yeah eggs give the best source of exp for your wife,but how do i use it for?to add col. eggs skill,then faster upgrade,then continue add col. skill?circulate until forever?it may just make you on the top of high score list,but i dont like.the 12nd chicken need 8000M,but i just get 300M by eggs everyday!if double the number of collect,i will get 600M everyday(no count cost of fodder).this will not kill the fun because of i get 10000M when i wake up this moring.i think this game is very good and i love it but i think the data of eggs and col. skill may need be adjust

to those complaining about the egg collecting skill think of it this way... at most it takes 2-4 minutes for a chicken to go into harvest mode if the wife collected faster then that and collected X number of eggs at the same time yes itd be faster but also messier .. shed collect so fast shed try to force a chicken to crap out an egg before its ready >.> thats just mean also its not an easy idle game its like any other you gain alot more by NOT being idle over being idle
if you gained everything so easy while being idle thatd kill the fun of it

wife's skills is not very useful.my wife is LVL161 and i added 153 point to collect eggs,but it's still slow----her just col. 5 eggs per 4.5mins!please calculate:i can get about 133 dozen eggs every day,that is to say that i can get about 300M every day----i can get 500M by complete order and it just cost 1.5 hour!so i think its too less:( i have 11 chickens now and the 12nd chicken is not expensive to me,but its useless because i just need 5 chickens:(I think this is lopsided.

Getting 3 LEVELS for my guy in the time it takes to get 2 bunches of flowers... something is wring with the flower rate.

I'm not sure if this has been recommended but since you already have the thing where your wife can collect eggs and give you boosts maybe in Idle Farmer 2 you could also allow her to cook you different dishes if you give her some of your crops and you could figure out different recepies that would have different boosts. Maybe you could put in a sort of clock so that we could see a time and you could then eat a dish for a boost once per day or something like that. Anyways I really enjoy the game, has a lot of that nice Harvest Moon feel, really hope Idle Farmer 2 is even better! xD

hecster grow wheat then click it in its holding pin spot itll be turned into feed also if 9:51 x 1 means your wife will harvest 1 egg every 10 minutes

How do you buy feed, unless your supposed to grow feed, then when can I unlock it as I am lvl 123? Also after what minute or so can your wife collect eggs as I am @ 9:51 X 1

make workers that you could pay and make it so u can leave the game and still get that thing which would be like idle mine and make workers that collect things for you and such

nekoneko if you leave the chickens alone to just be collected by the wife the feed will last much longer i have 10 chickens and i can keep them all feed for a week on 10k feed

don't collect more chickens than your wife can auto collect.. they suck up so much chicken feed if you have too many. took me a day to collect 50k feed.. gone a few days later with 9 chickens
You are right, the chickens that exceds the auto collect are only useful when you are active and can click on them. But don't worry about feed wasted, they don't eat when have an egg under them ;)

Why this not that bad idler has only 200k plays while idle mine - propably one of the worst "games" (if its right to call it a game) on kongregate has over 3 milions ?

@michael 881, wheat its just a normal crop, to store it in your house you need to click it, or else it will always automatically sell when it is in the caskets

How about your wife waits to collect eggs, until they are available for collection? Instead of wasting your "ability" and having to wait.
Sorry about that. Local store (the one used by autosave) isn't very stable, and can be erased by browser crashes, cookies deletion... That's why I've added the online save... I recomend to save online from time to time so you can load if something bad happens with the local saved data.
If you are talking about the one you set appart for the chickens (showed on the left, under the eggs counter) it's a f**** bug I cannot locate. The good news is that it isn't realy wasted: it turns into exp points for the wife when happens (becouse the problem is that the wife enters in a loop of "feeding chickens", so she gains +1 exp with every wheat you had stored).

a) do we really need to ask you to do ctrl+ option on every "abused" buy/sell/gift button? mayor for example, ctl+ gives all 3 "donations" at a time (or just increase price 3x and leave single click), and it would be nice so that we could buy more than one prospect point at a time and distribute them among poop, tools, chicken, seed and any future traders, also i'd like to raise their lvl by more than 1lvl per click ;)
b) i invest millions in towns prosperity, why cant i see any changes (paved streets, sidewalks, signs, light posts, fancyer trader pavilions, ANYTHING FOR MY MILIONS, at least once per 50prosp. lvls)?
c) question for the end: is my lvl just to low or merchant always buys only one type of crop? if so, don't you think it would be cool if he would be interested in buying more than one/more than 4 ;D types of crop at the time?
p.s. why do you hide your amazing artwork under tablets? cant you make them appear when mouse cursor is in representative corner or button?
I'll do something with that "3 donations" and see if I can add a ctrlx10 in more buttons. About showing "hidden" artwork... do you mean the one under the black part, on the top? I'll think on that.

oh & P.S. @ xXBiLLyXx, my goal starting out was to put all my focus/money on getting the highest level seed possible. It was slow in the beginning. (I play mostly idle style btw.) But I'm really happy I pushed to get the best seeds, because once I thought I was gonna lose my mind, I switched over to dumping money into compost & tools. THEN the hard work started paying off big time. Like you, I'm at 200% harvest. I've taken time to upgrade other skills now (like Running! I figure it's a nice increase of money rate just by getting from crop to crop faster.) That's just my perspective in case it helps you any. :)

Do higher level seeds take more time to grow/harvest? man i have 200% bonus to harvest but it seems soooo slow, if they do i wish i could see what seed gives me the highest gold/hour, some stats would be nice

Overall, this is a really great game. It's kept me entertained, that's for sure! I do have a few questions, though, since I can't seem to find the answer on here. What are the golden eggs and what do they do? Can you sell the eggs, or are they only good for eating omelets? If you can sell them, how do you do so? Please, let me know. :D
good question: what are the golden eggs? :) I don't have idea. For good white eggs, you can sell them at the egg trader, a guy you can unlock bay rising the prosperity at the Mayor (you need to have seeds level 8 first).

It's a little irritating to spend huge amounts of money to level up the different things and then you change it so it cost less. Can you make it so we get the money back?
well... don't think that you have wasted your money, the money is just for invest on upgrades, so simply now is a bit faster to progress earning the same money... forget the past, everybody payed the same.
