I have discovered that clicking my chickens causes them to scatter in fear. Obviously, this has brought my countless hours of amusement. However, it also begs the question: what's so wrong about a farmer touching his own cock in the privacy of his own home?

Okay, the wife's watering skill waters the crops every minute, but until you put some decent points into it, it waters one field for a few seconds.

Nothing really. An experiment to learn if you could save the game progress on kongregate servers, but the api does not work as I expected and didn't work. But now I cannot delete that tab :-/

I've got a problem at the loading screen. The loading bar can only reach 50%, then the game screen turned white. I've tried changing the browser, but I still fail to load the game. Any advice?

Also, one thing I'd like to see is a "Sell All Eggs" button so that I don't need to click 100 times if I leave the game running while I go to work.

Janet, the mayor's daughter, has a skill of "selling" and is worth 2000 points to marry. Brenda's skill is collecting eggs, and is worth 1500 points to marry. Dana's skill is watering, and is worth 1000 points to marry. Thumbs so others can see.

Great game, I love it so much; I'm playing it on two sites! One tiny problem: the wheat feed bag amount covers the top left field's water bar; could it be moved under the bar or somewhere that's not in the way?

never mind, looks like it was deleted or something, basically your wife starts at level ten and has those ten skill points all ready placed in either selling, egg gathering or watering. Selling is the mayor's daughter and I don't remember the others, sorry

At me 1 harvest give 300k + 200k bonus. But selling 12 eggs give only 380k, and it maximum. Very small profit from eggs.

Perhaps the egg collection skill could work better with more chickens? As it stands, because the wife only ever collects a fixed number, additional chooks do nothing at all while idle.
One also feels rather sorry for the poor woman, condemned to a life where her only interactions are with chickens and receiving endless bunches of flowers.

Reaching crop level 9 and upgrading your potatoes that sell for $10 to super potatoes that sell for $4800 is pretty awesome.

Well I have a full upgraded house... my Wife is leveling nicely and whatnot... so why can't I take her inside and make babies? Have a bunch of rugrats running around helping on the farm is exactly how it works in the real world so get on that Junjo! We want kids!

i think there might be a bug with one of the fields. i have my wife to watering the fields but one of the fields is always on 100% even after i harvest adn it start growing again it is on 100% water. ( down left field ) it seams as a nice benefit for me though but it is kinda a bug if u ask me.
Look closer. When she is watering, your crops grow at "watered" speed for that time. It seems little time, but is enough to have them growing faster in a certain %. Useful when idle.

How is determined when a chicken lays an egg? Is it just a fixed interval? Is there a randomisation factor?
Could you add some multicoloured chickens? I am sad that I can't tell Hannah, Emma, Lucy, Jocelyn and Sarah apart!

Have played this for 3 days now. Some tips:
- With wife skills, watering is largely useless, selling is good, and collecting eggs is fantastic once levelled up to 10+.
- Go straight for eggs and level up the eggs trader to max with prosperity. Don't bother much with compost or tools, the returns diminish to nothing very rapidly.
- Pro-tip: Go into town. Reset your skills. Put all points into selling. Go back to your farm (important), then go back into town... *then* you can sell your eggs and sell to the market trader with 100% skill points in sell and get a lot more cash. Doesn't work with crops, but if you're focused on eggs and the market trader, it works perfectly.
- Don't buy seeds past corn, all it will do is give you "upgraded" potatoes (and other veg), which are really hard to farm and kills off easy money from the market trader.
- Play manually and optimally during the 30 minutes where you have the flower bonus active.

just bought the lvl 15 seeds for 4200 mil, it didnt take the money from me, it waited til i had it to actually let me get them but then after i should have had 3 mil left, i still have the 4200 mil and i have the needs to plant
