I love this game but I will say this there needs to be a hierachy of preferred soldiers. There is nothing more frustrating than having two vanilla soldiers in your squad freeing an AA specialist and having the AA specialist walk off because your squad is full. Ideally what I'd like to see is a list of the units that we could arrange to our liking so if the squad is full and a unit is freed that unit is compared to the list. If the soldier freed is higher on the list than a soldier in the squad the new unit replaces the current in squad unit who is ranked lowest in the players list.

This is one of those rare occasions where "endless mode" kills a game. That hard badge was a boring hard slog as there is no way of speeding up the pace of the game except through the hero's rush, which usually just leaves you pointlessly exposed from all angles, running ridiculously into the midst of the enemy.
The game would be a lot better if you could increase its pace, and if when you finish the normal game the missions did not require you to end a run to discover a new mission. Then at least you'd feel like you were achieving something as you spent half an hour on auto-pilot for the hard badge.

The hard badge is just lame. it takes me like 20min to get 2500m. and its just sitting there not getting 1shotted by some crap .. as i've been now 2 times at 2800

All mouse control games need to pause if the cursor leaves the screen, not send your units flying toward the top left corner uncontrollably.

My soldiers are invincible. I got the mission to "run 500 meters with single leader at once," but since I start with soldiers in the team already I needed to kill them to complete this mission. So I put them in the line of fire, they took no damage. I put them directly beneath the air raid bombs, no damage. Randomly some of them will lose half their health as soulcross mentioned. I think the grenadiers and riflemen don't have this invincibility. Oh well, can't do the missions but the hard badge should be a breeze.

Great game. It's just one glitch, after achieving the max rank, my teammates won't die. Olmost immortal. Except for grenadier and me. Also, it would be nice, if you could turn on or off all the upgrades.

there's something off about the way damage is received.
actively trying to get riflemen killed, cos they suck compared to the rest of the team. sometimes damage they take is transfered to other team members. don't know if this happens for other types too, only noticed it because i'm trying to get them killed, and it's virtually impossible.

An option to disable the car would be nice. With the lag issues in general the car just makes it worse. I have no clue what's going on half the time, one second I'm starting out the next I'm just a couple hundred meters up with a dead car.

The hard achievement is difficult for me only because I get bored and stop paying attention and then do something stupid like get run over by a parked tank.

Liked the game, though the beginning was really slow and the sounds get frustrating fairly early on. 3.5/5 BUG: Marksman not doing any damage. Ran over 1200 meters with 7 marksman and didnt aim at anything... All bullets went right through everything without ever killing anything.

only thing that really frustrates me is the party wipe waves here there are 3 airstrikes and a large number of MG cars even if my leader doesn't get hit Usually results in 4-5 soldiers dying if you don't have future armor even with future armor 1-3 still end up dying.

Love the game. Having an option to choose what allies you have active would be awesome, as well as having a minigun that felt somewhat powerful, as it is it feels like a pea shooter.

Great game, but I seem to be having a strange problem. After I obtained the furture armor upgrade (+100% health) my allies just started randomly losing half or more of their health. Not too detrimental given their higher health, but still really annoying. Other than that I loved the game and would only suggest some kind of close ranks ability so your troops aren't forced to take an airstrike.

Also when you have a nearly dead trooper and you release another of the same type the injured one should get medi-vac'd out and the healthy one replace them.

Couples of advice for Hard badge:
1. Don`t waste your money for any other active skills, except basic airstrike.
2. Don`t waste your money for minigun - it`s awfully weak.
3. Missile launcher works best with 30% reloading skill, it is too slow without it.
4. While riding a vehicle, try gathering soldiers, it`s very useful in endless mode, especially before cars riding after enemy airstrike.
5. The skill that enable you to achieve hard badge is called - Future armor, with it you could not be worried too much about your soldiers (for example I make it in endless mode to 3000m. withiut losing any of my soldiers form the beginning.
6. Try position your soldiers at a half of the screen, they will shoot in enemies that you don`t see.
7. Best weapon till rocketlauncher is shotgun - its wide and in good killing.
8. If you have been killed too much in endless mode, train in normal mode, it would be easy, but profit you much.

i find it kinda annoying that when you free the solders he waits and not join until you touch them, but if you'r team is full they run straightly in to the enemy.

died at 2988 because a wall of nearly indestructible jeeps while 3 planes carpet bombed the area. Endless mode itself isn't that hard, just time consuming

In endless mode, every 200 meters or so, half my battalion spontaneously loses half their health, even if there are no enemies on the screen. It doesn't even appear to be localized to a certain area -- the affected soldiers are spread out across the whole rank and appear to be random.

this game is good but slightly repetitive...you level up,gain abilities,and run to a certain extent.If you beat the game,you unlock a mode that lets you run forever and that's it.There should probably be more modes,such as re-fighting the bosses(with them having more health)or like a challenge mode where you could only use certain abilities that help you and must use abilities that make it more difficult in some way...but until you actually beat the whole game(100%),it is pretty good

Improvements: Multiple maps with interesting bosses kind of like Super Monkey. All 3 special weapons can be used. Different squad types have different colors. Release squad members and different recruitment combinations give different team buffs/abilities. I also really like SaltSquared's idea of grouping squad to evade fire.

nice graphics, smooth animation. but the sound design!? The shooting sounds really gets on my nerves. maybe loop different samples depending on how many's in your squad?

tips for hard badge: 1) the colonel badge upgrades are a necessity. 2) early on, concentrate on building your team, especially when driving around (you won't get far). 3) keep an eye on your team's health, and try to distribute damage accordingly. 4) i never used Heroic Dash, just because i would always end up in a worse position than the one I was trying to escape and dying shortly after. 5) keep trying! the 'waves' repeat themselves, so you'll get the hang of things.

if you make it the first 1000m in endless and understand the concept of how to dodge the airstrike when it comes you will be able to easily get the 3000m achievement
