Playable. But myriads of bugs and sometimes bad game design keep you from completing the missions. Also, apparently the developers lost interest, or they think all the bugs look funny, and that's why they don't fix them.

it seems that theres a problem with the missions. they dont register when they should. my 500 m mission when my best run was nearly 700 m. and my 8 unit squad registered the 5th time i reached 8

If the FX disappears (eg after fast start), you can bring it back by pausing and clicking the FX button in upper right hand corner twice.

I wish that my character didnt shoot to the top left hand corner of the screen as soon as my mouse strays even a millimetre outside of the game box. It should auto pause, or remember where you left the screen. I have died from this more times than from the enemies

Amazing game! Truely a masterstroke but i have a few complaints, you should be able to turn off some of the skills (Like the granader) because every time i get him he isn't as effective as any other troop. but honestly i would of added more skills to it too (not saying there isn't enough, just more is better. like increased knife range or something.) i almost got creds just to give to you. but im poor. need to pay rent :P

"run x meters in the endless mode in one game" These missions seem to be broken, they just stop counting. Or is there a trick? ATM I have two, for 500 and 1000. Can't complete them. :(

Grenades from the "Attached Grenade Launcher" upgrade don't seem to count toward the "Kill 15 Enemies With Grenades" mission.

perhaps there could be an upgrade that makes the grenadier not useless? Like say, the ability to turn on/off a unit that rarely kills more than one enemy at a time, being essentially an infantry that fires at 1/10th the speed?

Yay! I destroyed everything that belongs them as 1st Lieutenant. They should've to make me Colonel immediately. I believe I can John Rambo! Napalm Wave was sucks. "MIGs on the way! Airstrike confirmed! Missiles launched! Target acquired!" (RA2 Fans+)

best weapon is shotgun by Far. best allies are riflemen at start replaced by automatic riflemen. do NOT unlock grenade/sniper/AA allies.

Heroic Dash should make you invulnerable but not increase your running speed. As it is, Heroic Dash should read: "Survive the next 4 seconds, then DIE!!!"

Achievement: one man army impossible: complete normal mode without picking up any allies (excluding ones you get at the start)

Some Thoughts
- could make the enemies not shoot at you from behind as we have no way of killing them. Maybe getting the enemy to return from the front as they are not killed would be abetter option.
- the "start with a car" is not very advantageous I believe as you miss out on score and money if you are starting early and want to level up and upgrade stuff. Would be interesting if cars were changed into mobile tank vehicles.
- empty tanks or APC and trucks could be littered across the field, allowing you to "load" everyone onto the vehicles to give them further protection. trucks could give minimal protection yet is more agile and faster, tanks could be the slowest yet pack huge fire power.
- an option to save troops which you have rescued but not been able to add to your squad would be great. ie include a button or hot key which allows you to cycle through the available troops you rescued, select them and they parachute onto the battlefield for you to pick up.

Easily done if you ignore the troop type upgrades and save until homing missile for a full squad of missiles.. Good game anyway! Enjoyed it :)

How the hell are you suppose to run 500m with single leader at once. I can't even manage to kill off my squad before dying, because they are so much more sturdy than i am.

Well, the game is basically a different version of a top-down shooter, which is nice, I like that type of game. Actually my biggest complaint has to be the lag... killed me more times then anything. I would like to see some kind of formation changing option though, could really help with strategy, but lag issue first.

Now that I got the badge, I just wish for a way to turn the "start with the car" ability off. I'd rather start slow and build up my team normally.

Full screen carpet bombing + full wave of cars + bullets = Extremely cheap. I realize this is probably where the developers intended people to use Heroic Dash, but as many have pointed out, all you do is run ahead into the next wave. Can we at least get some invincibility/bullet clearing from the bomb or napalm specials? Something to help balance the fact that the enemy can go fullscreen bullet hell AND bombs AND cars AND a helicopter at any given moment? How about special moves powering up based on how many enemies you've killed instead of just on a timer? At least that way when you're dashing into a heavy situation you can build meter quickly to get out again.

The last two badges weren't too difficult. Simply don't buy any ally/fireteam upgrades till you can get the Drilling, AA Specialist and Future Armor. This leaves you with only riflemen and AA. Concentrate on getting as many missions as possible done to get the rest of the upgrades quicker. Avoid heroic dash as much as possible, even with all rifle and AA it can put you in really bad situtations.

One thing that sorta bugs me during the car frenzy are the enemy bullets. They seem to maintain their normal speed + the speed of my vehicle. XD

Hit box for the spikes at the bottom of the towers is absolutely ridiculous! I've been killed so many times by walking within.. like five metres of it

If people are having trouble with the hard badge, I had max upgrades and used the rockets as my weapons with the original special skill. When you're in the car try to hit as many cages as possibly and after the car phase is over only pick up soldiers that have the machine gun, rocket, or sniper. Also if the leader has low health use your special because he will gain health off a special once you have the upgrade.

This game runs pretty damn poorly on my computer, and I have a higher end rig. Might want to look into a bit of optimization there, friend.
