Flaming skulls should not be allowed to spawn over obstacles you jump over, especially considering the "run flawlessly" medal.

Except isn't the true point of BotD actually just giving incentive to play other games and the mindset of gamers nowadays just see it as "oh look, an achievement that's worth double points for today only?"

If the new BOTD's require this much time, I'm done trying to collect them. Not just this game, but others have this problem too lately. It's no longer casual and more of a chore. Sad to see Kongregate go like this.

Something to consider - you may want to go into the options and turn off the 'retro effect,' I personally found it WAY easier on the eyes.

This badge should be HARD for sure, too much time consuming, wasting an HOUR to get it, facing the same treats over and over again, I'm definitely dropping it and not completing it. If the game ended at 500m would be nice, however it keeps going on and on with no ending in sight. Really annoying and lenghty

I think there are A LOT of people who do not know that you can triple jumg. That is the only explanation I have for all the whining. Getting 120s would be hard with only single or double jump; with triple jumg, you can get it done in your first attempt.

Yet another hard badge masquerading as medium. Good music, clever concept, but no counters for distance, time, or coins on screen add to the difficulty. Whatever, Flash Death is gonna catch it soon ...

This is a really time consuming BOTD, so attacking people is wrong. The game is great, so it is worth it, but still don't be rude.

Boohoo, look at the kiddies complaining the Badge of the Day is not an insta-win. Autosaving and checkpoints made you all *weak*, and addicted to achivements for opening the game and scratching your... chin. XD Is a medal, work to earn it!!

I have not yet started the game but can I say I start to hate the fact that it's another Medium BOTD? That this one wants total completion?
I liked it when these things were mostly quick things to do in between other things....

SO long tried get all medals, couldn't get 2 min flawless. When i got it , i runned nearly 4 .... Short, pleasant game. Only thing i can complain are the skulls, that are flying at you at insane speed when you just jumped over obstacle 5/5 from me.

Can't say I disagree that much with 9600GTMAN, honestly. You're required to get every achievement? Even the one that has you dodging everything for two minutes straight? Even when there's times where you can't dodge it all? Yeah, not impressed. Mind you, there is a lot of skill involved and you can dodge nearly everything. But the fact that the dev was lazy enough to just leave it all up to RNG disgusts me.

Only in a nightmare could you gracefully triple-jump through the air to grab a flying gold coin, only to be spiked back to the ground by a flaming skull, trip over a giant toadstool, and get nudged to death by a fluffy bunny rabbit hiding behind a tree.

I had played this game years ago, and I completed it for the BoTD earning the last unearned medal, and earning that last medal was difficult enough - 120 seconds flawlessly, it's taken me the last few days of tries. Earning the BoTD from a new game would be at the very, very least exhausting. Also, looking back at the medals, I can no longer remember how to jump offscreen - even with triple jump. You just can't bounce off things. Had I not earned that medal before, I guess I would have missed the BoTD altogether.

i hate the fact that there isn't any invulnerable frames, if you get hit once and get slowed, you can get hit again instantly, causing basically death

It's a really cute game! I like how you can jump over the animals too if you don't hit them right. The only problems is how difficult some of the game is and how there's a point where you're collecting a lot of coins but they're useless. In general, a good game, but the medal should be changed to hard and it probably shouldn't have been game of the day with that medal.

i feel like the villain wasn't the wolf reaper thing. the enemies werent the foxes, wolves, bears, skulls, and fire pits...it was the bunny that kept killing me when i was at 490m.

"Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at game168918.konggames.com." Why am I seeing this instead of the game? From the recent comments, it _appears_ that it should be working today...

When you're going for the flawless 120s, the best strategy is to restart your run if you get hit at any point. Soon after the first 120s, the line of fires appears and a bunny may spawn in the middle of it, forcing you to hit it or jump into the flaming skulls above you. The game's difficulty also goes up significantly after that point, making your chances of not getting hit slimmer. If you have trouble discerning if you missed the attack bar and need to jump over a fox/wolf/bear, look at your sword. It will glow if you hit it right.

The only challenge that's easier to do if you pre-plan before getting all upgrades is the recover all health one. With 2 or 3 full hearts (1 or 3 upgrades), high recovery skill and high jump skill (some level of sword is helpful but not required), it's easy to intentionally take damage from the first two or three 'shrooms and then avoid as much damage as you can until regeneration does its job. You can take damage between falling very low and filling your health, it doesn't have to be flawless regeneration.

You win by unlocking all medals (full upgrades, 500m ran in one run, 120s flawless time, recover from near-death to full health in a run and other, easier challenges you can see from the main menu) and then letting death catch you one final time.

How long do I need to run to win? Theres no meter or anything. I ended with 782 m and still lost. It feels like forever. How far do I need to run? And if you can add a meter to the game, that would be nice so I know how far I need to do
