This game is great. It just needs 4 player multiplayer and larger maps. In a big playground, I would love to play as the undead against other kingdoms/players.

let us make some defend towers to protect our land and more places to build those mines, farms, obelisks. & make something like a treaty so we can hv allies and also make our castles & towns have more than 1 entrance so the army can enter and exit more easily. otherwise 5/5

It would nice if some percentage of xp crossed over to other campaigns, or you get some other reward by beating one campaign for the others. It feels a bit like a chore having to start over again every time.

Extremely solid, gameplay is smooth, fun to play, intuitive, good upgrade system etc. Feel like it could be... a bit more. Campaigns are short and pretty direct. Very easy, even to get perfects. Being able to upgrade the side structures and just expand everything to a grander scale would be nice. A few small touches--sometimes i want my guys to disengage. Especially archers. My melee guys are about to die, surely my archers should be able to respond when I beg them to flee? >_>. A little tough to control where the unit is going sometime/fight their over ride to attack anything and occupy. If I upgrade a town, cant I garrison some non-vets to become vets there? I really liked not having the cities attack. I dont know why it's so much a thing to expect one's cities to shoot giant arrows at foes, and I'm glad you didnt just go with the simple tried formula. Overall, the game is a fantastic one, but if it just got widened out a bit, I think it could be one of the best flash games available

Posting this again, in hopes that the dev see's it this time. People are having problems with the game crashing. I believe it's a problem with the different browsers, flash and the coding in the game. Is there anything at all we can do to fix this? Is there a recommended browser for the game? Anything at all would be nice. Upvote so the dev can see it?
Saw the messages about crashes. Please provide more info - when exactly does it crash, which browser, flash player version, what are your computer specs?

Too easy. how did this get 4 stars? Seriously this is a VERY average entry in the genre. I'm giving it 1 just to balance out the people giving it 4 and 5 who are IMO sort of nuts.

Note that you still have to enter the camps after razing them just to capture them, though. But after that you can leave (you might want to stay long enough to heal up, though).

Blue - this is almost as easy as green. Abuse the fact that you have the strongest ranged units in the game. 3 ranged units will be able to kill anything they can throw at you, so the hardest missions will be those where you only start with a wizard tower. Try to get a castle up ASAP to get bots out. Mages can solo ogres, and 3 should be enough to take your castle and rebuild it without trouble.
Except for the first castle in the blue campaign, don't bother rebuilding camps.

To all you guys saying 3 stars on every map isn't possible - it is. It took me max 2-3 tries to get it on the hardest maps. Just don't upgrade cities, and try to split up your army if it lets you get to the cities faster.
Green campaign is a cake walk - spam level 1 units and healing banners.
Red - hardest one. The way I did the last map was spamming cheap immortals with one archer squad behind each one, pushing each side. After having an army of 2 immortals and 1 archer pushing each side, I spam mana obelisks to let me reinforce them mid-battle with the ultimate spell.

It'd be cool if after you completed all three campaigns there'd be a skirmish option where you could play as the undead.

The upgrades themselves are good, but the edicts menu is confusing. I wish it were easier to tell which were locked, unlocked, and purchased.

Next B about the game the times required for various star levels are WAY WAY to short. Unless your a computer you pretty much don't stand a chance of getting 3 stars except on the first 2 levels. Expecially given my previous B. for now Leaving it at 2/5 I find anything else and it drops to a 1 I don't care how good the graphics and sound are, if the balance is completely decimated it make for a crappy game with good graphics and sound.

Is there a reason your units are incapable of retreat? It would really be nice when that spell suddenly turns your attack from 4 units attacking one to 2 units attacking 3.

The game has 22 badges. Now lets make 22 kongregate badges for the game, all 60 points each, one for each ingame badge... Yeah that sounds great!

The power of cataclysm completely destroys any balance this game had/has. It is far too power to be able to occur as often as it does. 2/5 until fixed

The campaign of those ice fellas is just retarded. On the second lvl you just have to stay in base defending yourself from the infinite ultimate the undeads launch at you
theres literally nothing you can do about it wtf its just annoying

A colossal blue and gold robotic ranged war machine made by the most technologically advanced faction, sounds familiar....

Upgrades:
-For green, get both gold upgrades (lets you rush units easily), the banner upgrade (because banners rock), and the bow damage upgrade and morale upgrade (more damage). Unlock everything when you can, except the damage spell and zealots are optional.
For red upgrade damage to strongholds (lets you take bases fast), +gold for capturing bases (the gold helps), +movement speed (self-explanitory), poison damage (for awesome archers), then +immortal squad units (for the times you want more tank). If you get lots of points, upgrade -cost of undead troops for cheaper tanks and calvary.
For blue upgrade +freeze duration (lets you lock enemy units better), -30% farm cost (self-explanitory), fast exp for squads, +2 gold/supply/mana per magic tower (overpwoered and really helpful).

Unit roles:
-Catapults are too slow. Other units will be able to take cities quicker.
-Calvary is useful if you can take advantage of their speed to reinforce an attack or rush an enemy base and you have the money.
-For support units, wizards are overpowered (they can kill ogres without taking damage, and can hold their own due to freeze), monks are ok (didn't experiment with them much) and assasians are overshadowed by other units.
-Archer units deal a lot of damage, and will attack castles and units effectively, if they don't switch into melee. Red's archers are extremely powerful, because of poison.
-Swordsman units are useful to tank damage, if you are playing as green. Otherwise they are somewhat situational, as they can die too fast for the other factions.

more tips:-Don't be afraid to attack two cities at once belonging to the same enemy, the enemy will only be able to defend one at a time.
-The useful mana-costing spells are the healing and attack banners for green, the attack banner for red, and freeze for blue (it will even freeze units inside of castles). The other mana-costing spells are not necessary.
-Greens ultimate is useful, giving you another ultimate. Reds ultimate is only helpful if the enemy has some units on the field, otherwise they will heal while you take too much damage. Blue's ultimate is useful for getting extra gold and mana.

This game is easy. I beat everything on perfect without too much trouble. Some tips for people trying to get all perfect (I refer to the factions by their color, not name):
-In my opinon, only the undead spell is really devastating. Be sure to take their magic towers before they have a chance to use it, if there is a spell that you don't want to deal with.
-Early game, your priority is to take a nearby city with a couple of troops. If you only have enough gold for one unit, focus on getting a treasure chest, so you can upgrade supply for more units. When you have enough gold try to take a city.
-Whenever you get slots, always use them to upgrade supply whenever you have gold and you are at maximum supply. The other slot upgrades suck, unless you are trying to get the in game achievements.
-Upgrading cities is a bad idea, it takes way too much gold, and only gives a slight benefit. Instead save it to bring in reinforcements or expand your army.

I find it amusing that the pretext for rebellion is the rivadis use of necromancy, yet all the factions use undead units.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
so the call to the grave thing gets old really fast, nothing beats losing your entire army the second they leave your village to defend it then having to fight them on top of the original attacker
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Kinda sucks that the "perfect score" system makes capturing towns and upgrading them pointless. Just churn out level 1 troops and raze everything without restoring it along your path, lol... Took me almost no time to get perfect on everything.

I would like too upgrade my side buildings, even if the upgrade let you get +1 squad or +1 gold from the mine, I think it would be worth it.
