I dunno what it is about this game that makes it so great, probably the seamless graphics and quirky humour... :P A bit tough without some sort of checkpointy thing though. :)

Before I start harping, this is a good game. Humor, characters, timing and rating into an action RPG game that usually wouldn't have these in it like this fashion. You never saw this sort of interaction in a kings quest game. The full restart is a pain in the butt, a brutal penalty to a game where mistakes can come so easily. There is also a point in these games where you say to yourself...”ya know, I'm just not compelled to do with without a strategy guide.' a few less-subtle hints would make this game that much stronger.

It was kind of fun. I had to use a walkthrough because I did not feel like spending hours doing it. I did most of it in a different order than the walkthrough, though. For many of the tasks, you can do them in different orders, but some are absolute in their placements and so I had to restart sometimes. Decent game overall still.

A good game, but unforgiving. Some checkpoints or any kind of save system would really be nice. Still, it's fun. The humour is a little forced though. 4/5

The game was designed to not be beaten on the first try, so it should at least have checkpoints, because I am NOT gonna play a game that just angers me, and that is designed to be repetitive; I've gotten near the end of the game about 3 times, each taking 10 minutes or so, each monotonous - when I end up dying or pressing the wrong button. On top of that, the dialogue was a horrendous failure of an attempt at humor. However, it was obvious that the creator put a lot of time and effort into the game and showed a lot of creativity, and I can't just belittle a game because it is missing just one thing, so I rate it a 3/5.
