Champion ninja on last stage are just **** - I only miss lvl 14 brillant but That invisble ninja has the time to cross all the mpa take a gem then go middle map before being visible to my tower. how the hell is it supposed to be fun ? So yes I've the fully upgraded meteor BUT 1st it's totally stupid (no strategy at all) second a little lag or just and ninja touch my gem cause of his speed and lvl gem are easy to get. 2 nd time I lose at wave 50 (I'm lvl 25 ... boring)

As for enemies, the only ones that have EVER posed a threat to me are the blade dancers and the ninjas. My entire playing strategy is built around preventing ninja's from getting to my jewels, in fact. Nothing else poses a threat. That sucks, because the others have potential. Everything else should get a boost in health, so that there is a challenge from them as well, and you have to place towers with them in mind. The blade dancers should have their health decreased, because it is so difficult to prepare for them.
And finally, screw the ninja champion! It is stupid that his smoke bomb can cover him for the entire trip to the Jewels! The only way to defeat him is to use meteor shower, which doesn't even work unless you fully upgrade your manna, decrease the manna cost to use it, and increase it's power. Ninja champion should have his speed decreased greatly, or his smoke bomb time decreased.

I happen to be a huge fan of TD games, and this one is most certainly in the top concerning enjoyment and game concept. You do, however, have some work to do in the area of game balance.
Temples and crypts are far, far easier to get off the ground than dens. Both are able to kill an enemy on their own, without any help. However, the den fires far to slow to be the first tower you put into play on a level, which almost always means that it won't get enough exp to do significant damage. In EVERY possible situation on every map, the den can be replaced with a temple or crypt to give a greater advantage. As for the balance between the crypts and the temples, that is well done. Both remain relatively equal through their entire upgrade tree.

BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG
mission 12, wave 2 ----> you see the next wave block-
wave 2 still ---> you see wave 3-
wave 2 still ---> you see wave 4-
wave 2 close to third ---> you see: wave 3, 1 bard-1 knight-
wave 2 close to third still ---> you see: wave 4, 1 bard-1 knight. the two looks having the same number of bards and knights-
wave 3 ---> you think wave 3 is wrong, but it appears exactly what it shows(the normal.)-
wave 4 ---> THE SAME THING HAPPENS-
wave 5 ---> end of bug

Hotkey needed for meteor!!! Im level 34,meteorskills max,and i hate in level 14,that i go through 49 level, and in the end the boss run through everything, and stole my gem. I cant stop him,the tower cant see him,and i cant click so fast with the meteor...i hate that level, the others are complete, except this...:@ 14th level should be the last?

Another great hint:
The Den Towers and the Temples don't have a "charge" time to hit, so when you upgrade your tower, it directly shoots.
Knowing about this.. when you have some sort of hard enemy in front of your upgradeable BURNING TEMPLE or BALLISTA DEN upgrade it directly after it shot the enemy.
These towers will directly shoot another time when they got upgraded, so you can hit twice with a burning temple for example when some knight bothers you.

I'm having trouble with level 14 brilliant ... does someone know a guide with the best way to beat this level perfectly?
---
If you have trouble with assassins, try building some crypts -> fear towers. The more you have the higher is the chance to hit (which means that the "run back" chance is higher). Don't make 1-2 high ones, make 5-6 smaller ones.
A great hint: Set skill points on "blue" until you can upgrade your crypts with 'freeze' bonus.
This a great way to beat those and even ninjas - but some luck must be on your side.
---
Another hint:
When your towers fail to hit an assassin, don't use meteor! The chance of hitting is also 50%, so better try Frenzy. This helps most and gives higher freeze/fear chance.

Assasins are harder then ninja, yes, but not harder then last ninja at 14 lvl. They can be scared or frozen when your tower missed.

Great game. Fun and challenging without being impossible. I love the diversity in play style and the different tower types. I sort of wish there was a third tier of towers at level 8 tower. Maybe make the game a bit harder for that sort of thing. Perhaps longer. And definitely add hotkeys. I give this game a 9.5/10 (-0.5 for limited replayability). Keep it up!

Brilliant game! it proofs that in a TD game there is no need to have 50 different types of towers for it to be good.
Cursed Treasure: Don't Touch My Gems is simple , challenging , unique and most of all very very enjoyable .
waiting for the next part:)

I agree with plumpmousie about assassins. Sometimes one assassin just dodges everything not just 50%. I really can't get brilliant from last two tracks, because every time at least one assassin dodges every shot and even 5 meteors.
Save between rounds would help so you wouldn't need to start all over again.

could be a problem with linux or ubuntu 10.04 but I noticed that when in fullscreen of newest version of firefox that the sceen stalls or lags for 15 sec.at a time....wil check flash software, but game screen always refeshes on time when browser is not in fullsceebn mode.

if anything were to be unfair I would say the ability to doge entire payloads from crypts is unbelievably frustrating, much more so than ninjas.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My biggest problem getting the brilliant ratings hasn't been the ninjas, just don't make the same mistake i did, get your mana up early game along with your start money (HUGE help throughout) and i actually put almost all of my points into the temples (red) the extra damage was useful and early game the temples seem to be nearly useless. It was tempting to just pump up the crypts but paid off to be patient about getting around to them, hope to see a sequel soon!

the title screen gave me an idea i think someone should make an opposite tower defens game where you try to get through and towers shoot at u please rate this comment high

Great twist on a tower defense game! The different land system is wonderful, and the enemies are tough (Oh, how I despise the Ninja Champion)! Hotkeys would be useful, and a skill reset that costs exp or something would be appreciated.
Lastly, I can't wait for a sequal, and maybe (if you care to be as epically awesome as I already think you are for making this game) a map creator! Imagine being able to design your own maps, I have a feeling it would catch on.

You really need to decrease how long it takes to level up, I am only at level 6, and it takes about 5 repeat plays of old maps to level up, I can only imagine how long it will take later on.

I hate to say it, but this seems like just another run of the mill tower defence. there isnt much variety in towers or gameplay, it all kind of seems more like working for a badge. 3/5

the guys that dodge dont dodge 50% of the shots, they have a 50% chance of doding every shot individually, each shot being calculated seperately.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the assassins on level 6 are completely bugged. It says that they have a 50% chance to dodge, but they dodge more like 90%.

YEAH I GOT THE CARD! and @plumpmousie if their was a tower to destroy invisible ninjas, it would kind of ruin the challenge. btw AWESOME game, I love it
