Why is it that you can upgrade things without them changing in size? I've bought more RAM capacity several times without it changing, same for CPU speed. Also, often times I earn less when clicking an application than I do by leaving them all idling. This makes no sense if it runs faster while you click an app.

It's rather annoying that the low level apps slow the flow of money more than they raise it when you get access to higher ones.

RAM should be about 1 tier behind HD for storage. For example, early game, when dealing with MB hard drive space, RAM should be at KBs, etc.

what if the apps would be running even if the game in another tab? that way the apps would upgrade faster, and it would make more sense (I mean, a computer is running when I'm not around it, right?)

guys the progression is a bit slow, but there is a way to make it decent. upgrade your ram and cpu like crazy, it makes your apps run idle faster

less than an hour of playtim on this and based on what im seeing in the comments, unless i se some serious improvmnts this will probably not be on my list of games to play even if they make it a game of the day thing for reward ponits

Why don't my CPU upgrade anymore? Cores = 12 & speed = 4GHz. If it's maxed out that's fine but don't make it so I can still click 'upgrade' if that's the case.

Investors are HARD to get, but they don't do muchl. I have over a 1000 investors and it only equates to ~2x (ok, more like 2.5x) increase in income, which is nothing. If I can suggest, a fun thing to do would be to apply the multiplier to speed/drive/memory sizes instead of to income.

once you've unlocked a decent motherboard (which supports at least W7) there is a nice tactic for getting investors quickly: you start a new run, upgrade your OS to your max, go to format and you already have a couple investors.

I would like to see more options, maybe you could be able to hack website's using the apps in-game, maybe alternate ways to make $$$, stuff like that

what is the point of getting a new OS besides getting more free money/second? the apps they unlock quickly become only availible once you get the next OS, which then makes next OS apps unobtainable without going up another os. SIMPLY because they cost way more than the next OS costs.

It's a bit strange but at least at the point into the game where I am the best strategy appears to be to not install any apps but just run with your OS at least if you idle and don't click, beacuse each installed app reduces your income by more than they contribute, at least unless you wait a long time to max them out. But by then you'd already be set back income wise quite a lot.

Here's a tip: Every app installed makes the other apps run slower, even if it's not being used.
Here's another: the number of investors gained/money doesn't seem to depend on how many investors you have.

I really really really want to like this game. Every time my HDD doesn't have enough room to install a new app though, it just drives me crazy when it says not enough memort, Hint: Upgrade Hard Drive. HARD DRIVE IS STORAGE NOT MEMORY. MEMORY=RAM NOT HARD DRIVE. How does a programmer not know this?

All these complaints seem to be from people who aren't playing the game optimally unless a rebalance started. I started less than 24 hours ago and would have more investors upon formatting than many in the "Best comments" section who claim to have been playing for days.
One thing that would be nice to see is a stat on how fast older apps are running and exactly how much cash per second they're netting.

So, I let this game idle for several hours yesterday and got to a decent point. I saved the game assuming (like nearly every other idle game I've ever played) that the save would be like I let the game idle overnight. Nope...it saves it from where I was...and I got to start from where I was first thing this morning. That's a little discouraging.

It is very easy to reach the level for 1 investor to pop up though, grinding for investor support makes sense (although number of investors should be larger for greater formats)

i like the idea, but it needs alot of work still, ALOT, feels punishingly slow and i know its gets faster but for many players its a dealbreaker, put some carrots in or more apps with different ratios so we can manage them .. more apps could work with a limit on no. of them per os
