Yes, I second what Easty459 said. There is an inconsistency between cash per second and what it says my OS is earning.

This progress is ridiculous, my OS is providing 90-95% of my income. Somehow though my income per second is even less then what my OS brings in!

I have only played a few minutes, but I like the concept. I would also like to see some other parts like video card, monitor, speakers, mouse keyboard. Those can be added later. Not sure of the speed progress yet.

Does having some minimum amount of free disk space help idle speeds at all (ie swap disk / virtual memory)? Does RAM improve speeds at all, or only determine whether the app can run? How to clicks relate to app progression? Hovering over most items tells you how much the upgrade will improve on click, but it does not tell you for CPU Speed or RAM Capacity (at least for me). Would love to have a "Task Manager" that tells you how much each app is using and producing, either as absolutes or as a percentages. Besides allowing OS upgrades, does upgrading the motherboard improve any other aspect of running apps? ALSO: It would be nice to be able to pick and choose a combination of apps for "active running" so you could try and optimize your output based on which apps you want to focus on when active clicking

maybe i remember something wrong BUT )))
many hard drivers were possible to connect when i go to school
and 1+cores appear when i graduate ))))
so why here we add another core earlier )))
and where is DOS norton commander WIN3.11 .... why here starts with 95x
creator maybe lazy to read some history/rating of popularity games and programs))) simple take what he do ))
GAME GREAT !!!!
maybe i'm noob just 1 day playing... cant undestand need click on app only 1 time and wait its idle run done or click many times and speed up it.....

Here's a thought...for the app info [the i icon], how about aligning the stats [hard drive space, cpu, and ram] in the same order as they are on the main screen?

I was having the same issue as many comments, of no instruction or even indication of my money. All areas now seen filled with color were white and devoid of text. For others reading, fully refreshing the page seems to have fixed the problem so far.

I buy apps as soon as I can. Try to keep the % of the cpu and ram even. you'll have to buy more ram. Only buy enough hard drive to run the apps and operating system.

Does the tutorial even work? Every time it pops up I only get to step 2 then even when buying an app it won't advance.

One good way to proceed faster in the later stages of the game (without using an auto-clicker) is to try getting the OS upgrades ASAP and then formatting the system. OS upgrades give a huge boost to income while being permanent upgrades (You can upgrade to the OS you were at free of cost after a format).

Just got the Windoors 8.9999 OS which nets $214.75mm per second. In contrast, my most lucrative app at the moment makes just under $50mm per run. Even if I format and account for the investor bonus, this would only go up to $75mm per run, but I don't really feel like sitting there and waiting for the idle run % to increase to where I have it now.
Even looking ahead at the most expensive apps available, the per run earnings are paltry compared to what I have to invest to get them, and there's no guarantee they'll even run quickly enough to make them worth it.
Great idea for an idle game--I really like the concept--it's just not ready for prime time yet.

the one thing that really stands out is that the apps upgrade them self even when offline unlike any other idle game i know (fyi i like idle games for some reason)

Why people wants to progress quickly ? Why is so urgent?
I like this game, it's not the best game I've ever played, but it's entertaining ...

Considering idle speed is a percentage of full speed, based on number of runs, I want to believe that some of the earlier programs scale into the late game decently. But I get the ominous feeling they don't...
