The red dots that show up in 2-1 are the bane of my character's existence. I just cannot get those things to work properly with any regularity. D:

It looks like you can jump up from underneath a platform, but you can't jump down from a platform (maybe you can unlock this later, idk) but it's annoying
Other than that, awesome game : awesome graphics, perfect gameplay 5/5

Good game but a couple of problems. 1.) Latching onto the wall was sometimes annoying and you should be able to detach. 2.) Potions and bombs are too frequently found to make the game difficult in any way. Other than those issues, level design was awesome. I liked the simple upgrades and the sense of humor. 4/5

Is it possible to kill the bad guy during the tutorial? I mean you could theoretically just hit him and run away a bunch.

2/2 The health upgrade with this many potions was useless, as if you have nearly infinite refills, there's no point upgrading it. I'm not sure if the game was meant to allow me to keep adding into attack after it was maxed, but I did... though I was paying zero attention to if it was adding to my damage or not. The speech with the sheriff text boxes were backwards, with the character saying his speech just after the freeing of Stabby. The monsters felt a bit repetitive, yetis are nice and all, but keep them in the snow areas. Anyway, despite a long list of issues, I had fun. 4/5

1/2 Fun game, and the use of giraffes is something original and refreshing. The controls felt comfortable, and the game play didn't lag to the point of doom. My grievances with the game are as follows. 1. I HATE the wall jumping mechanic, in my opinion the way it should work is holding the direction against the wall then jumping instead of mashing up which was the only thing I could get to work consistently. Along with this, I didn't care for the automatic latch on either, it was more frequently getting me killed than helping me. The potions are WAYYYYYY too common for the game to really have any difficulty, especially if you buy the treasure upgrade in the first town... which I did out of curiosity. Bombs did felt alright though, but I never did burn off more than I had as it was mostly just a mob mauler.

What was the ability you get for defeating the first boss? I missed the text because I accidentally re-entered the level ):

You should be able to un-stick yourself from walls without wall jumping. (Preferably just by pressing the button in the opposite direction of the wall) Not being able to has killed my on a couple occasions.

I don't know if it's my keyboard or the controls or what, but my guy never, ever jumps when I want him to and is constantly running headfirst into the spike areas. It's frustrating! I really like the game otherwise, it's well animated and the storyline is fun.

A giraffe, a rainbow laser, a rock, and I got to launch my rival to the moon. I've never seen this in a platformer game, but I loved it (mostly cause it's a platform game). 5/5

First off, my computer can barely run it on low graphics. Second, after the tutorial for some reason I can't use the WASD keys to move anymore even though I set them to move with.

I have a complaint to make: on 3-3 I finished the level but when I reached the ruby it disappeared :(
Is this supposed to happen or is it a glitch?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My keys kept getting stuck, and in my level up, I couldn't do anything cuz the arrow kept moving. Not too much of my fave game, sorry. Other than that, it's good.

The game is quite fun. One thing, though. After upgrading my attack to max, my next level up I chose attack again just to see if it did anything, but it didn't, and it wouldn't let me undo the selection. :(

Enjoying the game a lot. Found a glitch, though (at least, I'm pretty sure it's a glitch. It could just be a weird sense of humor at work). I had the 6 rubies and approached the door. Touching the door teleported me outside the map (upper-left hand corner) and I had to circle around the perimeter of the map for a while (quite lovely area, BTW, other than the random, fourth-wall-breaking text on the far left about "tutorial" and whatnot) until I got to the bottom-right corner and was teleported back inside the map, near level 1-5.

Aparrently, my giraffe has the powers of escaping the map and going to the outskirts where I definitely see bugs, the map itself is good though, catchy music and fun gameplay. 4/5

This game does not get dull and the content is flowing; no, it's coursing through my veins. I wish the weapons became more powerful on a logarithmic scale, and the "escpape" on level exits need to be fixed, but great concept, art, and execution. 5/5 Verdict: we need more dev's like you on kongregate

Ok what am I missing in this game? I've been on the first boss for like 10 mins. Is there a command for some special ability I'm missing? All I can see is bombs and sword, and I wouldn't expect a boss to live this long.
Thanks for any help given.

I have to say i truly appreciate the fact that the upgrades actually change the appearance of the character, also thank you for a wonderful all around game.

Great game! Also, tapping the fly button (once you acquire it) really quickly makes you fly twice as far, for anyone who cares to know.
