Full screen bombings are a cheap shot. More so the case when the fact its happening makes it lag while you try and get between them.

Like many games, this game is fun despite (and sometimes because of) a bunch of glitches, many of them capable of breaking the game. Things I have encountered regularly: Every tenth missile shot by anyone spiraling merrily off to the left side, not hitting anything. Maximum squad size being capped at 1 if the AA specialist is unlocked before the Grenadier. The shotgun firing so rapidly that it actually crashes flash. All battle sounds, some battle sounds, or one specific battle sound randomly turning off. Music glitching out. Every rescued soldier acting like a Rifleman, despite their actual job. Skills activating 2, 4, or 8 times from one press.
There were more but I can't remember them.

Good game, just a couple things: I would have liked to see riflemen replaced by auto riflemen upon purchase of that upgrade. Also, in endless mode I noticed that in the latter stages, every 100m or so 4 or 5 of my guys would lose about half of their health; dunno if this is a glitch.

You shouldn't be able to be killed if you still have people in your squad... if they're willing to serve you even after you run them over, they should be willing to jump in front of you to take a bullet, get run over by a jeep, or get blown to bits by a grenade.

Great game, kept me entertained for an hour or 2. Suggestion for the sequel: preferred targeting options for the missiles (e.g. strongest target, vehicles, fastest target etc)

This is a really good game and actually a rather playable game despite being bullet hell. The graphics, music and SFX are brilliant - the GUI intuitive and pretty response (useful in a game like this). There is no story line or characterisation or even progression, just an endless stream of fodder (yours and theirs). I'm not even sure about the 4/5 due to a major flaw in the game that apparently isn't going to be fixed - the complete inability to unset upgrades... best be damned sure those upgrades are going to help all the way - but they're not... do not take grandiers or riflemen (and definitely don't unlock grandiers) - that way you get more automatic riflemen and missle launchers! Definitely better later on. Other than that a good game - but a serious game dampner like that can really put a crease in the return rate... after all you'er only doing because the dev. screwed you, right?? Oh, well better luck next time dev.'s.

Has anyone figured out how you're supposed to survive when the entire screen is full of enemy airstrike, there is a V of pink cars and suddenly everything lags? And then it happens twice in a row? I can usually squeak out with me and maybe 1 or 2 of my men but usually can't survive the next wave. I need a strategy to get past that part

Wonderful game. My own concerns at the moment would be the very strange difficulty scaling in normal mode. There would be runs where every other wave would be a middle lane carpet bombing with five cars coming down the lane, effectively wiping my teams. This get particularly annoying around 1000+meters, when seems to be a decrease in cages that spawn. I was only able to beat normal because there was only one of those cars/carpet bombing waves.
Other than that, it is an amazing game!

Enjoyable game. The "heroic dash" skill really didn't seem to work well for me, always leaving me in more trouble than I started!
I got the hard badge with the napalm skill and missiles, collecting as many AA specialists as possible. I got the hard badge without getting the "nanobots" or "salvation" powerups. "Future Armor" was very useful though.

any particular reason why cages are insti-death? I understand that they are barbed after all but last I checked you don't die from stepping on a single spike you'll be cussing but not dead

Fun game. Another suggestion I would have would be a change of environment background. Instead of staring at dirt every time perhaps add a mountain/snow environment, a beach front, trenches etc. would really add to the gritty war feel

I see that this was made by the same team as Band of Heroes, but it has no story, no character, and therefore almost no humour. It's rather repetitive, too.

Rather than slowing down the frame rate, lag is simply skipping frames entirely, as such, even at low quality, as soon as I bought the car I can no longer even play the game at all.

I am greatly amused by the fact that, once you become an officer (2LT), you immediately get the option to use a vehicle instead of having to walk everywhere. Art imitates life, indeed.

My one complaint is with the 'retarded achievements' ("missions"): achievements that are given to you after you already did that like, 15 minutes ago.

game is ok - nothing like helplessly watching your rockets go all the way across the screen to blow up crates just before youre run down by a pink jeep

slight improvement: if I have an injured team member and I find a new one it should probably replace the injured one, or at least use him to replenish energy

It would be really great if you could sync your squad's shots up. Like so you can dodge and weave through the bullets and then when you are in front of the enemy, have all your grenadiers shoot their grenades at once

I had some kind of weird glitch. My men were invincible with the exception of myself, but then one class (like all of my marksmen) would suddenly have 50% health. The sudden health drop was always there, but the invincibility was only when I was using the double pistols on endless mode with all upgrades. And it was a piece of cake, at least.

This game is great but it's too difficult. I've been playing for hours and got most of the upgrades unlocked and I still couldn't beat the game. Too much grinding kills the fun.

you shouldn't have to go and touch your freed soldiers so that they join your group. If they're your soldiers, they'd automatically to the group, wouldn't they? Other than that I agree with SaltSquared and jambola2.
