when i was 12 years old i used to play theses games with my small brother but now he is done playing these so trying to play this game alone is a bitch but sometimes it is fun playing it alone because you are fcking every thing up for fun

Same problem as the previous one: no custom keys = totally crappy controls as keyboards can't register so many keys at the same time. For example it's sometimes impossible to move and/or jump with both characters at the same time.

in the southeast corner of the map the lower of the 2 diamond shaped levels seems to have some glitches in it the blue light will only freeze water once for me then it stops working is that just my computer or is that happening to anyone else

maybe a button configuration could be very useful,
at least for azerty users like me, who doesn't like to change their keyboard configuration often ;)

Is it just me or does the jumping and level select sound exactly like sounds from zelda? I really hope they are not stolen.

Beware of timed doors.
I was rusing down the final timed door on the center level. The door closes on me, and now I'm stuck. It get's better the players can swap places, but one of them still remains stuck. Hilarious and annoying bug.

The soonest, easiest level to get an A rank on is level 9. Have fire boy push the top right box down underneath the gem so you can grab it then onto the button on the very bottom to open the door to victory! Everything else in the level is pointless. Very easy to do in less than 1 min.

As a world renowned expert game developer, I must say this game does slightly impress me. Although, it's not quite up to my high standards. I give it 3/5.

did A rank in level 1 (not 0) in 24 seconds after the 3rd or 4th try. so its definitly possible. i like the idea of the game, but something isn't quite right --- 2/5

Oh, did anyone notice that the scream when you die, sounds exactly like the one from the Zelda games? I actually think it IS the same scream. Actually...now that I'm listening, the sound they make when jumping is from Zelda, and the sound it makes when you pass over a level is the sound of Navi. That is pretty cool.

A very, very solid series and a great 3rd entry. Very painful memories attached to the last one, but still. As others have said, it desperately needs an R hotkey to restart. Actually, it would just be better if the level automatically restarted. 9 times out of 10, you're going to try again if you fail so it would save so much time if it just started over right away. Overall though a..4.5/5

Less irritating than the last one. Still dodgy on the responsiveness, but seems like it is better quality on the puzzles and less on pixel perfect timing from what i've seen so far. Still cant like the game too much, as a forever aloner, but... worth at least 3/5 for the improvements, may push it up to 4 if it continues delivering on unique puzzles

I really love these games. There's something really charming about FireBoy and WaterGirl, and about two children of completely different elements coming together to cooperate...OK, it's sappy, sure, but it's still a great game.

The first diamond level on the bottom right can be solved without using any of the lights. Just get fireboy to move the block until you can get the gem, then move the same block to open a path to the doors and jump on it to reach them. Even with some miss jumps, the level can be completed in less than a minute and get an A rating.

I love the fireboy watergirl concept. Someone else said something about needing a story line and I agree. Also this game really needs a hotkey(like "R") to restart the level. 4/5

I don't know if it's just me, but the game freezes if I keep D and -> simultaneously pressed while a door is opening.

The game is great, just as the prequels! But the levels won't save on my computer, so I have to start over each time. That is just annoying :(
