This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Realistically, the only upgrades you need are Extra Bounces, Sushi Magnet, and the faster bounce recharge. Maybe it would be different if you didn't slow down so fast, but the upgrades to the launcher are useless and the other upgrades are just kinda meh.

Bounce ability seems inconsistent in how much bounce you actually get (sometimes it acts as a forward boost, sometimes it stops you dead and just make you bounce directly upward once). Hazards are pretty unforgiving, either easy to get stuck behind or cost a lot of sushi on sushi gathering levels. It wouldn't be so bad if you had more actual control, but as is the game is mostly how lucky you are in hazard placement.
