For me a very good game:
fine graphic, not bad music, and above this very playable (not to short - not to long, just enough to end it and don't start boring). From 5/5 for it (in category of good, short flash games).
My way: pass all lvl on the easiest difficulty then end all achievments and then on the highest difficulty. In the meanwhile upgreading money, regeneration and cost skills, then meteor spell - all to max, later rest of the skills (and spells if you want). In the offensive style of the game you should complete all lvls on the highest difficulty - try to be quick when you start any maps.
Only two things from me - first maybe completing all the lvls with the golden flowers or all the challenges is worth a some badge (even for 15 pts.), the game was fun to pass all the challenges without it however.
Second - a bit frustrating was when i choose to plant seed or cast a spell and can't easily switch to planted seed to change their state (only esc working).

Tiktor, Power Wells are those alifhten squares on which you can plant a plant or crxtals a crysral and basically give yiou a boost. a very good though. still i missed the tutorial and couldnt figure out what the infected area was about. so i guess - if its not for a challenge - you can use or ignore those infected areas .. it never had any noticable effect to me that interrupted the game.

I don't know why some people are saying the hard levels are impossible. I just reached level 55 with all gold leafs and challenges completed. You just have to work fast and use pause to your advantage. If you let the crystal spawning bar get to high you are toast so you have to win before that.

i dont see the point of putting a OK and a X button on the upgrades screen its like putting two exit buttons on one window lol

A very enjoyable game. A couple 3-star levels nearly had me quitting because they seemed nearly impossible to beat, but after a little trial and error, the aliens were pushed back to oblivion. Fun time waster to while away a rainy afternoon.

some of the final 3* missions are impossible so im glad the achievements didnt require them. Also, a very poor game compared to the original. At least that one didnt randomly put some of my trees even if i didnt placed it there. (especially the final level it was incredibly annoying)

The medium badge seems like a really weird numerical choice to me. Fifteen in game achievements can is really easy to achieve by completing the game, then completing the challenge for the first six levels. There's no overall completion badge, but it basically encourages you to play an arbitrary six levels after completing the game. Feels a lot like kong didn't pay much attention to the game when making the badges. Which is a shame. Because the thought that goes into the badges is usually so high.

How was this different from part 1? I thought I replayed the same game again... Oh well...
Key to win any map is not to build a solid defence, but just barge in! Plant your plants as far towards the enemy as possible, and when in range, change one plant to attack and link all others to that plant.

The first two level challenges are RIDICULOUS. And beating the early levels on hardest difficulty although not hard, yields next to no experience at level whatever the unlock is. Still fun though

Completed achievments, still playing, want to complete it at 100%. As the first one (completed at 100%) it is really a great game and i simply love it. Difficult, but challenging and not frustrating. As someone said, there can be some improvements, but as it is, it remains a great game.

Hard badge was quite easy, not really "hard", didnt even require grinding. Hint: Upgrade Meteor to 120damage for 12mana. Makes the challenges much easier.

It would be nice if I can click the highest upgrade and auto gets the lower ones, if I have the total skill points needed.

The only really challenging challenges are the first two (require mostly maxed out stats and a maxed out meteor spell). Just focus on money as your first stats (can then basically start the game with 2-3 plants, which is a great boon) and then focus on regen, attack, def, etc. You don't even need to beat the first two levels in their challenge mode to get the badge (as the # created/destroyed badges also count towards the total).

@GameTommy These challenges are not meant to be done at the same time as the levels. In the previous game , challenges did not need higher difficulty , but here they do. I suggest start trying challenges only after finishing the 15 levels. I have done them all. Some tips - How you spend you choose your skill can cause you to win / lose. Heal is very weak in the end. Since rush builds are usually better , Cost efficient meteor is better. The regen shields can barely double your regen and are not close to growth shields which can increase growth to 600% in attack mode and 266% in growth mode. Skills should be at around the same level and will be mostly in level 3 by the end of the game. Killing the opponents faster is always better than building a defence , especially for the challenges. Good luck !

Are the upgrades cumulative or successive? ie When I buy the 10% attack upgrade, do I now have 15% (because I already bought 5) or just 10? Because that seriously affects upgrade strategy.
