Yeah, I got 48 as well, even with picking up the first 10 before the blackout. Not sure where that last one is hiding.

Wouldn't have played this if it wasn't for the badge of the day, and I can't really say I enjoyed it. It has its good sides with the atmosphere, voice-over etc. but really, once you play through it for a second time to get all droppings, it's just a pain to wait for all unskipable cut-scenes and listen to all dialogue, and notice, this is on the _second_ time playing. If the game gets annoying that fast, it isn't good. It's a very short game though so after a failed first playthrough it's not that long before you get all droppings and can end the game within 5 mins. A weak 3/5.

@Mimmizer Don't worry, it's not that bad. Not unless you have a deep fear of being hunted while you're alone in the darkness, with only a flashlight to let you see while underground in a pitch-black cavern, sure that the creatures are just moving to be behind you constantly, always Juuuuust out of the light. Then getting stabbed.
Other than that, it's just a normal game, collecting sparkly things for no apparent reason.

"Ooh hey, it's midnight, let's see what the new Kongregate badge of the day is!" >"HORROR" tag
"Ooh hey lets do LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE."

More of an interactive fiction than a game, but it has intriguing story and quite good voicing. Despite few minor annoyances it deserves a high rating. Too bad it's so short and I can't see subsequent parts anywhere.

went from 5 to 2 for making me have to play through it all again to get stupid missing shards. Sorry but this is newbie and stupid. I played the game through once, and was cheated out of my badge. Dont' make me play through a game twice b/c of poor programmign or design.

i think its kind of cruel to put one of the last shines in the beginning cutscene with the tour group, because in games like these my first istincts are to explore as much as possible AWAY from the focus, which made me miss 1 shine which i couldn't get back :/ sucks, ill have too re-play it tomorrow

You know something? I think the monsters might have a problem invading the surface of Earth.
The whole "Afraid of light" thing might get in their way, considering how bright most cities are even at night. There's also that whole "Day" thing.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. I DESPERATELY hope he makes the next part. I'm wondering if the voice actors quit or something, so the second game has been delayed.

I really enjoyed the game, but I feel it would have been better if the first ten sprites weren't gone after the intro. The first time you play, it takes you a while to get your wits about you, and when you start collecting sprites you get disappointed when you find out that you can no longer collect all of them.

So, I remember playing this before and beating it before the badge. Now I'm playing it again, and NOTHING happens after I'm told to get the flashlight. The only thing that happens is I'm told to aim with the mouse and go to the elevator. Except, I can't locate the flashlight and I can't locate the elevator.
