There is very little motivation to complete the missions the game being beatable with 0 of them completed and given their sluggish progress, low payoff and silly order. Other than that, and not minding a bit of grind, the game is enjoyable. The boss is a bit on the difficult side with a stage of some unfair attack pairings (napalm grenade+flame cannon) but is beatable with maxed perks and a few homing rocketeers). nice to see the car finally makes sense. 4/5

Needs a way to skip missions. I will only buy Grenadiers AFTER I've beaten the game. Maybe not even then. As such, the "Team up with 5 Grenadiers" is a bit of a problem. Actually, the same goes for Marksmen and Flamethrowers. So, yeah, mission skip.

You need to be able to toggle upgrades on/off.
Got the mission to let my grenadiers kill 10 enemies. but with flamethrower upgrade the kills don't count

when I get ahead of the achievements im locked out of them. like launch adreline 3 times. I had already gotten rid of it by the time I noticed it :(

The enemies are strong men that can shoot rifles and run at the same time, they can even have multiple bullet wounds and survive! But as soon as a knife gets close to them they just fall down and die.

Same problem as the first one: the fact that you can't disable some upgrades gets in the way of the missions sometimes

This game is like one giant trollo. You took the first one, nerfed the firepower, and added a unit even more useless than grenadiers. Flamethrower units. Either let us completely disable certain units, or stop adding ones that do nothing but reduce your team and troll. Fail

It's not as obvious as in game quality settings but the flash player itself has quality settings. So just Right click select quality low, medium, high and the lag problems should be ok.

When did games stop offering quality settings? When I have five guys shooting flames, the game lags SO bad!
I also agree that we should be able to have a priority setting for the squad, so that less helpful squad members get kicked out when better ones arrive.

Grenadiers used to be my least favorite unit last game... but these flamethrowers? Makes me feel like a freakin charizard!

It kind of ruins the game when there are missions that require you to take upgrades you don't want and only make the game harder to play. Which you can't cancel or inactivate. That was one of the complaints from the first game, and it's not been fixed here. That's just bad.

I love this game and the changes you made in regards to equipping things, but there really needs to be an option to turn off certain upgrades, in regards to ally soldiers. In the first game AA troops were one of the best to have a platoon of, but without the ability to turn off standard soldiers, it makes getting an ideal group rather difficult, unless you skip all group upgrades until AA.

And just like the first game, I find myself wishing I hadn't bought the grenadier squadmate. I thought "oh, no, this'll be different! It has an upgrade! He gets a flamethrower!" Nope. he still takes up valuable space on my team and doesn't kill anybody.

I've upgraded my Grenadiers to have flame throwers and now cannot complete the "Let your Grenadiers kill 6 enemies" quest. Is there any way around this?

Not bad, but not much different from the first one. Some new mechanics, but some new annoyances too. Flamethrowers for one, I do not like. Neither enemy nor ally. It's too bad this feels like nothing more than an expansion and not a new game. Could have been so much better; new upgrades, improved mechanics, more (controllable) chaos. I'm being VERY generous giving you a 4/5 for what should have been called Battalion Commander 1.5. Would love to see a 3rd one with completely revamped upgrades and etc (Think medieval, futuristic, fantasy.. I wouldn't mind commanding a squad of orcs wielding laser guns while throwing axes at 12 eyed space monsters... At least it's different.)

I got a mission survive 180seconds with double pistols, but how do I select them? I already had the Jackhammer before that came up!?

The enemies are a lot harder to kill with bullets, which does not make a lot of sense to me. I end up getting at least a dozen knife kills each run because the damage that my team does by shooting is not enough damage to kill a wave of enemies. It feels like a Halo knock off.
I enjoy having more of this game to play, but I feel like the design on the sequel is not as good as the first game. The bullets need to be more powerful, or the enemies need to have less HP, or the commander needs to fire faster, as possible fixes for this. To be honest, it feels like the Battalion soldiers fire a bit slower than the bad guys of the same caliber, and do less damage than the enemy, which makes this game feels as "rigged for super hard mode."
One last question: When an enemy soldier is on fire, why is he still able to run and shoot? Along with that, why is the fire completely not enough damage to kill a basic soldier, even when it burns for the entire duration?

I like it when these kind of games are challenging, but if you've played long enough and leveled everything up, it's a lot easier to finish the game. Right now, I feel like I have to play for a while to get to the end boss, then maybe get lucky with the fight.

how do i switch guns?
i have a mission that requires me to use the double pistol, but i cant figure out how to use it again?

Quick suggestion. Would be nice to see a hotkey for some kind of 'bunch up' command which makes you squad temporarily collapse into a much smaller area, then fan out again after a couple of seconds or so. Would be nice for those moments when the bullet hell become a bit TOO hellish.
