With other games, investing in power early on and continuing to only increase power usually works fairly well. however, because the increases in power between weapons are so large, I found it was not very useful. I attempted an all agility build which worked just ok until I came to broken dmg (or as I like to call him, monkey magic). Now experimenting with a precision/defence/grit build with some chrome, which has served me well up until crimson tek, who should be easy once I buy one more piece of armor. What other builds have people come up with?

The hit percentages are not right. You should either bring down the percentage, or bring up the actual chance to hit. Still a great game! 5/5

as lame as this sounds... i think that there should be an option to keep playing after you beat the final boss... i like maxing out my stats and buying rediculous items :P but i liked this version a lot more fighting wise as well (much harder in the sense that you can't just charge at all your problems like in the original) 5/5 for me :D

like it. However, when buying strategic tools must select tool then buy times number of tools. Why type the number of units to buy then enter? It would save time and monotony. Also, how about a vs. mode, that way the game could continue to be enjoyed after it has been beat or would have become boring.
