ok Ilove having the two player option, but who ever plays as the computerisbattlingwithout upgrades. It isnot possible to meet on an even field unless you never usean upgrade. please make a better two play system in the sequal, because the Ai is too easy to play more than once.

if there is one thing i would change, it is the AI of the game, since it is partially reliant on what you do e.g. you build a quasar then the enemy would build a mothership or you build a ion core then the enemy would build a nexus

thanks indigon - this really is an great looking, original and highly enjoyable strategy game, the ONLY thing it lacks (for me) are about 10 additional levels of inceasing difficulty... maybe Star Relic 2 will quench my new found thirst for intastellar turn-based combat?

pretty sure i just found a bug. i clicked a radiation cloud from my pulsar ship, and now i can't click anything else but the cloud and the quality/sound/music buttons

A few comments after playing the missions:
-The units need to feel like they have more variety and use.
-You should have an option of automatically ending your turn when all your units are out of turns. Also you could tell which units have done their turn, too.
-The voice acting, gah. The units' dialogue are very annoying. I have to play with the sounds off. The Klosian ones are the worst, imo.

For me this game is one of the few great games to play hot seat. Hoever the is one thing bugging me: is there a way to get both players ships upgraded? because right now only the first player gets the upgrades the 2nd does not which is quiet lame if you think about it. if this fixed the game will sure raise to be one of the best hot seat games overall

I like the game, but please add:
1) badges
2) display of which ships are still able to move (I assume shooting ending the ship's turn is 'as designed')
3) ui introducing the new ships and their powers prior to the upgrade screen, as it affects the next choice of upgrade. (if not 'as designed' please allow re-allocation of upgrades)

I love this game. I want to see more, mre races, more obstacles, larger fields, harder AI or at least the choice, more opponants, a map editor, this is rich with possibility, thankyou, now gimme the sequel!!!!!

It looks like there isn't really a good counter for just spamming the cheapest units to overwhelm your opponent. Getting two weak shots in is almost always more valuable than getting one powerful shot.

I would like to see the single player mode get harder. Maybe some missions where the computer gets a strong advantage over the player like multiple warp gates or a cluster of gems near their gate. As it is the AI just can't hold its own.

Best game to have come out since Sonny. No, seriously; this game is a clever game where tactics win. If this was updated with more races, it would be perfect. It's not a 'must', but this is a good enough game anyway. Also, If only you could redo missions . . .

Good game Indigon, and the question we're all asking is: do you plan to do more with it? Anyone up for some Star Relic 2?

Fun but I found it terribly easy. The computer is not very smart when it comes to prioritizing capturing and holding resources, so it is quite easy to overpower them. Humans were hardest race for me and Klosians campaign went very quick because of their quick little ships which can overpower pretty much anything.

I think that advanced sodinar ship is bit OP, but it is so satisfying feeling to move your ship next to enemy base and destroy it with single 17-damage attack :)

Oh yeah, the male and female of the species could be for the two different factions of that race. This could even be expanded to faction unique ships and upgrade paths.

Great game, loved the new ideas and the simplicity but room for some great strategy. I would love to see future games, more units, more advanced AI (they don't seem to understand that they can blow up asteroids) (The AI is decent for human but the special ships for Klosian and Sodinar might as well be worthless for the computer because they don't know how to use them). Thank you! I look forward to future games.

Good, but I encountered a level where I was unable to continue since the rotation of the two bases blocked the planet in the center, good new mechanic though, really enjoy it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I enjoyed the gameplay but tactically speaking it was far too simple to win. The weakest ships do too much damage for their cost. The rotation was a nice effect and the shifting battlefield was definitely good. I did have the game freeze multiple times in the middle of the enemy turn. Might be a bug.

strategy is pretty much the same for each race; swarm the hell out of the other guy. My favorite race for doing this is Klosian, their base has an extra build range, and their cheap guys move and shoot farther than their counterparts.

Great Idea with the rotating maps. Great hotseat/computer play which alot of starting games miss out on. Overall good concept and could has potential aplenty

very nice game. Unfortunately, the AI is really a piece of cake.
Perhaps most useful unit: terran frigate - with the upgrade, shoots at nearly everything in a three radius.
The pulsar is fun: after you build it just crank them orbs, and you'll one-shot anybody. :)

Great game, the move attack should be improved so you can move and attack by one click, and move anywhere you want and attack. Like click and then hold to chose a target.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be nice if I could route my ships path before it attacks. Right now it only attacks in the most direct route.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just ahd a bug where ships don't appear on the grid but behind it faded and now it wont move back to the game screen now that i beat the level

Amazing game, as is true with almost every game it can be improved upon. Which would only further improve on an already great game. 5/5 otherwise :D

Great game(play)!! there are some things you should implement though: -1 moons that create additional playing field and rotation. hard to implement logical physics, but it'd be awesome -2 player-buildable repair platforms/energy regens that only help the player but decrease the building space of the warp gate -3 multiple warp gates that can be created by calling in an "colonization/expansion" 7 energy costing ship which can build a second warp gate anywhere, also doubling energy income + max energy. -4 huge scale solar system battles. in these environments the multi warpgate could come in really handy, everything is centred around a sun with planets as 'moons' from the original idea. -HUGE FREAKINg 5! the faster rotating stuff is already very innovative, but maybe you can also implement (at some 'super dense planets' that going into deeper orbit speeds you up (gives 1 extra move) while moving outwards costs 1 turn.

Lovely game!
The rotating idea is very nice although it screwed over my plan a few times =D
It would be nice to see it expanded, maybe have more than just 1on1? Possibly also different game types, eg king of the hill.
