So...on level 20 do you build a ton of anti-ground towers, sell them all and build AA towers for the last few waves, then sell the AA towers you just built for wave 44, then sell the ground towers you JUST built for wave 45? Because those replenishing jammers just shrugged off 20+ cannon towers, with missiles on the next wave...

ok here is walktrought to level 8 just build so much those gun turrets you can and like 2 glue guns but save 500 money before air units dont build support structures when you finish wave before air units sell every structure and let both air waves go when its over just build 2 glue guns one at end and one at start then whole map gun turrets along the route that should complete level

@Dirksen05 @ moment there is still no way to be sure what side the air units will arrive from untill the fix promised from devs is sorted but they will allways enter the screen in line with 1 of ur towers or buildings

The base is getting damage when you activate overload. And it is annoying that you have to play the level once just to know from where the damn air units are comming.

Love this game, but the thing that really frustrates me is that you never know exactly where the air untis will be apearing. Sometimes you can be extremly unlucky that way.

Well the game is really fun! Hard and addictive, however sometimes it's just too damn hard. As I like chalange you might want to tweak those flyiing fortresses, or the amounts of units in waves with shields. I can try up to 10 times, than get back for another 10, and thats it. Its good to have some very hard peeks in the game, but if so many people get frustrated you might see in to it just a bit. Not that you shold make it an ordinary defence game, which are plain old boring, but if people decide to sell all turrets before an air strike to save money - it means that the game is hard enough to provoke exploits of the logic behind it.

DaHammer lvl 18 i found best tactic was to leave the front area clear for AA towers and ground assult towers more towards first gate also use the wall factory to make the ground units take the long way round (make sure they are two walls deep to prevent drilling) then when air waves are over sell the lot and put up a s**t load of ur best towers :)

@DaHammer: Go for upgradeding your basic guns to lv3 by building 3x ammo depots - if you manage that you are over the hill probably...

Major problem with later levels: Airstrike has no retimer if you sell/buy air fields. Need to add a universal retimer to it

guys stop crying about lvl "8" (im on lvl 16...), the thing i like about this game is that its HARD so it makes u rethink tactics and drives you to attack again with a different attack formation. practise makes perfect

For those saying level 8 is too hard... It is beatable, I got a perfect, although it took many tries, and I have most of the upgrades. First thing is, don't build anti-air at all. There are only two waves, and they're so close to the end, I was able to just repair through the first air wave, and then sell as needed before the towers were destroyed when the giant air ship comes through. I used only the basic guns until after the air waves were done, as everything else is more expensive, and hurts more if the airships destroy them. Also, build a wall factory about 10 or so waves in, build at least 4 walls at the bottom to make the path longer, giving your basic guns more time to deal damage. After the air waves, I just built a couple of slow-guns to help with the second to last wave, as this always is the hardest, IMO. The final wave is usually destroyed very quickly, with all the guns near the entrance. Hope this makes sense and helps some of you.

Level 8 is way too hard. Wave 16 and 17 level most of you're buildings even if you have a shield. Tactical strike barely damages the mothership's shield. This paves the way for wave 18 to storm you're base without effort. I bought even bought a wall factory to shield but... level 8 is just too hard.

phew stuck on map 14. attack planes beat the tar out of my mounted guns and i can't tech to AA laser/stun gun combo fast enough to kill them, esp when i have to defend against cluster bots at the same time. tips on tower composition for this map, anyone?

Oh yeah.. six 3rd level ammo + 3rd level machine gun can take out everything! (some speeders with accelrating shield might get through).... 6 3rd level ammo + 2 3rd level air machineguns can take out all air (Add some range too, so area is covered)

Finished the whole game with perfect. Hardest level to get perfect in my oppinion was 20. had to use 4 shields for the gate for it to survive (it was quite undestructable after that :p)
Great game! (Final tasks are kind of weak though. Really wanted to see what special happens there and I got task, that halves the requirements of all others... I had done all other tasks by that time, so it was kind of useless.)
Key for huge amounts of money is reciclying centers.. Collect 2000 and then build three of those... And money is no longer a problem. In some leves it is hard to find a good time to collect 2000.. But anyways, in the end you end up with 50k or more and nothing to do with it...
And ammo+range for lasers - air guys die like flies

lol, all you people crying about AA towers being weak are just not trying hard enough. there's more than one way to skin a cat. build AA towers, build them on the side your attacks are coming from, and build as many as you can afford until they reach the next level. then you can begin to shave down the number of towers to get back some of your cash. survive long enough to get 2k gold and you can build 3 recyclers and pump out cash like crazy. also... use buy, build, sell, repeat on the wall factory to drop lots of blocks without needing to wait for the regen time.

i figured that irradiators+stunguns+shield(+other 3 supports) are by far the BEST anti air. irradiators do LOTS of dmg each hit. build some of those and the air dies before it can attack. flying fortresses need some more shots, thats where the stunguns and shileds are needed most. get ammo and bacon there too and maximise the dmg. put maxup comm there and it is even more.

About AA problem:
Guys, don't try to finish missions perfectly. Get a win, get an exp, go to next.
You will unlock new towers (AA Laser), Health boost for towers, bonus starter money...
On 8 level, if you sell all towers before these 2 hard air waves and will not build any AA tower, you will have enough money for perfect win.

Using a power on super fortresses helps. Airstrike to damage shields or even overcharge. If you don't think you can drop them, then sell your stun towers to hurry them across. Shields/AA at the front should hold their attention for the most part.

Tower's descriptions should be more accurate and tell about their properties (damage, splash radius, etc). F.E. There is no info about the Recycle plant - I still don't know what's the income bonus and if it is worth to built it.

@nmanvi: i'm pretty sure you don't get exp from repeating a mission. it might be that you do gain exp if you've beaten your personal best on the mission, in which case you'd gain exp equal to the difference (i think this is how gemcraft chapter zero does it?) personally i'm in favor of exp systems like this because it means you can't grind on the same levels over and over again to get better. forces you to change your strategy if you want to proceed.
