I love how this game i based on the book of Raymond Feist. (Riftwar) Only for that reason it deserves 5/5, if i'd add the gameplay to that i'd have to give an even bigger score then possible.

To play this game you have to be patient and imaginative about the game. It helps better if you click on the map to know which directions to go to. The directions to go to are north, south, east, west, southeast, northeast, south west, and north west. You should focus on the tutorial because it'll help you out.

I wouldn't use Flash for this game, but if you have no other method of connecting, I prefer Nexus, available from the Achaea site. Nexus is a lot cleaner and you can script reflexes in easier, but it's still severly limiting. Excellent game, requires a lot of effort.

@henry94567 If the lost connection came when creating charachter, the answer is simple, but not one you can understand, it seems: GIVE THE CHARACHTER A NAME. Its the reason why it wont let you create the charachter. You probably realized to put something when they wanted a name, but you didn't put a name, didn't you? You just put some random text in there, like that username of yours (henry94567). Try putting a name that has a fantasy theme, its not that hard. Also, you seemed to ignore my previous post, at the same day, as well: You could have just asked. (Again, sorry for beign rude, just gets very annoying that they repeat the same mistake again and again, even though I have already told the answer previously on comments (from where you could have also gained the solution, by the way))

the game is massive, but with a complete lack of understanding, many of the commands are very over complicated for me, and no matter how many times i try to do somethng, it sais it worked and then nothing happens

Im disappointed that the game is beyond my mental capacity, there is too much to learn, to much to understand and the game is massive beyond compare, I love the game but wish I had the ability to remember, comprehend and use the actions. all together 4.5 out of 5

@ninjabman2000 Try doing LOVEKISS LIZARD and you will laugh even more. Then do EARLICK LIZARD. Be careful not to overlaugh. :) Its funny since you can do things like that. You can do that to yourself, too. "You kissed yourself gently on the lips", for example. Or "You jump on to yourself" or "You pounce on yourself, sending you both rolling head over heels." Kinda stupid that you can do that, but still, extremely funny. And there are sooo many emotions you can use. Type YODL and you will do that. Type GIGGLE and you will do that. Get a coin and type FLIPCOIN and you will do that. And you can be pretty ridicilous about them. I once did WRESLTE FIREFLY. Laughed and made others to do that too.

(Yet one answer to questions:) For those who dont like typing long and looong text: Use aliases. Im not sure if they are on the other servers, but at least on imperian (its the best server). For instructions how to use them... well, if you are smart, type HELP ALIAS in the game, if stupid, post a comment here and ask. Basically, aliases work like this: I, for example, have an alias named "WEEVIL". When I use that command, I execute this text: SING SHAITE WEEVIL, what is my regular bard attack. Then I have the command ORC, what does SING SHAITE ORC. So the idea is that you can put one little word to do big texts. Also, use macros. They help a lot. Im so bored in doing this now, so I will just say the name and you can figure out the rest. LONG LIVE IRON REALMS, LONG LIVE IMPERIAN, and have a good day.

@Seandude Here is an answer to your question (what you posted a long time ago, go see the comment if you are interested on what the question was.)
Turn the VERMIN command off. Oh, whats this? ITS A PROBLEM SOLVED. If the game still keeps scrolling to the newest, it can very well be information YOU SHOULD KNOW. Yet one hint: If you are reading a help file (what it is, probably, because its the only thing all have to keep reading for some time), simply open the help file again. Oh, again the problem is done. Now, its time to consider giving that 5/5 vote, right? :) (sorry if I was rude. Im just answering a lot of questions people have in the comments, and a lot of them are stupid, what is exhausting.)

(This is a continue to the other comment... If you wonder what comment, check the other one of the same date.) Also, those who comment about on selling stuff (example: Im selling a tower shield, tell my characther with the name this and that...) First of all, there is the city/council chat. WITH ALL OF THE SERVERS. And, of cuorse, it would be pretty good idea to tell WHAT SERVER ARE YOU PLAYING because if I, for example, would look for someone wanting to sell this tower shield, and I would post a comment where I tell the char name and what to buy, whats the point if im in Imperian and the other guy is in Lusternia? THINK, PEOPLE! (The reason for this comment is to prevent these questions in the future.)

Since there are many questions coming up, im about to answer some:
You people get confused when they wont accept your names? Simple answer: GIVE THAT CHARACHTER A NAME, NOT A STUPID BRAIN-MELTED NAME (like "Superdude", 7&7, etc.). So silly of you not to even consider that... So many questions about the Yggdrasil (not sure if thats the exact name): Check wikipedia. If I remember correct (im not going to check wikipedia while writing this comment, just trying to remember it) its this tree of some sort from a mytheology. Games have a lot of things taken from mytheologies, its normal. So no need to think that "THIS GAME HAS STOLEN IDEAS!"... silly to think so, as well. If a game, any game, has something that is on another game, its probably unintentional, or just an inspiration (what means that its not exacly the same). Many also ask "How to move around?" Type HELP (in any of the servers) and you get it. Think a little, people! They tell to use the HELP command in every server!

Attacked an old dog. It killed me. Respawning took half an hour (i guess). I got out of a cave. Petted a skunk. Then a wolverine comes out of nowhere then kills me in three seconds.

Also, it does eat up a lot of time. To put things into perspective, you generally need to be level 70 or above to PvP at all well. At the time of this post, the all-time high level on Kong is just level 15. OTOH, there is tons of support for newbies.

I actually played these games semi-seriously a few years back. They're incredibly involved (and you do need to learn/know how to code and obtain a good MUD program to be any good. You can also spend a ton of money on this game... there are players who have sunk upwards of $10,000 on their characters (buying artifacts, Credits, etc.). But yes, having text-based, player-run worlds is fascinating, and if you ever DO get into PvP, it's like nothing you've ever experienced before. Particularly in Imperian, which was built with PvP in mind. Way, way more difficult (and thus rewarding if you do well) than a standard MMORPG like WoW.

excellent game, excellent writing, excellent gameplay.
my only complaint is the map...it's really hard to figure where I am sometimes.
Maybe add some labels to it or something.

This game is pretty awesome. I've been a fan of 'choose your own adventure games' and this has so completely surpassed any text based game I've ever played. Not only is it a choose your own adventure game, it's a great multiplayer game. I can only imagine how great this game would be if someone thought to make it into a console game as well. Thank you IronRealms for submitting this awesome game.

i love text games, but not like this. i like it when you go to a spot,visualize it,and click a piece of text to go somewhere else. not the kind that you need to learn the game for an hour just to do basic stuff.

I have been reading the comments here a lot, and im *very* pleased that people have the same reasons to play that I have as well.
If you have no imagination and hate this game, screw you. :) So anyway, im also very glad that people have told that "A very cool game but not my game, going to give it a 4/5" etc... Im really glad that you have. :D These games are not liken by brain-melted people who play World of Warcraft, but everyone else smart and imaginative (did I spell that right?) have told the game is good, even though they dont otherwise play it. Long live Iron Realms, long live Imperian, long live the Earthsingers of Khandava! :D :D :D :D

This game is... interesting. One of the first of its' kind, really. Me, personally, am not for these types of games. I can see how if it was a weekend, I'd be all for it. It's just not for me, after a long day of school =p. I'd give it a 4/5.
