I think having the rating system statistically rated rather than time rated would make for a much better system and a sense of "I don't need to over-extend myself constantly to win". I admit, I couldn't be bothered going back to replay level just to get a faster time, which ruined the game completely for me. I still give it a 4/5 because the gameplay was good. Other than that, add a pause hotkey please!

Can there be a higher level of difficulty. Cause the enemy takes to long to build up their forces. I beat the final mission in 4 minutes flat. I want the higher difficulty so i can play slow strategy and make the fight feel even more epic, as i am forced to slowly cross the field of my enemy.

I'm fricking pulling my hair out every time I thought I have achieved the Purrrrrfect timing and my troops took too long to walk in the damn conquered castle.

The game is fun for the most part, great concept. However, with such poor unit controls, lack of hotkeys, and definite balance issues when compared to the game goals I feel that this is still very incomplete. Something that I may hop on and play occasionally, but nothing that is going to create a lasting impression as a game.

I don't think the Horde is weaker at all, they just can't stand up to either of the other armies if both armies build up. The Horde is designed to capitalize on weaknesses in the opponent and gain a crushing advantage in the early game. They are definitely the easiest race to get a perfect rating with on levels, and win extremely quickly and easily if one prioritizes targets appropriately. Their strongest unit is their cavalry, which, as you said, can only be built from cities, but with the gold boost for every time you take a building of any kind and the movement speed boost, getting that inital stronghold isn't usually terribly difficult. And if it is, don't forget the Sandworms (which damage buildings).

Bug Report: I was playing as the Ice Cult and on level 4 and went to use the Frost Enchantment at the center stronghold where a few troops from each army were fighting. I think I clicked off the path, because I was charged for it several times without it going off sending my mana well into the negatives.

The Horde feels much weaker than the other 2 sides. I think having their strong units be city only and not really having any good magic to help them early is just too crippling, especially when coupled with the fact that many enemies from the Cult and the Empire are immune to their poison, and their immortals are so awful that you pretty much have to rely on the archers without a city, so enemies being immune to a significant portion of their damage is pretty huge. Incidentally, I like the Cult the most, but the Duchy still felt fine, and is definitely the easiest to start with.

The only bad thing for me was that my units took priority in killing the closest enemy than following my commands. It ended up costing me a few troops and cities, too.

fun game, but its just far too slow. and if the building getting upgraded increase gold and unit space i would think this would be much better

I gave you a 5 based on pure enjoyment factor, however the game is riddled with bugs/problems from stacks forgetting what they were doing to the aggravating thing where they ignore everything until they are done fighting (what happened to retreating?). Trebuchet seems to engage whatever the heck it feels like. I feel I have no control over units.

Good game. The pathing is a bit messed up. On more than one occasion my troops would come out of their castle to defend and would end up chain fighting to the enemies base, thereby surrendering their puny lives and ruining my dreams of world domination.

@Bonzo - Yeah, I agree about the movement. Not natural at all. And I hate when I send my troops to point A, but they see enemy castle B and decide to attack it instead.

In a game where timing seems to be very important (ONLY thing considered in getting a good rating) it is pretty ridiculous to have the soldiers waste a few seconds walking away from the town they just pillaged, just to have them walk down the road a bit to reenter the town to officially capture it. There is also an issue with respawning units after a team has died on the field, takes unbearabley long to be allowed to train a new squad after one has died. These issues wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't such pressure to cut times at every corner.

Very good game, I hope to see more of this game, and if there is a second one I would love to play as the purple team.
