Ok for the third time if you can not even figure out how to make a character do not bother commenting or rating this game its not the games fault you can figure it out. Btw I learned how to play this when I was about nine just to let you know

Theres are MUDs, an age long thing that predates all these shiney flash games. They require a lot of reading, some thinking and usually even more roleplay than most people are exposed to. Having some experience with MUDs in general Aachaea seems pretty interesting on the surface. A major problem I have with these is that it says its free to play, yet to really advance in these games, you need to spend real life money to purchase credits for more advanced things. In the end youll never amount to much spending nothing, compaired to the person that shelled out X amount of cash. Kind of disappointing

i have to admit it took me a while to get on with the phrases... and the system of actually moving your character...but i know that i would be fooling no one by saying that i could make a script to compare. the story plots are very well wrote as well. honestly i prefer games where you're at first perspective but for a game where you type and read this is pretty good.

Watercleave, Jarekov. I completely agree with you. Sarieno, very good job of telling them what this game is. If you play for at LEAST 5 minutes, and get into one of the main cities, you realize actually how big this game is, and how much time the creator must've spent making it. So there are no graphics, so what?! A game is made for gameplay, not graphics. I understand some people don't like these kind of games. That's fine with me. But, no graphics is no reason at -all- to rate this game a 1. As Sarieno said, "But it is, indeed, a set of the four greatest MMORPG's to ever grace the internet." And that pretty much sums up my opinion.

YOu play by being intelligent. These games are for the literate and smart. The clever. It actually requires you to play a role. You get warned, then punished if you break role out of certain situations. I've played these for some time. The Nihilists of Lusternia and the Harbingers of Lusternia are superior.

Jarekov, I fully agree with you, but that is no excuse for anyone to rate this game a 1. I myself have tried to create a game like this, and got about 50 rooms done in 1 month, with NO equipment, mobs etc. done. Achaea has well over 1000 rooms, at least 500 items, and hundreds of mobs. A HUGE amount of effort went into this game, and us players should realise that
Also, thank you tubsiwub. Again, not liking the game is understandable. The game is not for everyone, but I just want people to realise the effort put into making it.

the problem with this game isnt that people are lazy stupid or unimaginitive its the fact that flash games are traditionally short quick and easy to pick up this game takes a long time to get into and thats a turn off for alot of people, i liked the game and still play it but most people would rather play wow or something like that because their is such a large investment of time involved with this game.

As a long time player, I have this to say:
This is a role-playing game. You play a role. This is not WoW, not Runescape. This is far deeper, far more immerse, and far greater than those lolrpgs. It may have a smaller playerbase and no graphics, but it is, indeed, a set of the four greatest MMORPG's to ever grace the internet.

I am SICK and TIRED of all of the people who vote this game 1 because they are too dumb to read or too lazy to go in-depth. If you just don't like the game, at least realise the work they have put into it...

not putting graphics is just lazy...Wow. Did you spend more than two minutes playing the game? Thousands of rooms, all with individual descriptions as compared to copy/paste environments in MMO, quests more indepth and thought out than 'go here, kill big baddy', and people who actually care about things in the game other than "OMG LEZ GO PWN NOOBS!!!1!11!". Yeah, real lazy

Yay! IRE on Kong! Lusternia is the best MUD of all time, ever. I played this game years ago and I still love it. The player base is what really keeps a MUD going, it's not that bad with griefers and PKer... you just have to figure out who the major jerks are and avoid them or .... put them in their place. :)

well, i guess theres been a lot of work, but these kind of games are far better as books, still 3/5 for the hard work

If you play this game with the map you can control it like Fallen Sword. You just don't have to wait for action points in this one.
