I've got 10 Brilliant and 5 Excellent awards and feel like I've fully played the game. There are only a few small things I'd like to see implemented in the INEVITABLE expansion. • Hotkey for Fireball. • Remove the ornamental bar on the wave roster. (It was the only "funny" thing in the UI. The heavy bar should be above or below the group, not through it.) ••• I thoroughly enjoyed this game and found it nearly as addictive as Elements. The hoarder mentality kicked in as I started getting the incremental bonuses. (However, this aspect made the game easier as I progressed rather than more difficult...particularly after I had all the maps unlocked. That one aspect was kind of "upside down.") If the thief bosses could be just a slight bit slower it would make those levels more doable...I thought they were a bit fast. I couldn't even fireball them fast enough. Anyway, more levels, more monsters, more towers, more game. I'm ready!

I don't know why this game has such a high rating, it's not bad but I've played much better td games. For example gemcraft, it has more options and is much longer than this game. Gemcraft is more fun to play as well. 4/5

On some levels, even if you kill all enemies and leak no gems, you still can't get a Brilliant medal. That kinda bugs me. Otherwise, very nice, agree that ninjas with gems should be visible.

Well as everyone else has already commented on everything that is to be said, including that everything is great and that Ninjas are slightly overpowered in comparison to everything else.
I thought that an great addition to this game would be a difficulty slider. So that those people who want a harder game can have a harder game, and those that don't can still play at the current difficulty.

kongregate should have a "needs badges" button and then every week or earlier just add badges for games that have the highest number of people that clicked said button... With that in mind... this game needs badges :P

I know it has been posted a thousand times already but I really think kongregate should get rid of this new comment system or add recents tab. hopefully they are already working on fixing this.

I got a bug on Level 13, killed a guy with my gem outside the map, it didnt get taken, and nor is able to get taken by the enemys

I'd like to see some kind of "Well Done" message for completing all the levels... and maybe some in-game achievements - otherwise, this is excellent.

I usually don't like to play TD games because the controls and upgrade system are too complicated and they just aren't my kind of game, but this one has pretty simplistic controls and upgrade system, which makes it fun. I really like this game, even though i don't care much for the genre. 5/5

Some advice: don't spend all your time upgrading one tower, instead build all your towers in the beginning, then upgrade later. This way, all your towers will be around the same level instead of having some strong towers and some weak towers that can't really do anything. Also put some points into the meteor spells, they are really useful for some enemies (especially ninjas) Great game overall,

Great tower defense game with a good set of ideas in it, it's only letdown being it's a little too easy. Well worth playing, tho.

I figured the solution to the "last boss is a ninja and gets to the gem in a single cloak" would be to use mana crypts to disarm the boss, but that doesn't work. I managed to disarm a ninja champion and he still turned invisible - maybe the disarm took effect after the invisibility, but even then I think it should remove the cloak. It would also make the mana crypt not completely useless (does anyone ever feel like they could use more mana?)
Great game, very fun, but could be more difficult overall, and brilliant ratings should be made less frustrating. In most maps it's incredibly easy, but ninja boss makes it very difficult unless you get lucky on freezes and fears - and even then they shrug it much more quickly than any other unit.

5/5 I love this game, definitely my new favorite TD game. One thing that I think needs to be added in though is hot keys. Multiple times I have been so close to getting a brilliant but I couldn't drop in my meteor fast enough to kill the monsters before they reached my nest. However with hot keys it could make dropping towers and using spells much easier. Over all a very good game, job well done

4/5 not bad. I liked the WoW / warcraft esque towers. Only thing annoying about this is the ninjas like everyone else already stated...perhaps if the meteor knocked them out of cloak so your towers could then attack them it'd be better.

5/5. Really had a good feel to it. Even though It had only 3 towers, the game was still extremely fun and simplistic(but this did not make it too easy or hard!). The fantasy element I liked quite alot in this game. The upgrades and subclasses to towers made it fantastic as well! I hope for a sequel.

If you're having trouble on getting brilliant on lvl14, here's what I did:
Since the ninja champion on lvl14 is the only one that you can't outright kill with fully loaded meteor strikes, we need to do a lot of damage before he disappears. Basically, you use a Fearful Crypt to freeze/fear him, and use a Catapult Den to do the damage. Position the catapult one square behind the crypt to get the timing right. This is easier to do on the left side, so make sure you have more towers on the right side so the ninja boss shows up on the left (I think that's how it works).

Thieves are definitely overpowered as they are right now. As BlackPigeon said, they should appear when they grab a gem

Really good game, but if it had either more missions or a free play mode, that would be nice. I really like how the turret system is, but having another turret or two wouldn't hurt.
