A way to skip the tutorial would be great, or at least a way to mute the game/ adjust settings from the beginning. i push the buttons but nothing happens

I've been having fun with the game for a few days, but the buttons to purchase new crops just don't appear sometimes. I have enough to buy the eighth crop, but I can't.

I found out something interesting: Once you have upgraded a field to double-star, if you save and reload the game, you get more prestige points for that crop than you should. To be precise, you get double the expected amount plus the points for the single-star. So, for example, unlocking everything up to double-star-gras should give me 4151 points, instead I get 5281, which is 3053+2*1098+32. That even works with the extra points for unlocking a crop for the first time!

I'm updating my calculator to also include two-star-crops, so here's a fun fact from the simulation I've run: If you wanted to play all the way to two-star-corn without resetting once (and therefor no prestige bonus), without manual work and optimized purchases, it would take around 107.1 million years (a few thousand years less, actually, but whatever). Going for simple star-corn instead would only take a bit over 2779 years.

@DragonMage75 - once you unlock Corn, you can start doing Special Fields starting with Grass, which give you more money per sell, and unlocking also grants you PP.

Cute little game, but its not really worth playing once you unlock Corn. Not worth continuing the run, or starting a new farm. I have two suggestions for you to give the game play-longevity in both runs and as a whole. First, add the ability to gain upgrade stars every so many Corn that you harvest in that run (i.e.: harvest 50 get one star, harvest 100 get a second star, etc.). And second, add achievements to earn across runs to give goals to try and reach to make you want to continue playing longer, such as "By a New Farm [X number] times", "Harvest [X number] Tomatoes in a single farm", "Harvest [X number] Peppers across all farms", "Reach Work Multiplier of x25", "Buy [X number] Upgrades". Just an idea that would make this game great!

@alwindar - that's why the "Backup" option exists in the settings... so that you have a backup of your save, to load at the start screen, should something like that happen.

It would be nice if you could do manual work in the store as well as the fields. If you've bought upgrades to the salesmen selling price, it's beneficial to sell that crop in the store rather than with the buy all button. Salesmen are slow, though, and it would be nice to be able to speed up that process.

Also note: your work multiplier IS affecting Special Fields - they just have that much time required for them - they're harder than Cornfield.

Underneath the * with the number you'd get, there's another number - you need to have that much on-hand to buy the Stars from the Merchant.

how do you access the gold star prestige points AFTER adding corn and making it to level 50 on another field. i see the star and the prestige points, but it never makes into my account???

i've been playing for weeks but the other day when i try to play it just shows a black screen after the game loads and i click play. it always shows the black screen and doesn't let me play anymore. what's wrong with this?

Corn is utterly useless as there's no point in not resetting the moment you get it - there are no prestige points to earn beyond it.
