@sssg i partially agree they should be able to make defensive lines over water but they wouldnt block them or they could but the navy should be able to destroy it.

Land units should not be able to form defence lines over water, because then enemy navy can't pass and it can't destroy defence line because it can't reach land units.

They should also be good fortunes too like
New energy development- gain an extra half of your funds
Tailwinds- adds double movement for air units
calm seas- adds double movement for sea units
Technology break through- adds 1-3 random units in city (only if rare unit chance is medium or above)
Missile development- adds one random missile in city (only active is rare unit chance is medium or above.)
Letters from home- all units have +1 attack for 1 turn
Care package- all units +1 health for 1 turn
Juggernaut drop/ plating armor- all units +1 defense for 1 turn

Again from loserdevelopment :) If weather is added maybe there could be man made disasters like
Oil spill- lose half money for that turn
Nuclear meltdown- lose some units in that city (Does not happen to your capital city)
City revolt- 5 miltias attack that city (does not happen to capital, only happens to cities with low morale like if the city was recently captured. Does not cause turn block)
Terrorist attack- Kills one plane and 2 other units if you have them (does not hit capital)

To add on to new ideas:
With the addition of terrain it would make sense to also add weather to affect cities or around them so you could have as an OPTIONAL for a game
Thunderstorm- air units can't travel past
Hurricane- 20% chance an air unit will die
Tsunami- 20% chance a sea unit will die
Earthquake- 20% chance a ground unit will die
Blizzard/Sandstorm/Heat wave- ground units are unable to move
Whirlpool- Sea units cannot move through
Cloudy- half vision
Sunny- no effect
THIS SHOULD BE OPTIONAL because it makes the game rely on luck a little bit more but it is more realistic.

Really like this game, but another improvement that can be added is the option to have terrain or no terrain. It will be like
mountains- only planes and foot soldiers can go over
desert- half movement for all foot soldiers
snow - half movements for tanks
forest- all foot soldiers gain stealth but get half movement
rough sea- navy can't cross
fog- vision is halved
river- only foot soldiers can cross
Archipelagos- gives +1 defense to sea units
Hill- gives +1 defense to ground units
If the OPTION of terrain is used then there should be mechanic units being able to deploy to make bunkers or bridges to cross terrain you can't get through
Again this should be OPTIONAL to make less rage in the game.

@thenrp that would be a good idea, however it would probably be a 1v1 or a 2v2, but i think it would be fun. Curent map though, canada is soooooo underpowerd

Maybe there should be something called a map editor where you can draw country borders and put in cities. This way it will make games more interesting and give the developers a break from making new maps. It will also help the ideas of making maps like Pangaea, civil wars, revolutionary wars, wars in very small spaces like vietnam or korea, persian war, maybe even make things like zombie towns or sea battles where instead of pacfic but actual placed island people design. It will add creativity and fun to the game plus people can show off their artwork.

@Arteez The point will be another spawning location for only aircraft. Acts as high capacity transport as well as a reinforcements drawer for aircraft. Would be expensive

@duderoblox- what about sending troops over oceans and such? That would make it impossible to get from Asia to America, or vice versa. And while it would be possible to get from Europe to America, you would have to own both greenland and iceland, and then watch as your fleets simply die because they can't get back.
It would add too much complication and frustration into the game.

there really needs to be a refueling range for aircraft
say 2 turns
and they can only refuel on friendly territory to stop u being able to just send a bomber 3 times around the world

best strategie game ever try to grow fast and little tip you can move with your units ona city with tanks you don't need so much tanks to kill millizias for 5millizian are 1marine and 1tank enough or 2tanks

@htin10 people who surrender and leave are not the people you shouldn't ally,since you don't know what are they doing,but people you seriously shouldn't ally are the people who ally everyone in the room to fight someone on the second turn (it's only balanced if you're using everyone to stop asia)

would there be a way to add railroads onto this game?
First, you would have to buy track, which would start at one city, and be able to expand into friendly controlled territory for as long as you had the money to make it longer. The railroads would be neutral, so would have no upkeep, and be useable by other players, but you have to buy railcars to be able to transport your troops. They would be similar to air transports, but have longer range.
I don't know if you would even be able to implement this into the game, but if you could i think it would be pretty neat.
Sorry, we have decided from the start that building any infrastructure (buildings, railroads) would be beyond the scope (and time frame!) of this game. Besides, the game is taking place in present day - all railroads are already there :)

teh upgrades need to be turned into a skill trees one for the general one for new units one for new strategies also you might have some bonuses you can use in battle like an energy pill that gives your infantry units +1 movement range for 1or2 turns the possibilities are endless. also the upgrades get really expensive o.O the milicia that has poor atack defense and movement range cost 1800 SP its really overpriced for something nobody will never buy...
