I noticed in the spell selection/talent screen the healing and the meteor spell have power/cost tech paths that differ from one another but the shield spell has growth/regen tech paths which are identical. I believe in the first one it was armor/regen differences, although I could be mistaken. + so creator can see. Also very fun game loved to redo all the levels to get the achievements and golden leafs hotkeys really helped quicken response times and made it a lot easier once I familiarized myself with them.

I hate it because crystals can 10 while your maximum is 5 plus crystals spawn level 3 and plants spawn level 1 overall: 1/5 continued playing just because of challenge

To win the last level on the highest difficulty: you have to rush to the two wells on the right protecting at least one well by using the shield spell (i used power) until your plant grows. Then you can easily outmatch the alien on the next well and capture that as well. After that it's obvious.

Don't bother with spells, put everything in skills, namely Attack, Defense, Crit and Wealth. Makes the game a joke on later levels.

In my experience, the game was more linear rather than strategic and depended more on the order of the spaces in which you placed your plants. Once the crystals started growing quickly - watch out. Better to simply restart and try a different approach. Oh - and the game would have been better with zombies. :P

I kinda feel like the upgrades undercut the strategy a bit. I played without upgrades, and I came to a level I couldn't beat, so I bought some upgrades, and the level became pathetic. That's no fun. :(

Looks like the game got stuck after I paused in a level pressing P then clicked the options button.
Would be nice to have all keys close together. You could change I and P to X and C or something.

PRetty stupid that you are limited in plants but the computer is not... same problem i have had with all of the games in this series...

I found the game to be a bit to easy but it was still enjoyable enough for me to go through and beat everything completely. I liked the overall look, feel and play-style to this game. It is a unique way to do a tower td. Keep up the good work.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet, but I'd love to see a way to quickly select an entire column in the level difficulty screen. Otherwise, I think this is a great sequel to a good game.

For the first two challenges:
1st: You need to completely level up your defense, attack, regen, meteor, and shield (I used shield that helps growth)
For the first level, just keep your plant on growth first and then when you have enough mana, do the shield and change it to attack. You should be able to kill the main crystal before it becomes too strong.
For the second level, keep your plant on growth even when more crystals appear. Your defense and regen should keep you at the top of your health. When you have enough mana, do your shield to help your growth. Once you hit level six (max), switch to attack. Now is the time to attack the main crystal. Attack it with meteor. Your plant will kill the new crystals to help boost your mana. Eventually you will be able to kill the main crystal with meteors.

@ Klaue, once u get spells, first two challenges are very easy...just fire a ball at the first crystal and have the orignal seeding on attack to destory the crystal closer to you and you're done.

the first two challenges (don't seed) are harder than at least the next 6, which is pretty stupid. seriously, how are you supposed to win without seeding if the enemy is outside your shooting range at first and can seed more enemies outside the range you'll ever get?

I usually love tower defence and related strategy/tactics games, but this one requires so much micromanagement that I truly loathe it.

Based on the 'Cost' skill upgrades 3 and 5 which allow you to make more units I'm going to say that the upgrades are Successive and not Cumulative. It adds 2 max units TOTAL with the final upgrade.

It'd be nice if the mechanics of Symbiosis were clearer. Does it depend on the level of the donor plant? What exactly does it enhance?

The worst part of the game is the game-ark intro. At least the armor games intro is out of the way in 20 seconds or so, and doesn't yell at me.

It wasn't aesthetically superior, the music became repetitive, and level 14 is harder than level 15, but I was very entertained with the gameplay. Good game.

this game is very jittery on my computer, almost like a turn based game. Have to have my cursor over something that creates a tool tip in order for the game to go

I really hate how to get the med achievement, you need to level up a bunch, ive beaten all the levels, and yet i come nowhere near beating level one all 2 stars...
