Ok, to beat lvl 14, lvl up ice mastery and wait for RNG to do the thing. Once boss is stunned, it's all about fast fingers and meteor shower.

this is my favorite genre and this series is my favorite of the genre. this game is amazing! i want to keep playing but i've run out of boards. i would love to see a construction set for the original cursed treasure so people can create boards for others to play.

On level 14, built CRYPT on each high ground close to the EXIT, upgrade FEARFUL CRYPT to the max. And keep all your mana to throw at the final cloaking boss... It's gonna be hard and kinda RNG if it freezes the boss then you gonna win, if it gets feared away from your games then don't miss any meteors, if anything else like it isn't feared or it's feared into your gems then it's like insane difficult to hit meteors all in time.

Any chance of adding a fullscreen option? Zooming in in my browser (like I usually do for games, increases the size of the graphics more than it does the size of the window in which the graphics appear.

With level 14 I can only win if the last runner comes from the lower right entrance. The other side it always gets a touch.

I hate level 14. Everything goes fine until one guy just walks between all towers without getting hit and ruins my brilliant rating. Then the boss just picks up a gem that's on the floor and ruins my excellent rating after 15 minutes of playing. You have to grind for many hours to get all skills to max to get brilliant on all levels apparently.

Mission 12 went perfectly until the boss just walked through without getting attacked. He eventually got hit by a lot of bullets at the same time and died, but those bullets came way too late and ruined my brilliant rating.

Bravo to you for updating this. The whole series is great. I did notice a couple issues you might want to hear about. When you are hovering your mouse over to aim a spell like comet...the mouse movement is very clunky. My browser is slimjet (variant of chrome). And as others have noted, I too lost my save progress. Cheers mate

So, save issues... seems to save inside the browser so any security/privacy settings stop it working as does deleting history on exit... so my solution is to create a brand new profile with zero add-ons or anything and use that for this game. Seems to be working for me. Firefox quantum.

In the year 2019, I finally got around to picking up the Hard badge.

This is a great game and I'm happy to see an HTML5 port. However, let's be honest, if it wasn't for the ninja, this would be an idle game. You may was well call it Ninja Fear Slot Machine.

Finally... I completed the second before last level.
Strategy has to be to use a boat load of Crypts and then just wait to get lucky and Freeze the last boss, while dumping all Meteors on him. Took me about 20 tries (after I found the strategy) to do brilliant on this level. It's too much luck for my taste. The rest of the levels are great though :)

There's a few quiet updates that I like.
1) Reset skill points: The CT2 has that, but this game and the level pack never did. It makes it a lot easier to get brilliants on one particular level.
2) Game pauses when you click on a tower to upgrade. It never used to do that.
3) Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when using spells, you can use both frenzy and fireball at the same time as long as you have enough mana to use one. That is, if Frenzy is 200 mana, and fireball is 150 mana, and you have 200 mana, you can use Frenzy AND fireball. You can't spam them multiple times with this trick, but if it's intended, it's a nice touch that keeps frenzy relevant.

odd, I have all 4 badges (had them from cursed treasure dont touch my gems. they all say I earned them, yet the display on top says I earned 3 out of 4 badges. My OCD takes offense at that!
