dragonman: The armor does not protect you from acid at all. The hazard suit is what you need to protect yourself from all things gooey. The armor only protects you from actual attacks.

I never said that new glooples will not appear in hardcore mode, but it does not increase the likelihood of it occurring. New glooples still appear at the same increments that they would in regular mode. The only change that hardcore makes to the dynamic of the game is that glooples you have already seen all come out at the very beginning. The grinder appearing for the fist time when you had hardcore on is strictly a coincidence. It would have happened just the same in normal mode.

use a box gun and armor for the razor queen. she will focus on the gun and you can hopefully get your hits in. it worked for me.

lol a gloople blinded me in black ness so i start clicking randomlly and when it stops the blackness i see a grinder and 2 spikes and a hunter surronding me in all directions

Torchies and frosties appear only in huge nests and bounty runs, and you first have to wait through the appearances of all the small nest glooples and big nest glooples before they will begin to show up. Hardcore mode does NOT in any way speed up or encourage the appearance of new glooples, it only makes it harder to survive long enough to see them. It's all based on time, so absolutely nothing you can do will make them appear any faster.

To find a frostie you should do a Bounty Run in Hardcore Mode, if youre lucky a frosty or torchie shows around 1000 points.

@ rouges50 beat a small nest down to the last 5 then wait for a couple of minutes then, if you have a full beastiary she might appear

Once the bestiary is full, the razor queen appears roughly the same way the queen does (although she MIGHT be able to appear during bounty run. Not sure). It took me a while to find her as well, but I assure you it'll happen.

You do not have to do a huge nest to get razor queen. She can come out in any nest. It's best to do a small nest because it's much easier to keep your armor, which will really come in handy for her. You just have to have LOTS of patience because queen appearance are random and not guaranteed anywhere.

you get razor queen by doing huge nest then letting the last 3 or 4 keep going off screen. Eventually they should come out as something else

Grinder would be rollout goosey. As for other things: Gloopie=tackle, inkie=smokescreen, meltie=acid, sharp=spikes (i spose) oozle&amalgamam=absorb, frostie=blizard, torchie=flame wheel&selfdestruct (how'd you miss that one), queen=slash, gray=absorb&harden&spike cannon (?) void eater=gravity&shockwave&hyper beam, horror=rapid spin&pin missile&swift, Razor queen=Slash&thrash&spikes&spike cannon&swift. (I enjoyed that more than I should).

tip on how to defeat the queen: 1) get the box gun, 2) distract the NORM queen, 3) try not to die and 4) let the box gun kill it.

If it's lagging you can go to the options menu and turn down the spawn count and the quality, and it should improve the framerate at least a bit.

roflmao i have the tension to hit my own box gun alot. i hit it like 5 times on accident then it shot me but i reflected bullet with my sword then the bullet hit the box gun and it went boom.
