That door animation is just annoying, you lose a lot of time just to go in and out of different screens. Could you make the animation faster or add an option to disable it?

I really want to love this game.. I do! I think it has loads of potential. It seems to turn into a luck game rather than strategy quite quickly. The shops don't sell the cool equipment it's more luck it turns up. The gambling (great idea) seems a little too random (but I can live with that). Is that another group who have loads of archers which will beat my team. Yes it is! And arghhh why do my opponents specials show but not mine this just slows the battle down. I believe a few tweaks and this would be a really enoyable game. less randomness in the shops, abillity to buy extra characters and change the team dynamic. Overall a decent game(i was on it all evening)

Seriously, what the hell happened to my save? I only played 1 session of several hours. The save didn't even disappear, it's just only about ~30 min in, losing me several hours of progress. How does this even happen? Such incompetence is rare.

ahaha, after completing the third city... after beating the emperor I got only gladius??? after I bought two swords of achilles and other "artifacts"... you mean that this trophy is worthy? no waay... I mean, it could have been such a great game, but now this ruined it totaly..

Good basic game idea, very poor implementation.

I have to fight 3 waves of 5 enemies, that always come in full HP, while I got 5 people with the same HP for the whole fight? How am I supposed to defeat those?
I got the money to buy better stuff, BUT THERE IS NO BETTER STUFF.
The timing for close range skills is sometimes impossible to find...in the moment I am close enough, enemies use their skills and after that I am to far away and waste my skill completely.
The rating between 1 and 3 stars means nothing. There are 1 star quests I couldn't beet, while I had 3 star quests that I could just watch being done without any skill.

best team is 4 archers and 1 retarius in front, full equip. Also if u need to further improve your stats and you are level 25 (max) u can change a slave to another class temporary (just to improve his stats)

what's with the weapons? the one that says it's "swift" is slower than the previous one, the one with +2 accuracy is less acurate than the "swift" one... o.0

tell your sponsor they are fuc king morons. ill make sure never to play any game from or by them again. grats on ruining a game with some decent potential. similar to sands of the coliseum (they have it spelled wrong not me) too bad.

Overall a really fun game, sad to see it go, but that's how it works I guess. If i had one overall gripe regarding balance (since balance is pretty subjective most of the time,) is that later in the game, enemies having Touch of Death as an ability can be completely game-breaking. You're fighting 5 v 10 or more, so yeah, one to one your troops are better, so you can endure a fight. But give them the ability to instantly kill one of your troops, it just exacerbates the number disadvantage. And, worst yet, there is no counterplay to it, no skill, strategy, or item you could use to help yourself. That is not good balance in any game, where skill is completely irrelevant against a given tactic. Anything else, sure, you can play with combinations and grind out levels to make up for whatever disadvantage you might have. But remove that ability from items enemies can use and it'll be a lot more fun.

The end of the sidequests was rather weak. I had ~75k gold, and the reward was just 2,500 and no item? Some of those sidequest fights were quite fun with the different monsters and items you got. So it would have been much better with another legendary monster and nice item.

sorry but the game has become completely unplayable. Did you test this at all before release? Progress is virtually impossible due to the balance issues and a number of other problems... doesn't deserve anything more than a 1/5... a game that you can't even play, makes no sense

Excellent idea, poor execution. The randomness of the missions makes it impossible to properly plan or prepare for anything. A one-star mission could be as hard or harder than a three star mission, and a three star could be the easiest thing you do all day. Enemies are as well or better equipped and can come in two waves of five, while you only have your single five that don't heal between waves?
3/5 for the wonderful art and awesome idea, two stars off for the frustration and randomness.

When you submit a game it does require to check the box that you don't have external login. So it is fair that the game is being removed. I submitted it anyway because I saw some other games on Kong with the external login system, but probably the games were from Y8 too and the moderators didn't care because these games didn't have high rating.

One of my gladiators has an Axe with the Berserker ability and has chosen the Axe Specialization (Gallus) but during combat the ability doesn't show up. He's in the middle of my group but the ones on the outside can use their abilities with no issue.

yay the games getting removed, the log in system is annoying, even though I had an account, and the game was pretty hard to do a lot of the battles, I had to grind a lot to get all 5 guys and even then it was hard for a lot of them. an the fact that some of the side quests, thered be one archer and 4 big guys with smite, and they'd all launch it back to back. then with the betting system it made no sense for some of them, some would have close stats, so you'd vote on the one who had higher and you'd some times loose

For those having problems with dificulty: Heres the tactic I've used:
-3 net/trident guys with immovilize: they give you more than enoughtsurvivavility and keep the enemies from wrecking your stuff.
-2 shield/sword guys with touch of death: Touch of death is the best skill in the game, but it's hard to use because it has a horrible range, however, if it hits, it's a one-hit-death for one enemy, having 2 guys with good agility and that skill is more than enought to pass through the enemy quickly, and since the trident guys do the defending the team will almost allways succeed so long as you manage to time yourself well.
Also, little tips:
-take tridents over javelins because nets do mini-immobilize for free
-take shields over second swords because of survivavility
-MAXIMIZE AGILITY, agility+good skills+good timing=win

What an example of a great game ruined by a horrible sponsor. Y8.com: I'll remember your logo and name... and not exactly for good reasons.
Btw: Iriy, you're freaking awesome, like, I know a lot of people here that love every single one of your games, and tho I'm not in that group I most certainly love most. So use that name, you shouldn't need to get in this kind of deals, so try to make some pressure out of your fame to get better sponsors, because seriously, this game will only serve to make sure Y8 gets no traffic because of the bad mail and will also be taken back soon because of a stupid login sistem that didn't need to be in there to begin with, what a horrible deal.
