God I wish I could get a new mission right away when the old one is done. Not have to wait to the end of the run. And yeah, I sorta feel bad about suiciding (and it seems only planebombs work for this at the end). Then you are like "I just killed 300 of them soldiers, AGAIN?"

You have served me well, solider, but, you see, politicians want a team full of grenadiers and they offered me money and promotion. You go under that airstrike!

Yeah, this game seems to have the same problem that plagues the first game where your battalion is a spread out V and not getting any of them hurt becomes impossible the larger you get. It's a fun game, but in terms of a sequel, it doesn't feel like anything has improved from the first.

The end boss is pretty hard until you finish about 30 missions and get Fireproof Spray, with that he is easy. For the endless mode, I used Energy Shield, Fireproof Spray, Armor, M.R.E. Pack. If you don't have M.R.E. Pack, pick whatever, I went with Uranium Bullets. The easiest strategy is to pick only Marksmen and Rocketeers, you may have to restart a few times if the game overwhelms you before you got 2-3 of those. Then stay in teh upper half of the screen most of the time, to trigger hidden turrets. Whenever you get cornered, trigger your skill (I used Adrenaline Rush) to become invinicble (thanks to the Energy Shield perk) and move to the save half of the screen. Around 2200 meters I got bored and ran into a building to finish it and get the achievement.

Buying flamethrower also unlocks Grenadier. For best team only unlock Rocketeers until all badges you want. Easy way to complete destroy 10 Helicoptor or X enemies missions is to start endless in APC, it will only spawn special waves until APC dies so you will see helicopters every 100m or so, and more enemies than usual.

And this is a perfect game design, opposed to other recent games. You start playing and you know how to play. Without 10-min click-through tutorial. You focus on game challenge, not on game's stupidity and bad interface. You ragequit because it's too hard, not because you feel you waste your time.

The hard badge isn't so much hard, as it is luck based. My perks were Armour, APC, Uranium core bullets, and energy shield. The truck was just for the initial army building. Unlike normal mode, on endless you're thrown into tanks, helicopters, and everything with no build up period. So I used the truck to just dodge around as many bullets as I could, and went straight for the cages to start up my army. The luck part comes in right there, because you don't want any riflemen. Even after the truck explodes, if I busted up a cage and saw a grenadier or a riflemen, I skipped them and waited for marksmen or rockets. And just use your special whenever things look tough because you'll be invincible for a short period. Once the screen is cleared it becomes easy again and by the time you need the special again, odds are it'll replenish. It took me a couple times, my first attempt getting me to 1922, but that was just foolishness on my part. Good luck!

Usually for a successful sequel, developers listen to the players and make improvements. This sequel is basically just a hard-mode version of the first, where the developers did the opposite of what was asked? "Don't like that you can't shoot backwards, but the enemy can? How about we keep that, but now also spawn enemies behind you!" It takes 3x bullets to kill each enemy, enemies spawn behind you, all enemies and their bullets move faster... this is nothing but a more frustrating and grindy version of the first.

Actually I believe that this game is less grindy than the first game. In the first game there were annoying waves where a complete wave of cars were driving towards you which made it a bit annoying. To my surprise, this game didn't include them! It was more about skill to survive in this one. My overall rating for this is 4/5

"You know what everyone loved about the first game? How things would end up behind you and shoot you from behind while you can only shoot forward. What if we just made things spawn BEHIND people this time?" - The developers of this game, probably.

I had to pump extra power into my CPU in order to beat the boss, otherwise the lag made it unbeatable.
As for the game, you should be able to toggle what units to use or not.

By the time I got to the mission "survive 180 seconds with double pistol," I hadn't had the double pistol for like forty runs. Is there a way to remove upgrades? Otherwise, it's terribly set up, and it locks you out of things.

I had a full squad of marksmen and they all fired 2 shots at the same enemy infantryman. I guess they believe in overkill.

For the hard badge use the adrenaline skill and ONLY when a helicopter shows up. Also to get the best out of it you need to have the medi kit and salvation perks equipped so it heals everybody. Pick up as many marksmen and rocketeers as you can too.
