You are either saying that we are all happy, which is nice, thank you, or that we are homosexual, which you couldn't say because you don't know us in real life. The first definition seems nicer to you, so I'll take it that you called us all happy. :)

Slight learning curve, but not bad! I'm having fun, and plan on continuing it. I didn't join a house or city at first, read up on them on the wiki and through HELP HOUSES. Houses really help you out, as do cities. The little lull though was useful in learning the ropes.
i - Simple Inv
ii - Advanced inv
ih - Inventory here, lists mosts interactable agents, like stones, statues, denizens as it would an inventory. So very concise and easy to interpret what is 'actually' in the room.
Quicker than even typing "s" or "n" to move, you can always use the numpad. 12346789 control all the ranges of the compass, + descends, - ascends. Everything but in and out are very quick to do.
For those who find they can't log in a day after. When the game says "REGISTER YOUR CHARACTER OR IT WILL BE PURGED". I don't think it was joking. Only need to do it once, but you need to do it to finalize the account.

In my opinion, these are probobly four of the best games on Kongregate, though most don't know it. Yeah sure, their text-based MUD's, so what? Have you ever played a game with as much depth as these, with a combat system as advance, or with such an imaginative plot line? I doubt it... How about the longevity? They are not just some games that you play for five minutes and then just stop, you actually have to put some time into it! Once you get past the tutorial, which really isn't that long, then you are thrown into an intuitive and imaginative world! In short, don't just berate those who enjoy the game, actually give it a chance. If you need any help, just message or TELL Daisuke in-game, and I'll be glad to help! ^_^

This game looks good from the start, and has an excellent story line and gets great as you start to go into it, but, many of those out there will throw this game away because of its text base status, I'd suggest trying to get more then just text for the game.

again, BEST GAME EVER! to those who don't like it, it isn't that good at the start, but when you get into a house and when your at a higher level it gets fun! if your enemied by a town, just make sure its not related to your house, guild or clan.

The game forums have a lot to say about the attitude of some of the game designers. Looks like the long term players are pissed.

for gods sake! could you maybe play the game before you talk about it in the comments! and there isn't that many commands you have to do. if you forget any commands just ask on "newbie" and if your not a newbie just ask your house, guild, or clan. their more than likely to tell you the command, but mostly the only commands you need are "n,s,e,w,ne,se,sw,nw,say and tell

...Typing game....this game looked like it had 5/5 for about 3 minutes but when you start u have to type the whole game and no screen.... Probably one of my most hated games.

~"In fact, it's longer than some games i even played." Because those games are designed to play for maybe 10 minutes, this one you have to play for a lot more.

~"the tutorial was the longest tutorial i've ever had" Because this game is in-depth, not like your favorite game Runescape, where you click on a monster and you attack until it dies.

what's there to skill in typing? plus this game moves too slow for me. Waiting to see what happens is a real pain. How can the creator expect someone to remember all those controls? and trust me i read and type really fast. but this game is just plain boring. how can the author expect someone to just write and read all those words and know all the controls? the tutorial was the longest tutorial i've ever had. In fact, it's longer than some games i even played. still think it's boring. and plus captainrex you're being rude. you don't see me cursing

way to much reading. i think most people won't find that very entertaining for a game. Why couldn't they just made a graphical clicking game? Cause they *can't* do it that's why. I can't believe somebody supports this game. Rememering all the control is a pain already. Typing them is even a bigger pain. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, as the creators can't even do a simple graphical engine with real pictures. All they do is type. Even a secritery can do this. 0/5

redsnake's right, PLAY THE GAME! if you don't like it, who cares. just because you don't like it dosent mean everyone else has to not like it. oh, and jameron, the tutorial is sapposed to be long because there are many basic commands for the game. also, halfwit, your probably a 36 year old who lives with his mom and does nothing but sit on the computer making bad reviews for good games that no one cares about.

For all the new players here, don't listen to all these people saying this game sucks. They just don't like to read. Many people like this game. If you don't like it, just don't play it, no need say it's "crap", when it's obviously not.

This is a great game for those who put a bad score for it you are dumb. just because you cant figure out how to play it doesnt mean it a bad game.
