i think that this is a great game but it is simply really unclear about how everything works so all i ask for is some sort of tutorial
We developed a few tutorial characters for the upcoming Unity version. However since the UI and interactions are being cleaned up, we decided to leave that portion of development entirely to the ported version as opposed to going through the process twice with flash. I agree and understand though, it's a lot being thrown at a user without much initial explanation. -Ray
Blade, were you on a different account or portal when you last played? I looked at the database and old backups and did not find anything linked to this account. -Ray

Ridiculous floating-point errors on your gold number early on (when it's supposed to be like four digits) makes the game look much sloppier than it really is.

Using cards for the badges is potentially helpful, but it's not at all clear HOW to use them if you're new to the game. Step 1: Go to the forum post listing codes. Step 2: Enter the codes in the social tab. (most recent first, working back a couple of weeks until they quit working) Step 3: Click Activities --> Cards --> Card Packs. You should see several Tiny Packs available. Step 4: Open the packs, making sure to collect at least enough of a given card type to earn its bonus. (10 minimum) You can see how many of each card you've got and the associated bonuses and requirements for higher level bonuses in the Cards main menu. If you do what I did and just collect a bunch of different cards, you've wasted the entire bonus.

Game window doesn't work? I was having a problem for a while (seemed to solve itself eventually...?) where after enabling Flash, the screen stayed blank until I right-clicked it and clicked "Forward". Hope this helps.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you're getting a black screen make sure flash is enable. That's normally the problem for me. Sometimes it takes a little while to load, so you may have to wait a bit. Also certain countries, namely Russia, has blocked certain IPs that might be a problem too

But It's graphic is worse than flipline's papa louie series, which released the some of their game before year 2015. for upgrade, It could make sense, but that gimmick could prevent newcomers to play the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Upgrades in this game are slow because you keep them permanently. Other idle games would have you reset to level 1 when you Ascend, but since you're not climbing from level 1 to level 40 over and over again every day, it takes longer to do. Also, when you called these graphics "poor", did you forget this is a 2015 Flash game? They're fairly average all things considered. But I'll grant you that it would be really nice to have more music, and click-attacking mechanics have room for improvement.

For medium-badge grabbers(like me): SPEND ALL YOUR AP. We will not play this program after having a badge right? then it's ok to spend all our AP for upgrading idle ATK. (since clicking is nearly broken in this game, just upgrade idle AKT only.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
First, upgrading stuff in this game is quite hard. I mean, the price of upgrade is sharply increases than other idle-games!(Maybe due to this game is meant to be P2W game) Second reason is the poor graphic and music. In the gameplay, just one kind of music is constantly repeating, and inconsistent graphics deteriorates level of completion of the game.
Hi there,
Upgrades might seem expensive at first but as you progress, gold becomes extremely abundant. Since the upgrades are permanent (you don't lose them on ascension) they aren't intended to be capped out in just a couple hours. As for p2w, there's nothing you can't achieve for free. The game is extremely generous with every currency. -Ray

ArusDaryl / Actually there are bunch of great idle games. like anti-idle, Realm grinder, and cookie cliker. BUT NOT THIS.

After the fustercluck of Mighty Party / Animation Throwdown, trust me I hate p2w bullshlt as much as the rest of you guys who are here just for the badge. But don't be so quick to throw every last idle game ever made into the dumpster on sight. This game is years old, and still receives regular updates and new content, while your average cash grab is abandoned by 90% of the devs after beta release. It also has a lot for you to actually do, and is built to still be (mostly) satisfying even f2p. I have to say though, the prices are too damn high. If you just want the badges, use the Codes in the Forum. I got them in under an hour.

@Legrandzoom First of all, you shouldn't be rude. It's quite unbecoming. Second, Ray happens to be one of the best devs on any kong game I've played. He's constantly talking to players and actually listening to feedback. Also, if you read some of his comments, he's hilarious. @ray <3

@WhyteDem0n idk what you expected after talking trash about a game that is around for years and actually has a quite big community :) Its almost like people dont appreciate their game being trashtalked by people who only care about their profile points instead of the game itself. Rate it what you want and move on instead of posting your mental diarrhea here.

lol every negative comment on this "game" gets downvoted to hell. I'd put money on the devs paying people/doing it themselves on alt accounts
Caught red (downvote) handed. I don't ask the community to upvote or downvote anything. This game is what THEY have made it for the most part, so some of the ignorance because of badge warriors being posted here is insulting the user-base more than anything - and what they don't realize is that Kong Badges is done by Kongregate, not the developers. I didn't even know that the Kong community hated idle games getting badged until after the badges were created, but these 'professors' of game reviews seem to deem it that way.
I really am sorry (I'm Canadian, so it's true) that you see it from the perspective that you're bestowing here. Most of my comments are just for fun because I'm not taking it overly seriously and I enjoy the development and community of this project - should I be cowering and apologizing with template responses to every negative comment? I can't do anything to sway the people that don't take the time to delve into what the game and community actually provide. -Ray

Idle Online Universe - the best idle game out there. Why? Because it has loads of features and things to do, whilst also being multiplayer. This means you can make friends online! One of the best things about this game is the community. I've spent countless hours talking to people in the IOU discord, especially with my wonderful guild and for that matter, the empire that we've built. The game is f2p, and you'll notice the majority of people being f2p and being extremely far into the game. I've been playing for a long time - in fact, today marks my 1000th day!
So whether you're here for a good idle game or the badges, the point is to have fun and if you don't, then simply leave! It's that simple! (unless you have difficulties, then I pray for you).
5/5, fantastic game, the Ray is an absolute LEGEND! <3 <3 <3

If you can port it to a spreadsheet, it has no gameplay. I'm not a big fan of idle games, but I would say for its genre this game does pretty well.

Visually a great looking game. But I seemed to have a problem understanding what I needed to do (but that could just be me). And is it wrong that I seemed to enjoy the Renewable Energy event (idle game in an idle game) more than the base idle game itself? In general, idle games are not my thing and I won't dock the game for that. There are a lot of ways to upgrade and I did not even scratch the guild capabilities. Plus I am sure there are other things I never unlocked. So there could be a lot of diamond in this rough. But from my point of view, it seems like most other idle games.

This game seems good but theres quite a few problems/bugs I'm having. For example, I just started and it says I have an absurd amount of gold, somewhere in the billions. This wouldn't normally be a problem for me, but the game won't let me buy even the cheapest of upgrades. I see potential, but maybe a clearer intro and some bug fixes would help a lot.
Hi Barca,
I have not heard about that bug. If you recall when the gold appeared/actions that lead up to this occurrence, can you PM me those details? Thanks. -Ray

I dont know about this game if its idle universe shouldn't everything have some kind of idle to it. Like miners or wood choppers you can hire for small incomes at those. wondering about fishing but think im done now. There was no real explanation of what anything did or why we are even in this world. Still not real sure whats up with the whole card thing. confusing.

Won't connect, stuck on loading screen. Idle Online Universe just bounces up and down with patch notes flashing in yellow
Thousands upon thousands are online, so the server isn't offline. Do you have anything that might be blocking a connection? Russia has blocked millions of IP's (Not sure if this affects you) recently, but otherwise the issue still remains on your end if you're unable to connect to globally used servers, while the much greater majority are without issue. -Ray

if you use the codes you can get the badges done pretty quickly, codes seem to be valid for a week. I think that is the only positive thing I can say about this game, I can quit it quickly
