@tekha: YOU didn't read, each app slows down the game, so it slows down the income. That has nothing to do how it should work, it has to do something how it really works and thats depending on browser, windows, advert, computer and maybe other things. currently only 30% of the cpu is used(not in the damn game), but the game runs at only about 50% speed idle and 20% when i do something.

Fixed some bugs.
While in another tab the game continues NOW to run at 100% of its speed.

@langelangeweile @thaumato Apparently you didn't read what I had just typed before you. Idle apps take ZERO, ZILCH, NONE, NADA RAM or CPU. They do absolutely nothing to slow down any form of your income. Only when you are actively clicking them, do they take any processing. Also, to say getting to 50% is little benefit, is absurd. You get a massive increase in speed. My current "best" app is 2.8 trillion per run. Roughly 2 seconds per run. My OS is roughly 900 billion per second. Do the math, that's 900 billion for OS, 1.4 trillion for a SINGLE APP. That app is only at 20%, which means room to improve. If I reformat right now, my income more than doubles from that app, OS remains unchanged. OS is by far inferior to apps.

I've ran into a glitch while I was idle and I came back.I noticed my apps become unfunctional,so I formatted then they didn't go away.So I manually deleted all of the unfunctional apps.Then I noticed there were two "Install Apps" buttons.Please fix this.

Format with 1k and you restart with no money. Format with 100m and you restart with no money. Would've been nice to know, instead I spent all that time getting money just to lose it.

each app (and each advert) slows down the game, when running -> less income, when it's to much
i'm at 700k investors, have the 4 best apps i could use and i can only use them offline, cause of the damn advert last days. even without them i get only a minor increase at 50%

Update to my previous post. No amount of apps does anything to your idle CPU or RAM. Only the OS itself affects idle performace. Therefore, it is literally impossible for an idle app to slow down OS income.

@langelangeweile I agree that when you first reformat, your income per second is actually less than what your OS says it should be able to do. but, it can be less WITHOUT even buying apps yet. once you get the stronger end apps for your progression, your apps are usually at least double, if not triple your OS income. people forget you have to click the apps for them to work efficiently.

THIS GAME IS EXTREMELY STUPID RETARDED DUMB, call it whatever in this manner ... if computer evolution looked like that people still would use sticks and stone-boards to compute ... at first you upgrade, there are prices, but there is no information on screen, how much resources i have ... after rather accidentally clicking correct "upgrade" label, something changes but nothing changes, computer does nothing and there is still no information on resources ... after extremely accidentally formatting, something changes - computer stars to compute, there is information that it makes 0.20 $/sec but still no info how much i have ... left game for few minutes 0.20 x 300 sec = 60, tried to upgrade something that cost 14 i didn't work ... THIS GAME IS EXTREMELY STUPID

Really need to get rid of the upgrades that don't do anything. Even if you have to raise the prices on the ones that actually do something. It's discouraging to spend resources and get nothing immediate.

Does RAM cap at 24GB (5 slots). I bought more RAM. It took my money but didn't give me more RAM. This is just like dealing with some NewEgg vendors.

I think what people are forgetting, you have to CLICK your apps to make them increase the speed of profitability. If your OS is your major source of income, you are doing it wrong. Yes, its strong, but apps are stronger. You have to get them to 50% though.

I generally format every OS upgrade, the added percentage really changes things. I'm at almost at 50000% for investors and it certainly adds up late game.

There's a point in the game where the latest apps are completely useless. By the time they would make back what you spent to get them their rate of income is insignificant to your current goals. Basically all your money just comes from upgrading your motherboard and OS.

i think the big flaw in the later game is that investors don't build exponentially like most everything else. it seems investors pile up (in waiting - until formatting) according to an inverse function, where the rate starts higher for each successive OS. that seems fine initially, but around Windoors Xs it's not enough to build your coffers for the next OS in a reasonable time. if investors-in-waiting piled up exponentially, and in relation to current investors, there would be a tension similar to all other idle games, where you'd like to reap the reward now but if you wait an hour or a day or whatever, you'll get a bigger reward. because investor growth slows down over the course of a format, it doesn't work this way.

The Kill's Cread app wont uninstall. The X button doesn't do anything. The only way to get rid of it, is to reformat and start all over.

Just a heads up, once you upgrade to Windoors RJ, the game becomes effectively pointless to play. You must double your hard drive in slow, ridiculously expensive steps. Oh, and the next app gives you a whopping 3.5% increase in $/second for the high, high price of $2 Quadrillion which you must inch towards for several days at $15 billion/second. A chimp from Jupiter could have balanced this game better.

I really wanted to like this game, but the balance is so off that progress even in the lower tiers is too slow to be rewarding.
