i got past it and we can see how thios will finish up as.

level 17 is freakishly difficult and the way i see it relies on replaying the level over and over to get either lucky and get it, or be extremely skilled in physics to measure the exact amount of counter balance to defeat the level. it would be nice here to have a graph or meter to exactly measure the energy, more then what is implemented here, to ensure perfection. other than taht i enjoy this game alot like the first one. except for this bloody level 17. two days so far, and i have starred all the previous levels to this. Either i suck or am unlucky. i think its the luck cause i have the skill.

@Patolord you just shoot over the wall outside of the screen.
@Steven1024 Seriously it isn't hard at all, I've nearly got all of them now and I have only played for about 30 minutes.

Ah now I see... they patched blosics 1, added a link to player packs elsewhere, updated the version number... and suddenly this is justified as a whole new game? grmbl
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Agentjake4: As far as I can see this game is exactly identical to blosics 1. The levels, the challenges and the bonus weapons are all brilliant but exactly the same. So... as much as I would like to give it a high rating as I loved the original I don't really see the point of this identical 2nd game?

wow....Challenges....all impossible......1/5
Actual concept same as first...1/5
Graphics....you improved the throw i think so 3/5
story....1/5 scoring system BS
Burning your own eyes out after playing this....priceless

The physics simulation seems off, which kills any entertainment value.
The blocks are too yielding, ice isn't slippery and the simulation is too slow.

Pixel hunts = teh suck
I really don't like games where you have to slowly move your mouse over a range of pixels to find the right one in order to win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Until a hotkey is added to restart a level so you can make smaller adjustments with mouse, I've found this to be unplayable. It's just too touchy and having to move your mouse to click restart, then try to figure out where to aim and with how much strength again is just no fun.

lol on lvl 11 a shot a random size 4 and guess what - it did a perfect square and didnt knock over 1 red, and it knocked over all gteens!

this game is really awesome you know that .. instead of finishing the goal you''ll just throw and throw balls all over the place .. XD

I really liked the first game but, some of the levels in B2 are almost too challenging. at the same time I want to beat the levels rather than just give up and go to another game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@lordatog - lvl5 challenge: use size 30. aim low (2nd and 3rd row from the ground) at full speed, horizontally. pray. works usually.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
29/30 challenges down... So, how the heck do I beat level 5 with just one shot? I'm at a loss here. No matter what ball I use or where I aim, I'm always at least ten points short.

for the last level challenge, 2 disintegrator balls can take out all the red blocks on the left (the first takes out one and most of the second, then quickly shoot a second catch the few still falling and all of the third) after that it is quite easy to down the rest. the leftern ones are very easy to just tap, once you're left with the rightmost use a bomb to blow them over the right reds. even with the cost of the pinks, I got 159 +100.
Vote up to give the hint to others.

Some of the design choices for this game are just baffling. People seem to claim that the physics are spot-on, so why do my balls seem to fall slower than molasses? They have no problem shooting up quickly, but they fall pathetically, in defiance of realistic gravity.
Which is doubly a problem on the levels where you require the user to shoot off-screen to hit the target. Firing off-screen is a crapshoot, at best. You don't even know if you missed or not, because it takes so long for the ball to come down, you're not sure if you're still waiting.
It's an entertaining game, I'll admit, but it needs a lot of work.

Getting all of the challenges opens the really fun Vortex ball, but between its cost and its small center for removing red bricks and its frequent clogging, it's not very fun on a lot of levels. I have to beat the game to open the vortex...so why not make it a total "I win" button for fun to go back and revisit all of the levels? Increase the size of its center, increase the "spin" it gives to the green bricks so they don't jam up the middle so easily, and make it cost less so that every single level can still win with it.

Nearly every "Challenge" is purely luck-based. I mean, sure, you need to not aim like a moron, but even using the correct strategy, most of them come down to a matter of luck. That's a bit of a turnoff for me. If you took a million monkeys and gave them a million laptops, one would eventually win this game and beat every challenge. Having said that, the game is fun and addictive and does hold my attention. Nice job on the graphics, sound, and physics engine. One thing I would like to see is a "free ball mode", in which using a ton of balls doesn't penalize your ability to progress. This would be a big help in levels like 14, where you basically need a very precise "lob" in order to pass.

Fun game. Full cleared it now.
The challenges were really cool because they gave goals to shoot for that made me spend more time with the game than I would have otherwise. This is a good improvement over the first game.

I keep telling myself I hate this game, but I can't seem to stop playing it - 3/5 for your amazing embedded mind-control message, if nothing else.

For last level, the challenge is easiest if you get rid of the lowest 5 aliens. Then shoot a remote detonator right below the top row of aliens, in the middle, and detonate.
