I wish I could edit or delete my last comment. I decided to try a new strategy on level 14 gold and let the AI take both wells and I stay out of the only square he could reach from each well and defend the inside for a time, trying to stay in the clean spots and let him build in the corrupt spots. Then build a unit in defense mode to block his only way out of the wells, keep him trapped there and build the unit up then turn it to attack mode. Success!

Stage 14 gold is very hard, only one I can't beat. AI starts off with 4 to my 1, gets to well before I do, can't keep up with my units dying and AI creating new ones and able to keep an infinite number and build in a space that mine just died before I can build so fills up all the spots.

Once you get all the skills and spells maxed there's no incentive to play anymore. It's just "Been there done that". Also once you have all the special challenges done getting the gold leaves is actually easier since you can use all your arsenal. It was good enough to get me to play all the way through it though so that's saying something.

A great game with solid imaginative gameplay...too bad it's overshadowed by the fact that game ark is being shoved down my throat constantly!!!

Once you get all the skills (non spells), rushing is quite easy even on 3 star difficulty. Each stage on 3star only took under a minute with quick pause/placement/atk mode. Heck, some stages didn't even last long enough to spawn a crystal tower :)

After finishing level 4, i maxed crit upgrades and the first regen upgrade unlocked. I had 0 points but i clicked to upgrade and it was done... nice bug

How to win quickly for most levels:
Max Unit hp Income, unit cost and fireball (cost).
you get more gold for selling units since unit hps maxed.
Buy units and sell the one before them untill you get to a sparkly thingy.
On the way shoot down all the units before they get to level 2, on the sparkly thingy units sell for more.
Fireball everything to death

Obnoxious sound, worse the settings don't stick between loads and you can't actually turn off the Game Ark sounds at all. 3/5 instead of 4.

Every time I come back to the game, I have to watch a very long, very loud promo for gameark. Every time I come back to the game, it forgets my settings and unmutes the game sounds. Those two things make me sad, and honestly distract me from the fact that the game is solid.

The game is original and tasty. Very nice upgrade tree in magic. (the idea could be used for unit upgrades, too) Upgrades could be also better balanced. The magic seems too weak (heal and shield). But these are really lesser problems. 5/5. Thank you!

@uberpenguin: Heal and shield do not do the same thing. Upgrade shield down the "grow" path and you will quickly find that is an awesome weapon. Spawn new plant near the enemy and immediately give it high defense and super-fast grow rate.

Seems kinda too random to me. I got stuck in a stalemate at level 4. Every time I planted a new plant or enemy planted a new crystal, it got destroyed quickly. So i decided to remove one leveled up plant and got overwhelmed in next 15 seconds. Really stupid.

Wow the volume on the "Game Ark" intro is way too loud and supremely annoying. Can you please have a mute from the start option for future games?

For some reason this isn't cropping right in Google Chrome for me, runs fine on FF tho. In Chrome it's like it's at 110% zoom or something with the edges cut off, I can't see the timer etc.
