manfish, stats are typically the same in every game no matter what, you can't copy stats. I have to explain this so much to my bro who thinks every MMORPG copies wow cuz of it's interface, ITS NOT A COPY ITS THE BASIC TYPE

God forbid you should have to use your imagination or read something. You 1/5ers are spoiled by games that aren't even that great, but because they have shiny graphics you think t hey're better.

It's true that some people just don't like text-based games. That's alright! What's not fair is when you rate a game a 1/5 just because it's not full of pretty colors and graphics. Please rate games according to how good they are in their own genres or don't rate it at all.

Lusternia is a place dedicated to complete character submersion, with an emphasis on role play, socialism, and several amazing admins who work tirelessly behind the scenes. It should be praised until its dying day. Thanks for this wonderful game.

The idea is, okboy, is that you don't need graphics to play a game, and yes its boring when you first start, but that is because you need to learn all of the controls
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
dude this is boring but i do see the idea here and i know why people would like this i just don't but still im rating it 4/5 for createtivity

The Iron realms games are all texted based, but are kind of life Live role-playing but in a computerized text based. the controls are hard to learn at first... but as you play the easier you understand the controls... Whiles their are many help guides on the game.

Okay, I've been playing Iron Realms games basically for the past 6 years. I have to say that they are incredibly in depth and incredibly mentally stimulating. They are hard to get used to at first, but in the end they are amazing to play. You can do much more than you can in WoW, Runescape, or any other graphical MMORPG.

Achaea blows away WoW and RuneScape. I've played them both, and I find that Achaea is a better RPG. Note: RPG. Role Playing Game. Emphasis on that.

This is one of those rather "in the middle games" It is too complex and overwhelming to non-MMO'ers. Yet it is blown away by other big MMO's like WoW and Runescape. And even can be outdone by games here on Kongreagte like Kongai and SF:DT. Only for those that really enjoy text-based games without any real virtural stuff. 4/5 because i know that even if it is text based they put alot of work into this

Of course it will, AcidSeahorse. Remember, these games require an intelligence level above that of your average highschooler. Great gods above, how the educational system has failed.

Ok, here's how names work. If someone notices something "off" with your name, -including backwards spelling-, they will alert a Guide, and you'll be asked to change it. It's not going to kill you to be creative, kids.

Frankly, if you're playing for twenty minutes (or not even that), then quitting, you're probably not cut out for this sort of game. This is the kind of thing that requires higher-order thinking, and a level of intelligence greater than a neighbourhood mutt. If you're willing to put time into something that will generally relax you, give you entertainment, and generally raise your overall literacy, Achaea is worth it. But you really need to put the work into it.

How to right an awesome name for any of these games:
1. Take something that has a awesome name
2. Contort the name until it sounds different
3. Plug it into google to make sure the new name doesn't mean anything.
4. See if it still sounds cool
5. Use it.

Um... has anyone noticed that the race furriken on Lusterian is a poorly disguised race of furries? "They look like a variety of animals... ...humanoid features... "
Yes. They are a species of anything anthropomorphic, I.E furries. I don't have anything wrong with that per say, but it's sorta stupid that it's so obvious... I mean, yes, the other games have anthropomorphic species too, and in Imperian, I am one, but really, "Furrikans"??? Gawd...

It's Meatwad backwards. Meatwad- Dawtaem. Doesn't fly. No copyrighted names. If you come up with a stupid name, expect to be asked to change it. Rootattack, Idontknowyou, Rockypowered... those don't fly. Tynil, Wyd, Celeris, Amunet, these do. Those're also taken, so don't try them. So's Andvili, for the record, it's mine. Keep this in mind when you're thinking about your character name.

Dawtaen is an awesome name, but the people on here want to be able to pronouce it. I can you shouldn't have had that problem.

For those that 'can't move', try the following: W, N, E, S, SE, SW, NE, NW, UP, D, IN, OUT. That's how you move. Don't 'go W', just W.

Anyone notice that the people who take the time to really play it are the ones that like it, and the ones that take look at it and go AGGHHHHH! READING, IT BURNS MAH BRAINZ!!111ONEONEONE don't like it. There seems to be a correlation between one's literacy and one's desire to play such a game. Just sayi'n.

Amazing game, it is. I like this interface better than the Nexus Core one. Anyway, I've been playing IRE games for three years. I have a level 100 on every game, and on Achaea, I have seven. I actually levelled my latest character (A Troll Infernal) to 100 just today. Now I just need to get my newest (Xoran Paladin) up there.
IRE, you truly are amazing. I wish you'd make a fifth game.

I happen to enjoy graphic games also, but they can never achieve the depth a text based game can. If you are considering ever trying out MUDs, this is the one you need to try out. No others can compare.

I think one of the best things is that many of the gods, or "Divine" in the game, used to be players like you and me! If you put time into it, you can advance as far as you want!

If you don't like the tutorials, try Aetolia :O It seems like all the others gigglepoop just cause you can dress yourself.

The intordduction on achera isnt very good, i might as well start on one of the others and see if their introduction is better.

I've been playing Achaea for over three years. No other game has ever held my attention for that long. There's countless possibilities in the game, and its depth is far beyond that of most RPGs. The same holds true for all of the Iron Realms games.

Been playing for years, most fun with Lusternia, though I occasionally enjoy Aetolia or Achaea. Been a Trademaster on Lusternia, have enjoyed every archetype on it, and every bit of it is well done. 5/5
