Under rating threshold (show) Level 8 is not impossible. Level 15 is giving me a bit of trouble though. I beat the first 8 levels without much trouble, and I didn't build a single AA tower. I think some people are freaking out because they let some air units by. They don't harm your base, only your towers.

Under rating threshold (show) everyone complain bout AA here the best hint : dont build AA , they useless anyway focus on repairing or sell / rebuild ive get through all levels , fun and balancing game tho its true, AA should be stronger or just removed lol

Under rating threshold (show) Very well balanced with interesting new concepts for enemies. The wall tunnelers in particular, I have never seen before. The level of difficulty can be infuriating at times, but this is definitely a first class TD.

Under rating threshold (show) Update to my last comment; since "tasks" grant additional XP and that can vary depending on how you play a level, it'd still be nice to have a readout of how much of a level's "base" XP (i.e. what you earn by killing enemies and preserving gates and your base" you've managed to earn. Which if you've earned a "perfect" rating pretty much just means the enemies killed XP. You...you know what I mean. Basically I want some indication of whether it would be a good idea to replay a level that I've already won "perfectly" to squeeze in a couple more XP.

Under rating threshold (show) Other than that post, this game is fantastic! Defending against air units takes a bit of getting used to, but when you get it right the AA Guns maxed out in combination with the Stun Guns are reasonably good. Plus by that point you have other options to help against air units (try Irradiator, Missile Tower (level 2/3), even airstrike is pretty good at defending against air attacks!

Under rating threshold (show) I'd like a readout of my XP on a given level compared to the maximum possible XP. Because you can get a "perfect" rating on a level but not get maximum XP if, say, some of the enemies escaped.

Under rating threshold (show) It would be better if you could upgrade your guns so they could do more damage, or using the experience upgrade your weapons in the main screen. The AA guns suck at killing planes, the machine guns cant even kill a grenadier by itself. The damage is just way to low.

Under rating threshold (show) There is no possible way that the AA towers are balanced...even with them at level 2 and a bunch of them the air units mission 8 were just either too numerous or to powerful(I am going with the latter) Sure you could build a bunch of them but then the ground guys would just wreck face.

Under rating threshold (show) Your best bet for this game is to try and attain all challenges. Challenges unlock new tech. Also, each tech requires a certain amount of basic tech before they can be accessed. All of the higher tier tech follows this. eg. 7-8 AAguns is out performed by 4 AAguns II upgradeable when you create a wall builder. 7-8 AAguns = 1200 4 AAguns II = 600 + 150 (Wall Builder). Try to balance how many to build and what to build.

Under rating threshold (show) I pass level 8! Look how: Make some turrets to defend from ground units only, then some slow towers to slow down the ground. In this level make no anti air. It sucks. With 4-5 levels before air levels stop building, just gather money. Air levels will kill many of your tower. After the air levels, build lots of basic tower +4 slow towers here and there. Make no canons because they suck. Good luck!

Under rating threshold (show) aa towers costs 75 a piece and they still dont fend off the air units...a bit redundant if we still end up repairing the towers even with the aa towers...

Under rating threshold (show) Nice visuals and great interface, but the towers are not too good. Air turrets cause infinitissimal damage. It's easier to air strike air units than buy a horde of turrets. The cannon fires way too slow. It fires at the past position of any unit, 90% of most units simply outrun the blast. Comm tower? Still don't see the use. On map 5 the last enemy defeated my base at one strike, with the map full of machine guns and a few cannons. THere is a lot to balance in this game. It was fun though till it made me angry.

Under rating threshold (show) Oops, and forgot, the stun towers constantly targeting the same enemy renders them pretty much useless against the speedy mass attacks. Have them target ones who AREN'T stunned, plz.

Under rating threshold (show) Add me to the list of folks unhappy with the aircraft. They are ridiculously overpowered. And no, you can't just "build more anti-air" if you're constantly repairing from the stupidly overblown damage. Also, what is WITH the slow turn time for the turrets?! By the time my stupid gun turns to face the bad guy, he's long gone. Please fix, and it will make the game much more enjoyable and challenging, instead of beating-your-head-against-the-wall frustrating.

Under rating threshold (show) The solution with level 8 mission is just to sell everything during the last 2 waves of air units. And don't bother buying AA for the 2 choppers on the early wave.

Under rating threshold (show) @BifernGTW: It's not usual to try the missions some times. Only for 2 missions i needed 2 or more trys. It also doesn't make much sense to play again and again to get exp or challenges, it's already long enough to get most of them.

Under rating threshold (show) The AA-Turrets are baltantly under powered I have no idea why the developer won't fix this. I think he needs to remember people won't play a game they deem to difficult and this could result in a large loss of revenue for him/her/them, and I think him/her/them should seriously think about that

Under rating threshold (show) this game plays and feels much worse than the original Canyon Defense :( it's too unimaginative and sometimes just plain boring... instead of letting me choose how to play, this game is designed to play only how its author wanted me to play it >:( i expected A LOT MORE! please don't release unifinished sequels, make it so you could be proud of it!

Under rating threshold (show) The concept is very nice, but the difficulty is too high. And in mission 6, the air attacks come from the bottom of the screen whereas it is specified that it should come from the same side as the ground attacks. Anti-air should definitely be better : more damage and more HP. Or you should gain more money from ennemies

Under rating threshold (show) Creator should really do some serious rebalancing. It's good if the lvls are challenging, but after 10 times trying various tactics on lvl 8 and still failing i do have enough of that game.
