Tried playing for the first time today. I get a "Error contacting server. Please restart your game or try again later" error message when I try to move my recruited dragon in the single non-premium goblin mission. I sense it is time to move on to another game. I had fun trying out the different races I guess, although RNG facing different 'zombie lords' and/or tavern recruiting and/or card draw sequencing has a lot of potential to destroy your victory chances within a given campaign after spending a lot of time on army-building and positioning. The lore was OK but some of the incorporated city names are not my cup of tea. As I do not see other players complaining about bugs and glitches in the comments, I will refrain from rating this title, but Jay Kyburz should know that I, some random dude on the internet, am disappointed in the quality of his work, like a leaky umbrella in the rain.

The game seems to have some glitches. For one, I had a Trailblazer teleport to a mana pool with an army waiting for it. Before battle begins, I zap it with a Little Wizard, killing it. Even thought the Trailblazer is gone, it registers it as 0 kills and I don't get my 18 valour. I refreshed, but still the Trailblazer is nowhere on the map and I still don't get my 18 valour. Other glitches involve jumping ahead less than 6 hours, but instead of jumping the specified whole amount of hours, it throws it off by a few mintues (ie. 3 hrs and 18 minutes); therefore it throws off my ability to line up units so I can merge them together.

I think having the ETA to every point on a long path would be helpful for planing next moves and preparing for attacks.

Ever since yesterday the page up and down, pos1 and end functions don't work anymore with armies in full screen mode. Kong's cinematic serves as a replacement but it wouldn't be half bad if you looked into that.

Will you be adding a way to rewatch a game after it has ended so people can see what went wrong or what went right in their game or to just watch a good game they enjoyed?

the cowardly noble isn't showing up picture wise except in cardform and every time one shows up in a game the game never loads for m nd so far in 2 maps i am getting close to winning with the people i am withand the game has stopped and won't load for me, is it a glitch or something?

when player left the game (or got kicked due to inactivity after 48h(??)) then other players can join via "User Created Games" if they know the number of the game (remaining players can see that number ingame in the options menu).
So if you have open spot, post them in forum or chat or tell them your friends

I like this game very much. One of the best browser strategie Multiplayer games i have seen so far. But the access is not easy. So it happend that in many multiplayer games "First time player" play not very good, become frustrated and leave. Then the chain starts. For the remaining player it gets much harder so they start to leave too and at the end all believe the game is to hard and don´t like it. Even for player like me it is frustrating when in a six player map only two player are active and i´m not able to invite player from the past i had great games with (friendlist) or take over their settelments.

But keep up. The game itself has earned the description strategie and is much fun and challenge to play.

If you want to do a single race mission, could you do one with dwarves where you can hold the area you start with ranged artillery, but have to use griffins to go out and protect other areas or you will be overrun? That seems like it would be an improvement on the current free dwarf map, where once you get some artillery in the central fortresses it is hard to lose. Unless you screw up and let the zombie griffins by when you fast forward too much

For some reason I can't play this game. I'm using Firefox 23.0.1, when I click the "Play Now" button, it just says "Loading" in at the top of the game screen for half a second and then returns to the first screen. Is this a common bug? Or is it just me?

An interesting thing to note is that if the Undead win a battle but you manage to kill them all, your army will become a graveyard but will then burn itself before dying. It's like they know they won't be able to survive their wounds so they make a funeral pyre and throw themselves in it in a sad yet heroic way.

Love the game. Still can't see myself spending money on getting the rest of the campaigns, especially not when you're at half the price of a full console game with that.

The game is great, i like the co-op multi but still, you need to connect regulary if you don't want to mess up the reapers tally result. Playing alone is a better way if you have not enough free time and there is not enough maps there.
Come on... free up the human whole scenar. What's the meaning of a game you can't play in a free web site like Kongregate ? look at the website's name : "Kongregate online playing free games".

If you don't keep adding free stuff to keep more people coming, this game is going to lose popularity and drop down off the top lists, and then no one will see it anymore. You need to keep it fun for the people who don't pay, because they are the majority and decide if games make the front page or not.

Greaat idea for a game, however can you make some of the things in game more clear? IE, when moving, allow for an appproximate time o attack a certin enemy, because sometimes i send soldiers out to fight an enemy, and they pass each other w/o fighting and it turns into a chase

Why would I pay to play a flash game that is a money pit and most likely has bugs, when I can get real video games from the used bin for $10 a piece? Wouldn't make sense, would it?

great game, didn't like the slow paced multiplayer at first, but it really grew on me. one suggestion i have is maybe being able to acquire disconnected players troops or territories for all the players that are still in the game. i get that you can get another player to assume control, but in losing-scenarios available substitutes are in short supply.

A game with loads of potential, beset by UI issues. It seems it's being optimised for touch, but there's not enough dragging shortcuts. Commands are buried in menus when they could easily be placed out. Even purchasing cards has menu quirks.
Yes, we didn't want to build any interfaces that would not work devices like iPads and Surface tablets. We want the game to work basically the same way on any device you might want to play on. Unfortunately that meant we had to make some sacrifices. We _did_ make some optimizations for Desktop though, right click to give a move order is really important. Drag and drop in the collection screen. If you can think some more we should do I would love to hear it!

What is the score based on? I have played moltenforge and not lost any cities below the foxes range, and taken very very few casualties (eg, outnumbering the boss by more than 2:1 and killing everyone else from range, except for maybe 3-4 griffins that got killed. Also, I didn't recruit more than 5 dwarves in case the system counted that against you. Still I am not on the leaderboard. What am I missing? Are people managing to kill the boss and save the northern cities, or am I doing something wrong?

i believe a nice add for player created multiplayer games can be faster timer option in game creation(x2,x6,x12 etc) and i really dont understand the point of campaign being premium, i think its a bad decision. Nice game in overall

I agree with xyzer, the game needs more free content. I'm not bothered with not being able to play the "campaigns", it's fine, but I'd like to have at least two free scenarios per race. If you Devs still want to make some money out of this game (legit imo), you could make one Premium Hero Card per race, two at most, but allowing free players to win those cards in tournaments or "events". This game has tons of potential, do not forsake it and keep up the good work!

it could be nice to add some button to move/use abality/recruit next to the menu when an unit/city is selected, and maybe a button to show/hide moves of all unit, that would give a much better global vision of what's happening.

Could you give extra coins for beating levels on higher difficulties? eg; nightmare gets you three, hard gets you two, and normal gets you one. I think that would be better and reward you for beating harder levels.

Dude! It's sweet that you've taken this project to this point. I remember this game in its previous form -- I'd always see it when my friends and I were playing Neptune's Pride and Triton's Revenge. Those were truly phenomenal and I hope that one day you can implement that kind of long-form multiplayer version of this game, too. I get it if there wasn't much of an audience, but you had at least one big fan in me.

Game does not reward me one coin for completing quest. Game state is indefinitely stuck despite pressing all the "next" buttons of the game over dialogue.

I dont know how hard this would be to implement, but there should a way to activate the ability of all units at once if it's the same. A good example is elven archers and goblin bows. When you have a big stack of them, it takes too long to use every single ability. Love the game, keep up the good work!

Sorry your monetization choice is a very poor one I won't play this just because of that. I didn't even play one mission before I saw how gimped f2p is 1/5.
