This game was made with no consideration to actual gameplay. Why would anyone get the gold leaves if there are no badges or significant experience gain? The annoying starting ad, the way buttons never work before the animation for mouse over is done, the way some levels last a lot less than the experience counter at the end, just because you can't click Continue if you haven't gone through every possible and redundant and flashy and boring animation... all of these show that no one actually thought of the guy playing the game.

LVL 2 HARD MODE I'm also not aware. for those newbies here it goes.
1. Click the SKILLS
2. on the right side bottom theres a two category SKILL and SPELLS
3. Click the SPELLS
4. I did is maxing out the Meteor so I have 200 dmg/20 mana
5. when you do the lvl2 try to earn 40 mana so you can cast the meteor twice on the crystal.

Okay, this is weird. I've completed every level on highest difficulty and acquired every achievement. But I'm 10 XP short of gaining the last level that will let me max out all skills. Since I'm done playing now, it hardly matters, but what happened to completeness?!

Can you please make a cancel option because I mistakenly click on seed And the only way I can remove the selection is by choosing and casting a spell....

How to win:
1. USE PAUSE. You can do all commands while the game is paused, minimising the damage you take while maximising your damage output and overall efficiency.
2. I got both badges and the card in about an hour without using spells. (except fireball is useful on level 2's special challenge, mostly for its range) Fully upgrade Wealth, then fully upgrade Cost. (the two far right upgrades.) This gives you the most plants in the shortest amount of time, giving you a big leg-up over your opponent. Then fully upgrade attack, regeneration, then critical (you can go regen, then attack if your plants are getting killed too quickly, but your income should make it easy to seed new ones).
3. Just use logic. If one of your units is close enough to attack and one is too far away, use symbiosis to support the closer one. (although sometimes its beneficial to leave the further one in growth mode)

I loved the original Symbiosis, but this doesnt really count as a sequel... feels more like an expansion pack or DLC that just adds minor things that aren't groundbreaking and dont really make the game any more different than the original... same graphics, same music, same strategies, same skills, same enemy, same plants... it's just too similar to the original... The one thing that I hate the most is the Game Ark ads =.= They are so out of place, and i feel as if this game was lazily slapped together just so that GameArk can use it as advertising space. Why else would they swap the Continue button and the advert? This is too much too similar to the first game that it is boring... Greed caused this game to be terrible and bland...

@Name the second challenge requires you to have meteor since without seeding you cant reach the original crystal even at level 6. So just focus on making your plant strong (and ofc the stronger your meteor the better) and persevere until you manage to break the enemy crystal. Ps: It has a small regen on it so I'd get level 2 or more on the power meter if you want to end it faster.

I think it might be cool to have a version where crystals and plants have different abilities and you can play both sides. This game is awesome. 5 stars. :)

@irishdood If you do designate a target, for some reason it makes the plant stop attacking for a few seconds before it starts up again. It fires instantly (at the nearest target) if it is left alone.

Tip: if you're only able to use one plant for a challenge, consider what specific skills you need in order to win (and survive), and reallocate your points into ONLY those skills. Enemy too far out of range to attack fast enough? Is there another way you can inflict damage?

FYI if ur in middle of game ,Pause game, plant-sell, plant-sell and watch as ur mana starts to build
then unpaus and LET THE METEOR shower begin

Could you please, please make it so a level retains the difficulty settings when I retry it? to have to click 5 times to achieve the same thing on each repeated runthrough is very annoying. In fact, simply keep the same setting through ALL levels. It's not as if I'm going to switch difficulties around much when attempting the next one.

Found the sequel first and have played both games now. They are both great! You did a great job of improving on the original. I hope there will be a third.

If not for the annoying ckickme button of gameark that's located at battle screen (and score screen too), this will be 5/5, but now 4/5. The game is fun, there are challenges that aren't as easy, but I haven't yet tried going for gold.

Game-ark ad is annoying, silver medals are noticeably more difficult than gold medals, and our reward screen for getting all gold leaves is really rather lackluster. Playing the game through all silvers gets 3/5, playing through all gold gets 1/5. At least the silver challenges were difficult sometimes.

The game is gd but there should be more character for both the plants & crystals. They are now just one direction without any combination or variety.

Pretty easy game. I only managed to make it challenging for myself by getting the gold and the special challenge in the last level at the same time. Which gave my about 80000 exp at once.

Shield Spell (Regen) is much more better than Heal Spell
On level 13 (3 Stars), go to bottom and use Shield Spell and Symbiosis, you can clear them.
