Pretty cool, although it took me a few deaths to realize the blinking that happens when you're hit doesn't actually make you invincible :P Can lead to some pretty fast-escalating death spirals!

I wish you could downgrade your stats because the one where you have to go from nearly no health to full is really hard with max upgraded hearts

ok the moving slider thing on the sword is very hard to see. better color gradient should be used. red or green on grey is not a good combination. -1 for UI

ok the bunnies are pure evil doesn't seem to be anyway to avoid them I have max jump and no matter when I jump It still registers a hit on me from them. 3/5 fix this and you get 4/5
the bunnies are definitely avoidable. I specifically tweaked the hitbox to be a reasonable area (much smaller than the art). since you are the first to report this, I have to assume you are jumping improperly. Your account does say you hate precision jumping/timing games...

I've got all the upgrades, I've got thousand "badges", i have bee playing the game during minutes and minutes, avoiding million of traps, and killing million of foxes and bears... but, IT NEVER ENDS... DESESPERATING.

One of the Medals, Master of Suspense, is much easier to get if you do not max your health. Focus on other medals, max out your HP recovery speed and put a single point into health. This will let you get hit twice, knocking your hp down to 1, and then you can simply wait about 30 seconds to get the medal as long as you don't get hit again. If you try to get this medal after maxing your health it gets much more frustrating.

The only frustrating thing about this game is that first of all hazards can be obscured by the foreground, and second there does not seem to be any hit protection right after taking damage. At one point two rabbits were hopping through a gravestone and i hit it and instantly died because all three of them registered as a hit.
The foreground was intentional - it moves faster so that no obstacle is ever obscured for its entire appearance. Also, a run of enemies is supposed to hit you more than once, if you make a mistake. Challenge was the reason for both these choices - the game is fair, but not forgiving.

Good thing it's a dream, because a little girl that kill a bear with a single blow but gets foiled by bunnies and mushrooms is a bit too much.
And nice music, btw.
sword upgrades affect the red area's decay rate. zero upgrades makes a bear's sword range 8 pixels wide after 60s. if you can aim that consistently, bravo.

quick tip. don't even try fighting the foxes wolves and pig things, just jump over them. far easier plus you can collect the coins that are inevitably floating above them

aim attacks well? how? there's no instructions on how to do that. push x at the begining of the sword? the end? somewhere in the middle? come on throw us a bone, give us some instructions on how to play

I love the game, it's a great concept and fun to play but I only have one problem: It may have to do simply with my browser (Safari), but sometimes the game freezes up and I can't control the girl for a few seconds.

Also love the tea (coffee?) mugs strewn around the room while she's training. On the slightly more macabre side, if you look closely some of the skulls have your red ribbon on top :( Nightmare indeed.

Loved the "Keep calm get coins" reference, overall really nice runner althou it would be nice to have timer and coin number durning the run.

Lovely game, the music, the graphics, the style, and the twist on how to finish the game. Also the poster of "keep calm get coins" gave me a chuckle. Kudos to you for this fun game!

A nice little game, but I probably never would have figured out how to beat it without the comments. I would have kept on running and running... ;) Oh, and I just love how everything flows on my screen after having played for a while! (Yes, that was sarcasm... Now excuse me while I go throw up.) ;)

no luck with the menu music, the title is too generic to search for :(
