I cant believe this game has been runnin' for over 11 years... amazing how it managed to make money just to get through the year through advertising since no one hardly ever play it. I think it's okay. But i lowered my rating to 6/10.

I change my mind. This game isnt bad. I feel like Im reading I book but I have control over what happens. 8.5 out of 10

This is a very good game imo.
I have tried a few text-based games before, never really liked them.
But my friend(on Kong)got me into Imperian,and I like it a lot.
5/5.
And on the book > these games and vice versa, here's an even better arguement.
book =/= These games.
That make you people happy?
If not,well,too bad.

I'd love to play this but can't create a character.. could you add instructions on how to get those ports open for playing.

it's a good game...of course its more like an MMO so don't expect instant gratification.
There's lots of stuff you can do in this game even if its just screwing with people. For example in Achaea my brother made this other player think her dog was talking to her(which can never happen) and telling her to do stuff.....this got her in big trouble because she listened to the dog which was telling her to do bad stuff.
Well, I don't know if you guys find that funny, but it's a good game. Give it an honest try....not just 5 minutes....at least an hour since its very indepth.

the problem with text games is that they are so slow paced in most cases. this game is no exception, and yes. a book is much, much better. as a piece of rp story this is an amazing fantasy world, as a game, this is an "epic failure"

The objective of the game is whatever you set for yourself. You can get to the max level and be a dragon in Achaeia or a demi-god in Lusternia. You can become a political leader of your organization, guild, clan or religious order. You can make friends, hang out and have fun. Help newcomers or participate in PvP and become a legend. You can go questing and attempt to grab all the honor titles that there are. You can design items, write books, or create art in the artisinal contest (don't know if its active for all servers tho...) The list goes on. You can also work to become a builder for the game, a moderator or administrator. Have fun!

its text based so ppl will find it hard to understand but as far as text based goes its fairly good. too much to it though i'd say 3/5.

I really don't see what's wrong with this game. I don't see how a book could possibly be better than this. If you guys don't have the patience to play this game for even 3 minutes, don't bother commenting or rating. If you can't figure out how to make a character or whatever, it's your fault. The community is far better than any other you would find on the web, including MMORPGs. If there's anything else you people wish to complain about, leave me a shout on my profile, and I'll be more than glad to reply.

i wonder... if the ranking is down will more people who are intrested in just playing and not saying bad things about this game fomd it?

Ok for the third time if you can not even figure out how to make a character do not bother commenting or rating this game its not the games fault you can figure it out. Btw I learned how to play this when I was about nine just to let you know

Theres are MUDs, an age long thing that predates all these shiney flash games. They require a lot of reading, some thinking and usually even more roleplay than most people are exposed to. Having some experience with MUDs in general Aachaea seems pretty interesting on the surface. A major problem I have with these is that it says its free to play, yet to really advance in these games, you need to spend real life money to purchase credits for more advanced things. In the end youll never amount to much spending nothing, compaired to the person that shelled out X amount of cash. Kind of disappointing

BORING!!!!!!! i agree with Justinkings i rather get a book if i waz pushed into playin this game. dont even waste your time i dont even know why this game is still on the net.

i have to admit it took me a while to get on with the phrases... and the system of actually moving your character...but i know that i would be fooling no one by saying that i could make a script to compare. the story plots are very well wrote as well. honestly i prefer games where you're at first perspective but for a game where you type and read this is pretty good.

Watercleave, Jarekov. I completely agree with you. Sarieno, very good job of telling them what this game is. If you play for at LEAST 5 minutes, and get into one of the main cities, you realize actually how big this game is, and how much time the creator must've spent making it. So there are no graphics, so what?! A game is made for gameplay, not graphics. I understand some people don't like these kind of games. That's fine with me. But, no graphics is no reason at -all- to rate this game a 1. As Sarieno said, "But it is, indeed, a set of the four greatest MMORPG's to ever grace the internet." And that pretty much sums up my opinion.
