It's like a pen and paper role play game but on the internet. I like that idea. Unfortunately I'm getting overwhelmed with commands and I've already forgotten how to look around and find all the guys I'm supposed to greet. : ( 3/5

It's multiplayer, Okboy, because you're in a world with many other people all over the place. The tutorial is single-player, but that's just to get you started.

The game is basically good, but there is a major flaw. One of which the the designer had no control over, which is the attitude of the players. There seems to be no room in this game for a guy who is just looking to kill some time. There are people there who want me to addresss them with respect, for Pete's sake. Gameplay, 4/5, enjoyability, 2/5, for the reason above.

I think we need a guide to picking the right guild/race :O That's a tough part of being a newbie and can effect your gaming in incredibly drastic ways. Take it from a long time player: Every class, guild, or city is a completely new ball game.

A fairly unique game these days, as it has become rare to not only find a MUD of quality, but one that is populated at that. Speaking only from experience with Achaea, I find it to offer deep immersion, excellent game play, and a surplus of new and exciting things to do. Plus, there are few games out there these days that not only allow you to define your gaming experience by use of your imagination and ingenuity, but even challenge you to do so. Though it isn't without it's flaws from time to time, it's overall an excellent game that I would suggest to anyone looking for something a little out of the ordinary to entertain them or even someone looking for an exciting new creative outlet. Cheers!

I find it interesting, though it always confuses me on what to do next, and can't get out of the "chamber of rebirth".

I'll have to go with a 5/5 on this one. The game is *awesome* if you have any brainpower at all. The problem is that brainpower is rare on the internet :<. By the way, I'm thirteen and I enjoy it, so don't believe you can't because of your age.

"OK this is an interesting game because you only see letters an you have to use the imagination the game..." That's what makes it fun, Helgrind

Awesome games. Deeply immersive and detailed world. Though certainly not all will be able to enjoy a game without pictures.

I love how people that do not 'get' the game seem to turn around and brand it as 'boring', 'lame', 'crappy' etcetera, without actually taking the time to actually 'get' the game.
When I first played it, it was right after playing runescape until my eyes bled (I was only 14/15...please forgive me). I saw the game and was like 'wtf?'.
I gave it half a chance though and that is all you need to become drawn into such an in depth, geniously constructed game. I've played it for about 2 years now and I've probably covered not even 5% of the variety this game offers.
5/5

The names for everything in lusternia are blatently borrowed.
Lusternia=Luster
Furriken=Furry
Aslaran=Aslan, from the Chronicals of Narnia
Loboshigaru=Lobo, meaning "wolf"
Taurian=Taur is latin root for bull
And those are just species names.
Man, I guess buy you're fourth MUD, you run out of names.

I've played WoW. Pretty good, until you own everything. Then, nothing is really a challenge. It seem's boring to me, actually.
